I didn't care for this book at all. It had potential, but fell flat for me about half way through. The characters seemed to change into completely different people and what was somewhat an interesting book in the beginning started to get rather juvenile.

Mesmerizing book about finding oneself.
He's grumpy, he's angry, he's lost, he feels unworthy and now he's on a mission to find out if he's a Morgan after his Mother's final words that left him angry.
I feel for the characters and only wanted more and more!

i read the whole thing because i hate to dnf but this was not a good book. if I had a shot every time Olivia described Aiden as “tall, dark, and handsome” using the same words over and over again, of about how Aiden thinks Olivia’s eyes are so piercingly blue, I probably would be dead. The characters reveal insecurities to each other in moments of vulnerability (his dyslexia and her inability to swim) and they both just forget about it?? And then proceed to ask about that insecurity again as if they have never talked about it?? This book repeats information all the time as if the reader has already forgotten (we haven’t) and it just gets so repetitive and annoying. Lots of telling us about x y or z instead of showing us anything. Basically lots of words and little to get out of it. Also not to continue to sound crabby but putting “Wub-dub-dub. Wub-dub-dub.” into a line to describe the music multiple times through the book is also unnecessary and annoying. It’s just very clear that the editing on this book was quite lax and I would not recommend this book to pretty much anyone.

This was a great steamy read with the best friend's little sister. I found the H to be perfectly flawed and I loved reading through his thought process and seeing how he changed along the way. I found Olivia to be a sweet little sister of his best friend and I adored her personality and her zest for archives. Their story is a quick easy read packed with steam and angst

Die Anziehungskraft zwischen den beiden ist von Anfang an spürbar. Beide dürfen aber nichts miteinander anfangen. Es gibt ein paar Gründe dafür. Aber wie soll man sich so einer starken Anziehungskraft entziehen. Weitere Informationen zum Buch findet ihr im Klappentext. Aiden und Olivia sind zwei wundervolle Charaktere. Beide habe ich sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Das Buch hat mir gut gefallen. Zwischendurch wusste ich nicht, ob mir das Buch gefällt. Erst hatte ich gedacht, dass das Buch mir nicht gefällt, aber mit der Zeit hat mir das Buch gut gefallen. Das Buch ist auf jeden Fall leichte Lektüre für zwischendurch. Das Buch wird aus der Sicht von Aiden und Olivia erzählt. Mir gefallen die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven super, da man sich so super in die Charaktere hineinversetzen kann. Der Schreibstil der Autorin gefällt mir gut. Das Cover passt super zum Buch. Danke für die tollen Lesestunden. ❤️❤️❤️

My! Heart!
I have so many emotions right now, I barely know where to begin. I really enjoy how well Vivian Wood brought these characters to life and, not only that, made me care so dang much! I feel like I'm right there, on the sidelines, observing everything laid out before me. I laughed, I cried, I melted, and I even got a little bothered by the sexual chemistry! It was everything I want in a book! I adore Aiden and is painful past. He's such a good guy but he doesn't realize it. He's just a lost soul, like most of us are. Then there's Olivia. She doesn't know how to socialize, but she's booksmart and gorgeous, but doesn't know it. I think she's the woman we hope to be or what to be friends with. I love Grayson! I wish I had a brother like him. However, Grayson also seems lost, especially when it comes to relationships. I love all the other characters, well I dislike a few, but I love how well thought out they all are. Don't even get me started on the incredible storyline! I will be coming back to read this story again in the future! It's that good!

