Three scorching hot romance thrillers from New York Times bestselling author, Pam Godwin: Deliver, Vanquish, and Disclaim.
Are you ready to fall in love with a villain?
Van Quiso’s chilling gunmetal eyes will shiver your blood and torment your heart. You’ll fear him and crave him, for behind the cruel mouth lurks a jealous, possessive devil who will sacrifice everything to protect the woman he loves.
Each standalone is a different couple with its own dark love story, all interconnected in a dangerous underworld of murderers, kidnappers, and cartels. Forget your comfort zones. This world isn’t pretty. But it’s oh-so-delicious and twisty.
With over 1000 pages of passion and suspense, this is your next binge read. No cliffhangers.
New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author, Pam Godwin, lives in the Midwest with her husband, cats, retired greyhounds, and an old, foul-mouthed parrot. She traveled the world for seven years, attended three universities, married the vocalist of her favorite rock band, and retired from her quantitative analyst career in 2014 to write full-time.
Her interests veer toward the unconventional: bourbon, full-body tattoos, and tragic villains. Equally peculiar are her aversions to sleeping, eating meat, and dolls with blinking eyes.
DELIVER Hurt People Hurt People and thus is the case of Liv Reed, she was enslaved and tortured into submission, she passes the favour along. Repaying the monster, she becomes a monster and reels in 16/17 year olds. "You will learn, practice, and become the "Twelve Requirements" demanded byMaster."
Her latest, Joshua Carter will end up breaking her instead. It's a messed up read, one I thoroughly enjoyed. 5 stars
VANQUISH Omg Van Quiso is my most beloved villain to hate and then hated myself cause I fell in love with him. Another 10 star book by Pam. In book 1 I hated Van Quiso, in book 2 I love him unabashedly That is the power of pam's writing. Van is a slave trader on a stalk trail of Liv and Joshua. He's obsessed with finding and connecting with a piece of his life and meets Amber Reed by accident. As their story moves forward, his story and quest takes a backseat to him wanting to fix her !! The passion and love and angst and his insecurity , all tug at my heart strings and Van redeems himself and how. A beautiful story , very tender ( in a dark book ?!?!!!) I'm so in love with Van This book grabs you from the first page and never let's go. So hold on tight . 5 stars
DISCLAIM Oh boy, hold on to your seats. This book goes further in Deliver and Vanquish series. The twists are many and revelations give you a whiplash ! Camila Is recovering , from Van Quiso and her slavery days. She's haunted by a love lost . Matias and her spent countless sunny days in the orange grove back when they were teenagers, untouched by cruel world. They were lost in themselves, lost to the world, having just discovered lust and love. But he leaves, and she stands alone in the Grove with sickly sweet ripening oranges, and then her life rots too. She's sold and stays with Van for a year, where she breaks down completely. this book is her journey in the aftermath. Recovery. Revenge. Removal. she's on a mission . Actually it's her only religion left now. That and Matias, who's fast becoming her phantom saviour. the story is a thrilling ride, I was supposed to find faults....but I failed !! It's a perfect story. Watch out for the hot AF sex scene in the Grove Nico plays an important role. I want more Frizz he's like a story waiting to be told !! 5 stars
Are you ready to fall in love with a villain? 🖤 Three scorching hot romance thrillers: Deliver, Vanquish, and Disclaim 🖤 1000+ pages of passion and suspense 🖤 More than 200,000 copies sold and thousands of 5-star reviews 🖤 No cliffhangers 🖤 Available in digital, print, and audiobook
First of all, if you haven't read this series yet, it's time to crawl out from under that rock you've been living under and see the light. Because this series is LIFE CHANGING. No one, and I mean NO ONE writes a redeemable anti-hero quite like Pam Godwin. They're beyond anti-heroes, they're straight out villains that you grow to love despite their darkness. Or is it because of their darkness? I don't know and I don't care, but I will say that this series is an absolute must read.
If you haven't read it yet, now is the chance to get the first three books in one bundle. These are not meant to be read as standalone. You really need to do yourself a favor and read them in order. The characters are all introduced early in the series, so to understand the complexity, it's best to read each book.
