War is happy to have found his mate, but can he accept a union with another coven? He already has enough witch problems; will a coven of warlocks be any different? But can he really say no to his fated mate? Is Arik willing to leave his peaceful coven for a den full of chaos?
Troy’s Warlock: Honey Creek Den Book 2
The last thing Troy ever expects is to scent his mate at a den celebration. When he realizes it’s the Alpha Mate’s older brother, will his Alpha accept him as a member of the family? Will the young warlock’s centuries-old terrifying parents be welcoming? Even polar bears know not to piss them off.
Ryker’s Enchantment: Honey Creek Den Book 3
When Ryker scents Arin, he and his bear know immediately that he’s their fated mate. But trying to get the stubborn warlock to agree is another battle altogether. What’s holding him back? Doesn’t he feel the pull as well? That’s how it’s supposed to work.
Each book contains a fated mate pair, Mpreg, lots and lots of knotting during growly sexy times and babies, lots of babies. These bears will do anything their mates ask, just read and see. The Honey Creek Den Series is meant to be read in order even though each book focuses on a different couple. This book is intended for adults only as these shifters tend to get growly and don’t watch their language.
I forgot about this series. I had recently ran across a different series that just so happened to be connected to this one. After looking around I discovered that I had actually read the first book. Or rather, I started to anyones. Once I dived in I realized why I stopped. This series isn't all that great. The writing is horrendous on so many levels. It's like a really bad fanfiction basically. I can feel what the writer was going for but I can also tell at which point it all went wrong. Frankly, this needs a better editor. At this point I am scared to even read the other story I was interested in. I didn't even finish this one. I read the first two chapters and the last just to see if the writing would get any better. It didn't. Seriously, Taylor Rylan isn't a bad writer at all so I wonder what the heck went wrong here.
I really liked this collection of stories. I would’ve liked a bit more action in the stories but maybe they’re building up to a final battle. I’ll guess I’ll find out after finishing the next box set. I liked that you meet the next alpha’s and omega’s that are eventually going to get a book but it may just not be their time to meet as yet. Like Forest, Orin, Linus, Gage & Aspen. I found that each book could’ve done with a few less s*x scenes as sometimes it felt like they were just added in to the story because they could be but didn’t really add to it and the stories would’ve been just as good without them all. Still great reads. I’d recommend this collection, series and author to everyone.
Accidentally deleted my review 9/17/23 But from what I remember, I really enjoyed the world building and the overall dynamics of the couples and the magic and all, what I didn't like were the over explanations for things. It just felt really, really drawn out and running on unnecessarily and almost like conflicts were bubbling for literally no reason. But I did enjoy it and it's not gonna stop me from going on to the next batch of books. :) Still Looking forward to seeing where the stories go.
I love box sets. This way you don’t have to leave the world after each book. I’ve read these before but they are a great re-read and with three in one set it was even better.
