More of a 3.5 star rating but I gave this volume 4 stars due to how great the fight/training scenes looked. This volume mainly focused on Inugami bringing Kabane, Shiki, and Akira to some other Tanuki to get some unique training. It’s interesting seeing Kabane struggle with himself for once and actually being fearful, meanwhile it’s lovely seeing the new moves Shiki and Akira do. Also, Nobimaru gathers some new members for Lady Inari although he additionally lets Inugami in on what’s happening. Nobimaru is a really interesting character since I can’t get a good read on him, so I’m very curious to learn why he hates Lady Inari so much.
I really like how well written some of these characters are. I really like Nobimaru and want to learn more of his back story. Also, Inari is a pretty good villain. I hate her so much. I also like some of the other Kitsune even though they have done bad things. I also liked seeing Akira finally getting stronger, and I liked seeing more of Kabane's character development.
The best trio in manga right now. You can’t help but love them as a power trio learning how to fight as a team during a training arc. The volume starts out strong with establishing how great a villain Inari is, but the bulk of this volume is the boys and their learning more about their powers. Really good stuff!
Riusciranno a crescere? Comunque è interesante.