Deliver starts the series with a bang, and we get an anti-heroine. How often do you read that? And nothing will prepare you for the story of Van and Matias. GAH. I loved those books.
If you want to read my full detailed reviews you can find them here: VANQUISH DISCLAIM
Now do yourself a favor and jump on these!
ARC courtesy of author in exchange for an honest review
Deliver is one heck of a book, the twist and turn, the unpredictability of each character(Van, Liv & Josh) on what they will do next, will keep you on turning pages! I loved it! Abduction, sex slave/trafficking, scorching sexy scene, it's all here and if you're not comfortable with those, this is not the book for you. When it comes to dark romance, definitely Pam Godwin tops my list!!!
Review for Vanquish
Van is the man you love to hate. Vanquish is his story. He's mean, creepy, and scary most of the time. But everything changes when he met Amber, who's struggling to overcome her inner demon. They complete each other actually and this is where Van becomes the man who redeemed himself. Amazing read!
Review for Disclaim
Pam Godwin delivers another brilliant book with an unexpected twist and turns that kept me glued to the story.
Each story was well-written. Leave it to Pam Godwin to make you fall in love with her dark, twisted character. If you haven't met yet these characters, I highly recommend starting this series now! Wonderful series!
This was not an easy read. It made me uncomfortable, made me question what I would do in the situation and made me fall in love with characters that I should find reprehensible but I found them endearing and lovable. It was a wild journey but I enjoyed every minute of it.
Vanquish - Rated 4.5 Stars
Vanquish is not a typical love story. It's quite disturbing and yet beautiful at the same time. I must admit that I wasn't a fan of Van Quiso at all in Deliver but he grew on me in this one while I can't say I love him I can say I empathize with him and like him a smidgen. Kudos to the author for redeeming him a bit in my eyes cause I seriously disliked that motherfucker but in this book I say a different side of him, a human side that I quite liked. As for the heroine I loved that even though she had debilitating phobias she was still strong and held her own against Van.
I definitely recommend it. It's dark and delicious.
Disclaim - 4 Stars
Disclaim is a dark friends to lovers and second chance romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved how fierce and badass the heroine was and how dominant the hero was. I loved going on this twisty journey with these characters and can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Deliver Us contains the first three books in Pam Godwin’s Deliver series – Deliver, Vanquish, and Disclaim – and I have rather mixed feelings about the series. It was an addictive read, but there were certain elements of the storylines I found difficult to connect to.
In truth, I think I would have enjoyed these books a lot more if I had read them a few years ago. The storylines are addictive and suck you in, but the work I do makes it extremely difficult to get behind these kinds of storylines. I spend too much of my time picking things apart, noting on things that are too far from reality, and compare them with the things I have seen at work. Due to this, I’m pushed out of the storyline more than I should be and lose some of the impact of the story. This, however, is simply a result of working making it hard to enjoy these storylines when I know the reality and does not take away from the fact the author has created an addictive series.
Although this ended up being not quite for me, I was addicted and can certainly see the appeal of the series. I’ll certainly be giving more Pam Godwin books a read in the future, as I’m curious to see what else the author has to offer.
Pitch Black cannot even cover the darkness the books in the series provides.
I have always been fascinated with dark, gritty read and Finally I found one where the line between reality and fantasy have blurred and have left me with this twisted thoughts. All the three books in the series are for three different couples interconnected from the same dangerous world.
No cliffhanger...and guys that's such a relief like all the books ends with a satisfying ending, no matter how much pain, heart breaks and tears are shed in between. The author has truly painted an amazing world with so much dangerous plots and twisted that you will be at the edge of your seat the whole time.
The book also has bdsm themes, some triggers too.
I just don't know how I haven't gave this series a chance before and also there are more books from the same world to binge on aside from these three...So Happy Reading my fellow dark Lovers.. READ this...it will surely satisfy your craving for such genre...Erotica to the best level possible.
I must admit I have already read every single book in this series - some of them a couple of times. I know how intense, riveting and thrilling each and everyone of these three books are. So to get them bundled like this for only $.99 is more than a bargain it is a steal! This entire series is awesome! Pam Godwin's writing is incomparable and she delivers dark deliciousness in this 3 book bundle from beginning to end. Every scene and chapter is delivered with intentionality and not a word is superfluous.
