When his ex's kid shows up unexpectedly on his doorstep, Lex has a hard time keeping his eyes to himself. The last thing Andy needs right now is a guy old enough to be his father getting handsy with him.
But Andy isn't a kid anymore, and he's not here just to reminisce about his mom. When the tension between them reaches breaking point, the only real question is whether or not Lex finds out the truth about who Andy is to him, before it's too late.
2.5 stars Meh. Not enough feels and not enough build up. I’m not even sure I liked the characters TBH. I usually love this author but this was a miss for me.
A flaming sexy read on a taboo trope. Not for everyone especially if you have triggers, but I liked it. It had RJ Moray’s alluring style and it worked for me.
This was a very sweet read even though it was a taboo subject. Andy and Lex are attracted to each other from the start, but neither acts on their feelings. Lex is supportive and encouraging of Andy, something Andy hasn't experienced much of in his life. And Andy is eager to please Lex and make him proud. When they finally give into their desires it is very hot. This packs a lot into such a short story.
Well, this was different for me. It started out ok, two men, with an age gap, liking each other, but then it became possible that Andy might actually be Lex's son. At that point I expected to be repelled, but I wasn't. They were cute together, had never known each other until the day Andy turned up on Lex's doorstep. I enjoyed the story, the nurturing, it was only when Andy started talking about his dead Mum that it all went wonky and the doubts hit Lex. All in all a good story.

😱 this is really a taboo novella, since Lex is the real father of Andy.... I wasn't expecting nor hoping that.
Andy is looking for his real dad and also for a Daddy, and he gets what he was looking for. The steam scenes were hot, and I was hoping Lex didn't had any sexual relationship with Andy's mother, but turns out he is bi and he did had something with her :S, result: Andy (Lex and Andy even look alike)
While it was very hot, I also do not like to read incest (blood-related) 😬

Not sure how she does it, but RJ built a complex story in such a short book! A highly charged and sexy dynamic was evident in the first few pages and unravelling the past with the characters is fun and brings the emotions to the surface. Highly taboo content makes for a delicious read in my opinion and RJ makes this one steam up the Kindle!
R.J. Moray is one of my favorite authors discovered through Prolific Works giveaways. The short stories that she puts out like this are incredibly hot and very well written. Her handling of taboo topics is excellent and I love the story she made for Andy and Lex. I could read lots more about them, but not because this short is lacking in anything. I'm just greedy.
Wow! This story was great! I was lucky enough to get my hands on a copy and I can’t be more grateful. The writing style was perfect for a short story not to much extra descriptives for no reason. Really gets to the heart of the characters and what they want. It’s a fast, easy read that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy as long as your okay with the Taboo content!
As a romance novella, the courtship and consumation fill an intriguing plot. The two protagonists are interestingly drawn: foibles, lusts, teases more than overcome any need for more physicality. The heat level burns the page. Being a social taboo is incidental.
Lex opens his door to a cute 18 year old twink who claims to be the son of a girl he knew back in high school. To honor his friend, and because he feels for the kid, Lex opens his home to Andy. Offering him food and shelter for little more than chores around the house.
Lex was better than Andy could have imagined. Andy came in search of a potential father only to find a man he wants as a lover. The attraction is clearly mutual. But it’s not till after their first encounter that Lex realizes how much they look alike and does the math.
Morning after regrets has Lex wanting to push Andy into finding his own place, but Andy turns on the charm, begging to suck Daddy’s cock, begging Daddy to fuck him. And, yeah, that plain does it for Lex.
Oh, and Lex and Andy are both short for Alexader. ;)
Lex really didn’t look mad though. “So how’d you get ‘Andy’ out of ‘Alexander’?” he asked.
“Oh.” Andy shrugged. “When I was a kid I used to tell people my name was ‘Alexandy’. It stuck.”
Warning: consensual incest between a father and the adult son he never knew he had.
There was a Law & Order: SVU episode that mentioned genetic sexual attraction. According to the wikipedia article, it’s considered pseudo-science.
I truly disliked this book. I hated the father and his personality. I hated his thought process. There was nothing about him that was intriguing or helped you relate to him in anyway and as for the boy... I just felt sorry for him.