Although it is the ‘sequel’, it runs concurrently in the timeline of Dirty Little Heart. I love this forbidden romance trope so I had high hopes of this book. Thankfully Vivian Wood met them all.
This book is adorable. There’s just enough angst to keep you going. Aiden and Olivia do everything right for the forbidden best friend-little sister trope. Aiden watches from afar until he breaks his own promise and sleeps with her. He’s loyal to Grayson to the end though (kinda), since as he’s breaking his promise, he’s also telling her it’s a summer fling and nothing more. Olivia has had a crush on him forever and being with him is a dream come true for her.
In the background of this book, Aiden is in location for his own personal reasons. There’s a bit of a family drama story happening in the background. Although interesting, I think there wasn’t enough weight put to it as I was not at all curious as to what was occurring with it. When those scenes came up, they annoyed me for dragging the book on longer.
Aiden is claimed to be a playboy but we don’t really see it; just hear about it. I found this incredibly annoying. The author called him one simply for drama when in reality it played no part to the story or the depth of the character. It was something that was just there.
I feel for Olivia. Everytime she got one step further with him, he pushed them back two. When he claimed to tell Grayson, he would back down last moment. For a woman wanting a commitment, and one being just a grip away, she’s frustrated. I was frustrated for her!
Good book. Enjoyed much more than Dirty Little Heart. I am interested in the teacher-student romance coming up in Dirty Little Thing with Carter. A different side of that character will be great.

Da ich kein Buch der Autorin kenne bin ich auf die Story neugierig geworden. Es ist eine tolle Geschichte für zwischendurch. Sie ist spannend, die Anziehung und das knistern zwischen den beiden Protas ist spürbar. Aiden hat eine schwäche und hegt Gefühle schon lange für Olivia, aber darf sie nicht haben, seine Freundschaft zu Grayson möchte er nicht aufs Spiel setzen, aber als sie beide für die gleiche Familie arbeiten ist es unvermeidlich sich aus dem Weg zu gehen. Jedoch möchten sie etwas finden das Aiden helfen soll an das zu glauben was ihm seine Mutter, auf dem Sterbebett anvertraut hat. Olivia ist seit sie jung war in ihn verliebt.
Die Geschichte ist aus wechselhaften Sichten geschrieben. Tolle Protas wie, auch neben Charaktere. Der Schreibstil ist gut, jedoch für mich war er gewöhnungsdürftig, ist nicht so packend. ich vergebe 4 Sterne.

Let me be honest, as much as I was in love with Grayson when I read Dirty little Heart, I always kept thinking about Aiden in the back of mind so I was soooo excited to read his story and let me tell you,Vivian did NOT disappoint.
Right from the start you're pulled in an intense moment with Aiden and his family and a lot of secrets and lies that are going down. Does Aiden take it well? If you know him then you'll know the answer is not so much! From there it's kind of Aiden's mission to uncover the lies and find out what's what!
Ahhhhhh Olivia! I'm so happy to get to know more about Gryason's little sister and her ever evolving personality. When she and Aiden bump into each other at the last place either expected to see one another it's not necessarily easy going, I mean Aiden has always treated her a certain way when she wants to be looked at differently.
I have to admit some of my favorite parts are the flashbacks that gives us a glimpse and insight into how Aiden has been feeling about Olivia all these years and it's so sweet.
Dirty Little Secret has a touch of EVERYTHING family drama, secrets, lies.....betrayal but gah, those moments between Olivia and Aiden as they slowly grow closer together? Intense and hot! I could stay in their world forever!

Dirty Little Secret is a hot and steamy ride, so be prepared. As always Vivian does an excellent job of creating a story that keeps you entertained with the characters and how their journey unfolds.
Here we have Aiden, a playboy, who just so happens to be the best friend of Grayson from Dirty Little Heart. But he goes down a bad road when he receives some devastating news. Here he finds himself working with Gray's sister Olivia. He has been trying to resist starting something with her because of his best friend. But what happens when she has also had a crush on him for all of these years?
These two together are the perfect combination. He is a Romeo that hides his pain. She is quite and determined to get what she wants. Each characters grows during their journey, as well as together. Questions get answered here that Aiden was looking for, with the help of Olivia. They work well together, and have such great chemistry. You cant help but love them and their journey!! I would definitely recommend this series.

5 Dirty Little Stars!!! Ummmm... this book was highly addictive!!! I'm obsessed!!
I love a good forbidden romance book, and Vivian definitely did a great job with this one! The second I opened my kindle, I knew I wouldn't be able to put it down... and I was right!! I loved the development of the characters and their chemistry! Holy... yeah you know what I'm saying! If you like a dirty, steamy romance then I highly recommend this book ASAP!