The first story of the series sets the tone for the rest of them but they each feature a different couple that get a guaranteed HEA. Even though they get their HEA it is a hard won and dangerous road to it for most of them. Nothing comes easily for them as they all carry emotional wounds from their past that have not healed.
VANQUISH:
My favorite book of the series is book 2 Vanquish. It features the "villain" of the first book Deliver. It is hard to wrap your mind around rooting for such a man as Vanquiso. He is the perpetrator of such heinous crimes in the first book you can't imagine any kind of redemption for him. And yet... there is a certain dark attraction that you can't help but have for him - fatal attraction or sympathy for the devil? It is hard to define but you just know that he has been hurt and wounded in his past. There has to be a reason for him being such a "monster" who was involved in the selling of humans. Vanquish fills those cracks in Vanquiso's origin story and leaves you emotionally spent.
With a past like Vanquiso's it is no wonder that we find him attracted to another person with a painful past. A woman so broken and damaged that she can't even leave her home = Amber. This unfortunate scenario allows Vanquiso to invade not only her home but her heart and soul. There's is not an easy "courtship" - if we are redefining the word courtship as an euphemism for triage in the middle of war zone. As is his nature, Vanquiso does nothing gently when he wants something and he wants Amber. He manipulates her, abuses her sexually and emotionally and takes and takes and takes everything she has to give and everything she doesn't. We learn about her wounds, the scars that never healed and the pain that still lingers in her. He brings it all out and deconstructs her body, mind heart and soul. And yet... he also begins the process of healing and putting her scarred pieces back together again.
Vanquiso and Amber's relationship is far from conventional. So disturbing at times it is hard to read but it is also a beautiful wreckage to behold .
Vanquish and all of the books of the Deliver series have plenty of triggers, so don't enter lightly (noncon, sexual assault, sex trafficking, physical abuse) But if you are a fan of dark romance, that delivers antiheroes and villains that do questionable, objectional and downright wicked things and yet somehow find a bit of redemption in the power of love, then you will love Vanquish and the entire series as much as I do.
A MUST-HAVE START TO AN INCOMPARABLE SERIES -- DELIVER, VANQUISH AND DISCLAIM WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!
[Wrote this review 2 months ago and forgot to post it!] NO ONE writes dark, flip-twisty, sensual, suspenseful, erotic, compelling, and smart stories that always throw the reader for a loop like Pam Godwin. And she doesn't shy away from heart-palpitating action either. I've been a die-hard fan since Deliver (the first book in the outstanding Deliver series), and have been hooked on every one of her books ever since. Pun fully intended, but this author ALWAYS DELIVERS! No hints, no teasers, no spoilers. You've probably heard of this series or already read it. Either way, dive in completely blind and experience this author's mastery of storytelling.
SHE TAKES ME TO PLACES I'VE NEVER BEEN IN WAYS I CAN'T IMAGINE WITH CHARACTERS I'VE NEVER KNOWN AND MAKES ME LOVE THEM FOR WHO OR WHAT THEY ARE, GOOD OR BAD -- NO MATTER HOW UNCONVENTIONAL, DEPRAVED, DARK, OR UNUSUAL THE STORIES MAY BE.
This trio of the first 3 books in the infamous and wildly popular Deliver series set the tone for the entire series and all the books/couples flow from this point forward. Though interconnected, the books are ALL STANDALONES and can be enjoyed without reading the others because PG has done such a masterful job at filling in whatever blanks we need to know in each novel to fully grasp what came before. You will not be left in the dark. But, I dare you not to read the entire series -- it's like eating one cookie or one potato chip. Impossible.
Because Deliver was the first book of the series that rocked my world, knocked my socks off, blew my mind, and drew me into the well-written, emotionally satisfying and plot-driven world of dark and suspenseful erotica, MCs Joshua Carter and "Deliverer" Liv will forever by my ultimate faves that started it all. But, as each book in the series unfolds even more of this intricate and compelling world, I've loved all the books and couples in their own deserving ways and I can't recommend the series highly enough. For most, selecting a fave book/couple is nearly impossible.
