Really ... that's it?

So ... I'm in 2 minds, 1. Thank you to the author for finishing the series and 2. Seriously, after such a long wait, that's it?
Book 5 feels like a token effort to finish the story. There was honestly no real development of adding the final 3 to the harem, it didn't even really happen, just hinted at.
And in relation to the storyline, this huge effort to put Mia in a seemingly impossible position, to it suddenly being over, no real good reason provided to explain why its over and then HEA for everyone, just like that. Hey, at least it's not a long read right?

My goodness where do I begin.

I was so pleased when this got released. I devoured it one sitting abs couldn’t even care.

I’ve lived Mia from book one and watching this story pan out and by this book I was feeling a little
Sad.

But this book blew that into so many other emotions.

I don’t want to give anything away but I
Will say this. Us females we rock!

This book picks up where the last book ended so the flow is really good.

We have Mia, still upset over Buck and Shawn but stepping up to put her issues aside to help Shawn.

Colt, with his awesomely sarcastic comments, just being Colt, who loves Mia and wants her to put herself first. And who wouldn’t get excited at the thought of a little Mia/Colt baby!! Not saying it happens but not saying it doesn’t 😉

Garret, such a dark horse. Just lingering in the background until the very end of the book when he decides to step up.

Cael and Reid! Completely grew on me. I love how they seem to know everyone’s secrets, and I was waiting, and kind of want more of, Reid being a sociopath. I just want Cael to let Reid loose to burn the world down.

So, the storyline. Is Mia Buck’s sister? We do find the answer to that at the end of the book, but to get there, there’s a huge emotional roller coaster. Mia’s mother manipulates her and trades her daughter to Bucks dad for financial gains. Mia’s uncle Matt, being protective and trying to save her and everyone around him. She’s the daughter he never had! Buck’s dad being an asshole and kidnapping Mia to play happy families. Mia doing what she does best, putting others ahead of herself, rescuing her own ass and being rescued in turn.

I feel like there should be a follow up book, maybe a novella that shows Reid tracking down Brandt 😂. And it would be great to see the progression of Buck and Shawns relationship from friends to lovers, that’s got to be more complicated than it sounds. Cael sounds like he would be the leader of the guys in how he’s always taking care of the details. It would be nice to see Mia being with all the guys individually and in a group. It would also be great to see them finish high school and see where the future takes them. Who’s going to be paying for all their education in the future...in Reid’s words...Daddy Cael? 😂 do they get a big house and all move in together? Did Shawn and Garret’s parents turn their back on both of them or support only Garret financially post high school and does Garret have anything to do with them considering the way they treat Shawn?

Aaaaahhhhhh

Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh

What the Frick?!?

What kind of ending is this Bullshnizzle?!?

There was absolutely no growth in any of the relationships and it’s hinted that she has 6 guys but she’s really only in a real relationship with one guy Colt. Has two on the side that are also together and their relationship never really got fixed and worked out. One of the other 3 has kissed her without permission a few times and she pushes him off every time, 1 has been nice to her but no relationship was mentioned and the other was so far in the background he’s only mentioned in passing but never really linked to her like that, but at the end she sees a LOOK on his face and adds him into her 6. And it just ends! She says she has 6 guys the end.

The incest brother arc that was thrown in there. *insert eyeroll* Oh and the big evil villain that must be handled is all taken care of in one chapter by a random character that was randomly thrown in at the end.

I’m over here spitting fire after finishing. My husband is looking at me in concern, asking me what’s wrong. Haha

I had a couple other books of this authors on my TBR list but they are now on my DNR list.

It took a really long time, and quite a few postponements of the estimated publishing date to get this book. Was it worth waiting for?

I have mixed feelings about that. I did like the direction the author took with the story, but it felt quite short and a bit unfinished.

I can only imagine the pressure that Ms. Strange must have been under to get this book out and I sympathize with her. I know there's an extended bonus epilogue due out soon via newsletter.

I really hate when authors do that. I get that they want email subscribers but I get enough emails I don't read now. Whether or not the bonus epilogue is worth the hassle remains to be seen.

I understand the author is already planning a rewrite due to complaints from readers. Not sure whether I will be interested in reading that or not at this point.