Amazing emotional read with a few twists and turns and trying to find the truth thur years of lies pulls it all together to make this book everything you want and more. Can't wait to read what she has next

I love these secrets, let's give a try kind of relationships on top of it being by one of my favorite go to authors. What more can you ask for? It's a win win situation. Aiden, the playboy is best friends with beautiful Olivia's brother. What could possibly go wrong? I really enjoyed watching their relationship blossom.

Aiden is best friends with Grayson and he's also attracted to his sister Olivia. Aiden knows Grayson will never like him being with Olivia. Olivia has had a crush on Aiden for a long time. She's all grown up and wants Aiden. These two have intense chemistry that they can't fight. A good read full of a full range of emotions.

This was a sweet, yet super steamy read and I loved every moment. Vivian knows how to bring the sexy, mix it with the sweet and deliver characters who you want to see find their HEA. I can't wait to see what Wood brings us next, I'll be waiting with bated breath.

Wer einen prickelnden Liebesroman für zwischendurch sucht, ist mit "Sinful Fling" von Vivian Wood genau richtig. Trotz kleinerer Schwächen gelingt der Autorin eine Geschichte, die ruhig u. langsam beginnt u. sich dann zu einer leidenschaftlichen, knisternden Romanze entwickelt.

Kurz zur Story:
Aiden ist gut aussehend u. ein absoluter Aufreißer. Das weiß auch sein bester Freund Grayson. Deshalb nimmt dieser Aiden das Versprechen ab, niemals mit seiner kleiner Schwester Olivia etwas anzufangen.
Blöd nur, dass Olivia auf Aiden eine gewisse Anziehung ausübt. Und auch Olivia ist von dem attraktiven Kumpel ihres Bruders nicht abgeneigt.
Gefährlich wird das vor allem, als sie u. Aiden zufällig an derselben Arbeitsstelle im Herrenhaus der alten Margaret landen, Olivia als Archivistin, Aiden als Mann für alles. Denn ab dem ersten Tag an laufen sich Olivia u. Aiden ständig über den Weg u. mit jedem Mal wird die Spannung zwischen beiden größer…
Man steigt als Leser/Zuhörer sehr schnell in die Geschichte ein, die aus den Ich-Perspektiven von Olivia u. Aiden erzählt wird.
Ich habe die Geschichte als Hörbuch von Aufbau Audio gehört, die von Matti Kirsch (Aiden) u. Ella Rifka (Olivia) gelesen wird. Mit Aidens Sprecher konnte ich leider nicht ganz warm werden, die Figur der Olivia war mit Ella Rifka meiner Meinung nach dagegen eine perfekte Besetzung!
Olivia mochte ich durch ihre ruhige, fast schon zurückhaltende Art, die bewirkt, dass sie ständig rot wird, wenn ihr etwas peinlich ist. Im Laufe der Geschichte blüht sie auf u. wird zu einer starken, jungen Frau.
Mit Aiden dagegen konnte ich nicht ganz warm werden. Obwohl er durchaus seine charakterlichen Vorzüge hat, war er mir tatsächlich etwas zu vulgär. Das macht sich vor allem in seinen inneren Monologen bemerkbar, in denen es oftmals wirkt, als hätte er eine sehr sexistische Ansicht gegenüber Frauen u. würde sie nur für einen einzigen Zweck brauchen. Obwohl er zu Olivia sehr liebevoll ist u. manchmal gerne den Alpha-Mann gegenüber andere Männern raushängen lässt, fand ich das persönlich an ihm nicht so fein.
Obwohl man das Knistern u. die Spannung zwischen beiden Protagonisten spürt, hat es mir insgesamt etwas an Tiefe zwischen den beiden gefehlt. Obwohl sie sich schon fast ein Leben lang kennen, wirken sie oftmals einfach wie zufällige Bekannte, erzählen sich nichts über ihre Vergangenheit (Studium, Militär etc.) oder führen keine tiefgründigeren Gespräche, obwohl genügend Stoff hierfür vorhanden wäre. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass es sich ab einem gewissen Punkt fast ausschließlich um S*x u. die vielen, darin enthaltenden Höhepunkte dreht, u. Aidens Bedürfnis, die "Beziehung" zu Olive vor allen, vor allem vor Grayson, geheim zu halten. Warum das für ihn so wichtig ist, ist zwar nachvollziehbar, irgendwann aber dennoch etwas nervig.
Insgesamt deshalb eine nette Geschichte für zwischendurch, die auf alle Fälle viele prickelnde Momente u. Szenen bereithält!