Deliver, Vanquish and Disclaim won't be enough, and should make you anxious to devour the rest of the series and realize why Pam Godwin is considered such a grand master of the dark/erotica/BDSM genre. If you know Pam and don't own this set, snatch it up now. If you've never experienced the wonder of her brilliant writing, this is your chance to embrace some dark and deliciously unexplored corners with unique characters and stories that will light you on fire. I promise.
"Deliver Us" is the collection of first three books of the "Deliver" series by Pam Godwin. Told in Multiple perspectives , this book had me hooked right from the first page to the very last one!
I have always been a die hard fan of this author and the way she bends her storyline to give us the darkest tales with the most ruthless anti heroes is my new addiction to read! Her heroes are undeniably dark and there is no chance that you won't end up loving them for it by the end of the book. That is what makes her books perfect for a villian loving freak like me.
I was one of those stupid people who haven't read this Series , so this boxset was a golden opportunity for me to read this best selling books! Each one was better than the last and the dark aspects of these books was the best! The first book of the story has an anti heroine and the next two books have something else entirely. The plots of the stories are somehow connected and we're enjoyable to me when I read them in order.
All these books had dark aspects like revenge , slavery and power play and I am absolutely addicted to that. If you haven't read this Series until now , then just run off and read this ASAP! meanwhile I will go and read the other books of this series since I can't just stop reading this!
DELIVER: I don't really even know where to start on reviewing this book. The horrible things that happened because of one person's craziness is well crazy. I started this book yesterday and just finished it today. I couldn't stop reading and the twist that I didn't see coming were awesome!! This book will pull at your heartstrings but maybe by the end of the book your strings will all be perfectly aligned.
VANQUISH Ohhhh goodness anyone that reads my reviews knows that I love a good dark messed up read. This is one of those, in the first book I didn't really like Van but in this book he shows he can love. It may be a messed up how he came about this love but damn I'm so happy for him. Amber was a strong messed up person but I loved her. She was just what Van needed as much as Van was just what she needed. All together a dark, messed up, wonderful book !!!! Thank you Pam Godwin for letting me read and continue this journey !!!
DISCLAIM I loved this book, it isn't as dark as the others but damn I am a huge fan of Matias with his pure devotion to everything that means something to him. Camila is wonderful and bad ass especially after what she went through with Van. ! So many people in this book I wish would get their own story. Frizz broke my heart. Once again Pam has delivered another great story. Thank you for letting me read another one of your stories !!!
The first three books in a series that will have salivating and begging for more. Deliciously dark thanks to the very talented Ms Godwin who never holds back when it comes to give the readers what we really need even when we don’t know what that is... she’ll do the hard job all you need to do is grab this beauty and say bye to society.
******All three books are standalone and don’t end on a cliffhanger, each books depicts a different couple******
Deliver: book one sets the vibe for what is going to be the best journey of your life
Vanquish: forget anti heroes Van is the farthest from anything remotely close to an anti hero and yet... this talented author will make you root for him and wish him his twisted HAE
Disclaim: by this point you’re already sold to this captivating world and if you think this third book will satisfy your hunger you’re sorely mistaken, yes this might be the end for now but... there is more to come, to see, to feel...
An excellent trilogy if you like dark romances. The first book is pretty confronting. They involve human trafficking, submission, BDSM, erotic sex scenes, no consent, murder, drugs, torture, cartels, etc.
I read these books over the last few months, (finished book 3 today), and there are several more in the series. I'd advise to read them in order, as there is a human trafficking/vigilante backstory that continues. Each book does stand alone re the H/h but it makes more sense to understand these characters from book one.
First 2 books I gave 4 stars and book three 5 stars. So as an overall read, excellent. But very dark and disturbing.
Deliver series by Pam Godwin is definitely the darkest and most twisted romance series I have read so far. This series evoked such an intoxicating, thrilling and captivating mix of emotions in my heart. Obsessed and addicted doesn't cover anything.
Though each story deals with a separate couple, I will suggest you read them serially else you will miss important details and it's necessary to understand the complex dynamics among the characters. This box set contains book 1 to 3. The complete series has 9 books.