I personally think 3 stars is generous. And it was a reluctant 3 stars cause I was quite looking forward to this conclusion. But it feels like it was just published to get it out there for the sake of finishing. It was postponed SOOOOOOO MANY TIMES. And I wouldn't give a single shhhhhh if it was an epic conclusion....but it wasn't. The relationships didn't develop, the plot went a bit left field and guys were thrown in left right and centre with no build up or connection.

Rushed. It felt rushed and I'd much rather it have not been done at all if wasn't going to be done super well. It's a shame really. It had potential to be awesome

I am genuinely not sure how I feel.
Don't get me wrong it was crazy chaotic and awesome and hella messed up. Should also warn about *triggers * some might find it hard to read about A-holey dudes and abuse situations.
It felt very jam packed with the concluding story for Mia and her men. Im a little devo that it wasn't wrapped up nicely. Also there's soooooooo many questions that the last chapters left wide open.
I'm waiting to read the bonus epilogue available but I have a feeling I will still have questions.
Apart from that, I seriously loved this series and wish there were more!!!

I can't even!!

I have no words. I feel like this book wasn't even part of the series. It was good, but I have so many questions. I figured with it being the last book of the series, I would feel some sort of closure. The last two chapters confused the heck out of me. All the other chapters had me feeling like I was reading a different series. It was a good book, but it was lack luster to end a series I've been reading for 2 years.

This book felt so rushed.

This book had so many inconsistencies. I can deal with the small things that are missed but some of the things in this book made it feel like it was from a completely different author at times. The story didn't even feel the same. I love KT Strange and get writing but I didn't love book 5. I did give 3 stars because atleast the story does have closure now.

Disappointed reader

It was great until it ended at chapter 14 out of 32. I am so absolutely pissed off, I read books 1 through 4 and I was excited for the ending only to be left hanging with no way to read the whole book. I will never read a series by this author again.
Totally pissed off😠

I LOVED the first four books of this series. I have been waiting for this one.

I cannot even explain how disappointed I am that this is what we were given. It feels extremely rushed. It was put out just to finish off the sorry. It feels incomplete. There was no plot development. People were just thrown in. So much story missing from parts. This is nothing like the first four books.

Great series...until the end

I loved the series. It kept me turning the pages and wanting to read more and more..until the last book. Even two books. They felt rushed and I feel information and some important things were left out. I feel like maybe it rushed so readers werent waiting forever for them, but my opinion is readers will wait when the story is good.

Incomplete book

Where are chapters15,-33???? When I purchase a book I assume it's complete and not missing half of the book. I would have given a much higher rating if it was completed.

Very enjoyable great reading

I am glad that everything worked out for them and got everything worked out. Well at least Buck and her weren't really related and their half sister Delilah showed up and help sort things out.

Fantastic

I loved it, it was packed full of action and moved at such a fast pace.
Surprising ending, which came completely out of nowhere.
I wish it was longer, I’ve loved this series and I’m not ready to say goodbye just yet.

I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! 😉

I’m absolutely in love with this series. No joke. With Mia, Buck, Shawn and the rest...but I won’t lie. This book has a couple issues for me. It could be at least 100 pages longer. Ample opportunities to fully explore what’s going on in this story. It reads like an unedited novel. But if you can get by that, it’s a great backbone of a story. The characters and the entire series are wonderful and exciting and heartbreaking all at once. There’s a teaser at the end—and I hope that KTS gives us updates on what’s going on with Paige, Shiv, Boots and even Mia’s mom and Sarah. More from the surprise guest, too. (Sorry trying not to give spoilers)For me, this series could go on and on. I love these characters that much. So issues aside, I hope that you’ll give this series a chance and fall in love like I did. ❤️

Disappointed

I’m giving this book 3 stars because of the ending. How do end a series like that ? I really hope you either add to this book or write a novella or another book.

When I started this series I thought it had HUGE potential. As the series went along the story lines and relationships got so convoluted I began skimming. I read this last one because I wanted to closure and to see it all wrapped up. That didn't happen. I felt like the author lost the way somewhere after the 2nd book. Very disappointing.

Mind Blown

This series was amazing and you saved yourself at the last second Kat. I was screaming at that twist! I couldn't believe it and thankfully the ending was the resolve my heart needed. Loved this series so far hope there's more