Kurz zur Story:
Aiden ist gut aussehend u. ein absoluter Aufreißer. Das weiß auch sein bester Freund Grayson. Deshalb nimmt dieser Aiden das Versprechen ab, niemals mit seiner kleiner Schwester Olivia etwas anzufangen.
Blöd nur, dass Olivia auf Aiden eine gewisse Anziehung ausübt. Und auch Olivia ist von dem attraktiven Kumpel ihres Bruders nicht abgeneigt.
Gefährlich wird das vor allem, als sie u. Aiden zufällig an derselben Arbeitsstelle im Herrenhaus der alten Margaret landen, Olivia als Archivistin, Aiden als Mann für alles. Denn ab dem ersten Tag an laufen sich Olivia u. Aiden ständig über den Weg u. mit jedem Mal wird die Spannung zwischen beiden größer…
Man steigt als Leser/Zuhörer sehr schnell in die Geschichte ein, die aus den Ich-Perspektiven von Olivia u. Aiden erzählt wird.
Ich habe die Geschichte als Hörbuch von Aufbau Audio gehört, die von Matti Kirsch (Aiden) u. Ella Rifka (Olivia) gelesen wird. Mit Aidens Sprecher konnte ich leider nicht ganz warm werden, die Figur der Olivia war mit Ella Rifka meiner Meinung nach dagegen eine perfekte Besetzung!
Olivia mochte ich durch ihre ruhige, fast schon zurückhaltende Art, die bewirkt, dass sie ständig rot wird, wenn ihr etwas peinlich ist. Im Laufe der Geschichte blüht sie auf u. wird zu einer starken, jungen Frau.
Mit Aiden dagegen konnte ich nicht ganz warm werden. Obwohl er durchaus seine charakterlichen Vorzüge hat, war er mir tatsächlich etwas zu vulgär. Das macht sich vor allem in seinen inneren Monologen bemerkbar, in denen es oftmals wirkt, als hätte er eine sehr sexistische Ansicht gegenüber Frauen u. würde sie nur für einen einzigen Zweck brauchen. This is still part of the Hot as F$#k anthology. Good reads doesn't have the anthology listed so I am doing the books individually .... which is totally helping my book count go up lol
This one was a little harder to keep my interest.
I felt like there was just a lot of background stuff happening but nothing really important.
Some of the things that happened didn't seem to be expressed well.
When she told her brother she was pregnant, the way everyone had acted was just off. That whole scene with her brother, her, and Aiden just wasn't done right. For him to just drop down and ask her to marry him ... like why would he do that? She probably felt like he was just doing that because of the baby especially since they had not talked in weeks (i think).
There was one time where she had been mad at him for what happened at the bar when they met his sister... (the girl climbed him like a tree and kissed him) and I had expected it to be mentioned or brought up or something sine his chapter ended with him driving them home and her pissed off ... but the next chapter started with her and nothing was ever mentioned lol
I feel like the way it ended didn't really resolve anything. Because they had a falling out - she gave him an ultimatum and they hadn't talked the whole time. Yet he sees her for the first time and finds out she is pregnant only for them to go to the cabin and screw. They decided to live together but IDK it just all felt unresolved to me.
I was interested in their story though. He kept choosing her brother over her even after the relationship started. Plus it was never resolved how he only saw her as the little sister. IDK there were some things in their relationship that had just been dropped and never brought up and he was a complete ass. Soo there is that lol