🖤DELIVER: LIV AND JOSH🖤
I thought I can take on any kind of dark romance and I take pride on my dark romance love. But Deliver by Pam Godwin made me do a double take. Because this story was another level of twisted and f***ed up. My heart is so raw and broken and everything. And I am unravelling. Dub con, non con, bdsm, erotic, stalker, stockholm syndrome, sex slavery, suspense, action- it was an enthralling and depraved mix. Liv has kidnapped popular local linebacker Joshua Carter to train into sexual slavery and sell him to buyer. She is trapped into this never ending nightmare herself and she is doing whatever she needs to survive. But Josh is nothing like her previous assignments. Who will break whom? This is a truly shocking tale of hope and redemption that stunned me speechless. Please read the trigger warning because this story is not for weak hearted. It took out everything of my heart. Perverse. Dangerous. Intoxicating.
🖤VANQUISH : VAN AND AMBER🖤
Can villains be redeemed? To what extent you can forgive someone and love someone beyond their mistakes? Vanquish made me ask all the questions and I cannot say I have all the answers. Van Quiso have done many cruel and vile things in his life. Sex slavery ringleader. Kidnapper. Murderer. Destroyer of innocent lives. He is a bad guy. Broken, twisted and beyond all hope. But every dark soul has a chance. And Amber may be his. The woman so deep in self deprecation, anxiety and phobia that she has restricted herself in her house. Van wants to fix her by breaking her and Amber will be his salvation. I cannot tell you how enthralling and crooked this storytelling is. Violent. Raw. Volatile. Angsty. Torturing. This also has distinct bdsm edge with mind games in plenty. Pam Godwin has woven a messy, dramatic and debauchd tale of two flawed souls finding love.
🖤DISCLAIM : MATIAS AND CAMILA🖤
My head is still reeling and I am wondering how many twisted situations I will go through in Deliver series. Pam Godwin's genius really knows no bound. Disclaim is the story of a fierce woman who was once slaved and now on the crusade to end human trafficking. Disclaim is the story of a dark, violent and dangerous Capo of the most powerful cartel. Disclaim is the story of how these two lives clash and fireworks begin. I think this is the most depraved and insanley dark second chance romance with star crossed lovers I have ever read. Matias needs Camila to accept him with all his demons. Camila needs to accept her own perverse desires. They are no longer the sweet childhood friends. Years of suffering, pain, lies, deception and cruelty have changed them but haven't broken their connection. It was a whirlwind journey of mind games, dominace and submission and dramatic emotions. I am getting consumed whole by this series and I want more and more.
If you are a dark romance addict like me, Deliver series should be The Must Read series for you. Pam Godwin's writing has created such a mindblowing world that broke me and claimed me.
This series is unbelievable, & not for the faint of heart.
Kicking off with book one where one MC, Liv, is a Captor in a human tracking operation, it was hard to imagine how things would evolve into the HEA Pam gives without feeling icky. I should have known better though than to underestimate Pam. This series IMO showcases her writing talent unlike any other.
Morally grey isn’t a new concept, but the redeeming of characters who are seemingly morally black? I can’t believe it. There were characters, one or two in particular, in this series that involved in such brutality it shouldn’t have been possible. Not only did Pam redeem them, she made me love them. Root for them.
From books 1 & 2, the series continues in stand alones that follow the group of Freedom Fighters, survivors who have banded together to fight the very thing they once fell victim to. The situations & people they have to be are far from the good, heroic MCs. But that’s what they are.
Can’t recommend enough. These books are grouped by 3 in Audible, which was a treat for one credit. I loved it. Waiting to buy the hard copies because they absolutely need to be on my bookshelf.
Deliver 5 stars Oh my, this book is brutal. There’s definitely no holds barred here. This is my first book by this author and I’m looking forward to the next! Great performance.
Vanquish 5 stars This book is brilliant. It really gets you thinking about different perspectives. Pam has written an absolutely fantastic storyline here, as well as incorporating the strong characters that she has built over the last book. I can’t get enough of these characters and the unique situation they find themselves in. A fantastic performance from both narrators.
Disclaim 5 stars Oh, I didn’t see that massive twist coming! This series is brilliant. I’m absolutely hooked. These characters are so complex and likeable. These books are not for the faint of heart. They are raw, brutal and harsh. Pam has written them so well.
