The Silver Cover series just keeps getting better with each book! The title of this book is definitely the perfect one as this story is definitely about second chances and the things that you are willing to go through to make them happen. Great interpersonal connections between the characters wrapped in a story with intrigue and mayhem to make it exciting. You could absolutely read this book as a stand alone, but you would be missing out on a ton of entertainment, back story about all the characters and town as well as a build up to the events that happen in this book!

Another great addition to the Silver Cove series by Jill Sanders. The book does stand alone, but why not just read the whole series?! The story is well written and unique. I love the whole cast of characters.

After reading each book by Jill Sanders, I'm thinking, how she is doing this?
Every new release is better than the previous one and I read a lot of her books and loved them all. This one is no exception, Olivia and Todd, has been abused in the past, Olivia by her ex husband, who is in jail. Todd, by someone even closer.
They both decided to try something new, only to have past finding it's way to them.
Loved the storyline.

Olivia and Todd have been through abuse. Both are afraid to trust again. Todd didn't expect to fall in love with a cute little girl instantly, but when he saw a little leaving the pizza parlor, he knew he was smitten. He also became instantly smitten with her beautiful mother. Olivia is afraid to let Todd into their lives because he may not stick around and then they would both be heart broken. When trouble comes, Todd realizes that he would do anything to protect Olivia and Olivia feels the same way.

Learning love isn't always a battle is hard after living thru abuse and Todd has his work cutout for him with Olivia. When bad things begin to happen they both think it has something to do with their pasts. Grab this awesome, who-is-doing-it, romance and enjoy the ride!!

Olivia and her daughter were living in Silver Cove after her divorce from her violent husband. Todd had recently moved into what used to be his parents holiday home - the only place he had any happy memories - determined to make himself a home for now. When Todd and Olivia met it was under slightly strained circumstances, but their chemistry was undeniable.
Todd has a bit of a mysterious background and Olivia is guarded about her back story. Their respective pasts cause worry and threaten to come between them but they find something in each other that they deserve, happiness and hope for the future.
Lovely story with love, extended pseudo families and good friends who look out for each other. Nice little mystery in there too.

I loved this book. I always loved Jill's book's. I didn't like the crazy exs! I loved the love story in the book. I loved the character's in it, I don't like Brock and Kimber. they was nut's. such a great story, can't wait to read more of her books.

Todd has moved back to Silver Cove after years away. All he wants is to remodel his mother's old house and adjust to civilian living again. Meeting a woman is the last thing on his mind.

Second Chances is a great addition to the Jill Sanders Silver Cove series. Todd and Olivia have both had troubled pasts. The only thing Olivia's ex gave her was her daughter Simona. When Todd returns to Silver Cove he unexpectedly charmed by a six year old girl. Jill always writes compelling stories with great characters and great interpersonal relationships. I always love small town romances and Jill never fails to deliver.

This was just a beautiful story. I liked the single mum second chance romance. Todd and Olivia have both been through things in their past so it will take time and trust to build something new and beautiful. Simona was adorable and a handful of fun. A loving and heart warming small town story.

A story about two people who have had tough pasts and only together can they heal. Add in a precocious daughter Simona and some good friends and it becomes a sweet read. Plus you have some spice and a few bad guys and you have a good book.

Another brilliant read from Jill. Wow Todd, Olivia and Simone's story is full definitely second chance story and none deserves it more than them. Todd is an unexpected surprise for them both and he falls in love with Simone first then her mum Olivia what a wonderful read

Olivia and Todd have both sworn off love, but find a second chance for love with each other. A sweet romance with steam, wonderful characters, and danger and suspense thrown in. This story is a great addition to the Silver Cove series and I love revisiting the town and it's wonderful inhabitants.

Small town romance with lots of heart, laughter, family and a second chance at forever... was a sweetly thrilling adventure that kept me reading all night. An edge of your seat and highly entertaining journey.