This story had so much potential with their backstories and history, but it fell flat for me. It felt very clunky in the way it’s written and I found several inconsistencies (from the color of his eyes to her ability to swim). Some scenes skipped a bit too, which made them difficult to follow.
As his best friend and her brother, Grayson doesn’t have any main role in the story - though he’s the main reason Olivia and Aiden stay apart for so long. Plus, they talk a lot of Grayson and Rachel, but never go into detail about their relationship. That would make more sense if they are the main characters in the next book in the series, but they aren’t.
I eventually grew to like Aiden, but he was definitely hard to like throughout several scenes, including his constant flirting with other women even after he’d been with Olivia, and his reaction to her being a virgin.
Aiden’s feelings changing to love for Olivia seemed really sudden. There was no build-up. It just went from pure lust and sex in one chapter to all of a sudden love and wanting a future together the next. Then the story ended very abruptly, just throwing all the things that had happened in a short time frame at the floor with a shrug.
I really wanted to root for them, and again, there was a lot of potential to make this story a great romance, but it fell flat for me, earning it 1.5 stars.
Inconsistencies:
- Aiden’s eye color changes - once described as green, later described as dark brown, almost black.
- He teaches her to swim in one afternoon at the hot spring, but then later, he jokingly questions if she can swim and she says she can’t. He acts like he didn’t know… but he supposedly taught her at the hot spring.

I enjoyed this book all the way through. Olivia is beautiful, strong and stands up for herself. Aiden is traumatized from his past and trying to find answers about his biological father. Also did I mention Aiden is a man whore and Olivia still has yet to lose her v-card? 🤐 ya well for Aiden being such a man whore he definitely finds the patience for Olivia which is really sweet but because it is a forbidden romance there is a lot of ups and downs through the "relationship". I wish that there was more Grayson (Olivia's brother) in the book because as a secret romance I feel like there wasn't much of a challenge keeping things a secret when you have no one watching you, they worked together and slept in the same apartments in the middle of the woods for peet sake! Who's watching?👀Anywho the relationship was easily ubtainable with little to no challenges. I would have liked to have read alittle more about Margaret (old women with estate where Aiden and Olivia stay) discovering the truth about Aiden; since there is a lot to discover. I felt there was too many times brought up the fact that Olivia was working and less imagination. Megan (Margaret's Lawyer) was also not mentioned or spoken of after the party Megan invited Olivia to? I don't know, a little unfinished with parts of the book, but all in all a wonderful story. I'm a sucker for a forbidden romance!! 😍 I enjoyed both the main characters thank you for a good read.

I loved it.
Adaline has a one night fling the day before she is leaving for the States with a masked stranger, that she later on believes was Prince Elias.
Several years later, while she is back in France due to a public scandal in her hometown of London. She is staying at her family's villas and is asked to deliver baskets daily to the villa next door where the prince is staying for the summer.
The two have a connect but he can't be with Adaline because he must marry another noble. Unable to deny their feelings, they meet secretly all the while Prince Elias is publicly linked to another woman. Adaline is asked to plan Elias's wedding to Princess Emily, which is causes her to put things into perspective. She ends things with Elias and ends her exile from London and her business.
When the king dies and Elias is named the new king of France, Adaline must see him one last time.

Aiden’s trying to find out who his biological father is and is quite the womanizer on a hiatus from his job. Olivia takes on a job organizing the Moreland family’s records for Ms Margaret who has employed them both. Turns out they’ll both be staying in the same estate. Secretly they’re both stoked when they find out but each has their own secret desire for the other person. Aiden’s best friend Grayson is Olivia’s big brother and Grayson has warned him off his sister. Sparks fly all over the place between the two. It gets downright sexy and steamy as heck.
I think this was a greatly written book, even though the ending didn’t necessarily close all loose ends.
Great characters and storyline. Storyline left you wanting to continue in search of the answers. Fabulous chemistry between Aiden & Olivia. Can’t wait to see if during the series, how they’ll grow as a couple.
