Intrepid is the story of a young, courageous working class lad who gets caught up in events that are beyond his control, events that will change him and those around him forever. The book is based on a true story that unfolds in post war Britain, a time of political and social uncertainty but also one of optimism and opportunity. The story is moving, uplifting and, in some instances, horrifying. It is an engaging and compulsive read that will take you back to a time not so long ago when the Britain of today was being forged after one of the most challenging periods in the country's history.