What can I say - 3 dark and twisted captive books with their own spin. Book 1 is the story of Liv slave turned Deliverer and what happens when she takes slave 9, with an ulterior motive for herself. Book 2 is the captor story - hard to love him because of what he did to the others and there are moments in this book where his methods are out of the box. In the final book of the box set, we have the second slave taken and the story of the boy who has never stopped loving her and the depths of twisted he's sunk in ensuring he finally gets her back.
All linked and looking forward to reading the rest, but going to go and read something a bit lighter first.
This is a intense dark gritty romance it’s almost pitch black and I can’t believe I waited this long before I read anything by this author! Her writing is phenomenal! Each story is unique and deliciously dark and twisted but all the stories are interconnected. I loved each set of characters and there journey they had to take to get to their happily ever after . This is a definite must read for any dark romance lovers . Brilliantly written each story has a addictive storyline about the sex trafficking industry I can’t say enough about this box set grab it now for only 99¢ ! Totally worth it!
This series I will admit I was unsure of starting. Its dark gritty and I wasn't sure where it was going to go. I'm glad I took the chance, but if you want an intense ride I highly recommend this book/series in order. There is a story arc but I have yet have tired of any of the books I have read and I've read all the books to date (there will be nine). I love how diverse the cast is as well. This is a great deal!
🖤 Overall, this serious is dark, has twists and turns, drama, action, and filthy hot sex that keeps me reading the next book. I’m quite invested in the depravity of this world Pam Godwin has built.
I’m obsessed with this dark and addicting series. Each book sucks you in in a different way and leaves you craving more. This is a perfect set if you truly dark without many triggers
My god, I don't know where to start with this one this was one riveting read, that was dark, edgy, gritty, heart-wrenching had amazing characters and so much more. This is a first-time author for us, and we absolutely loved our first read by them. How does an author make us love the villains? Well in this story she did just that.
This 3 part book series moves up to my top favorite #1 reads for 2020.
Van is a villain you loved to hate he is dark, broken, insane, kinky, possessive, a monster but, his heart is not all dark and twisty he has the capacity to love, and he is capable of change and craves redemption. His story with his captive Liv and his victim/captive turned lover Amber were both compelling stories both so heart wrenching but, both so different.
My heart broke for Liv from the moment were learned of her capture and imprisonment for what she was forced to do and had to endure in order to survive and protect and the reasons she did what she had to do but, she was also and survivor and savior. Camila's and Joshua's love story was an unusual one but, from the moment they met we always felt the connection that was between them a pull that would not be denied. Soulmates found in the depths of hell and one man willing to sacrifice all in order to save the women that he has come to love.
Van and Amber's story was just as compelling it was shocking and heart-pounding. In this story, Van's possessive obsession with Camila leads him on a healing path for both himself and Amber, and he would find the one woman who would turn out to be his savior and turn his life upside down. Without giving away the story and by the time it ended the story had our heartbreaking for these characters but, it also had you believing that Van's dominance and his darkness and his kink and his sure determination were the only things that we're going to cure what ails Amber in order make her whole once again.
I loved that the author dove into their pasts with such depth and painstakingly honesty it was raw and hard to take in but, it touched on the emotions of the reader as well and made you feel their fears of rejection and their insecurities but, their hope of acceptance and love. We loved how Van was brutally honest and real with Amber and never tried to hide the darkness within him. Could we see them as a couple from the beginning? The answer is yes because nothing less than love would set them free... That and a sadistic bastard lol
Out of all these stories, the one we loved the most was Matías and Camilla's tale, and the depth of love and devotion between this couple and trust this couple had between them was heartfelt and swoon-worthy. I loved that Camilla was always at the forefront of Matias's mind being concerned with her safety and her happiness and welfare and how proud of her he was for her wanting to change the world and in turn, used the things that she learned from her horrific past to make a difference. Frizz was one of those characters that you wanted to uncover all his secrets. The story was full of love and devotion and was very suspenseful and compelling and had some amazing surprises yet still dark and twisty all the while had you trying to figure out what Matia's end game was and all his secrets. A love lost and one found. Our kind of read...
Overall the characters were all awesome and loveable and even the villains made you fall in love with them. All the stories were heartfelt, heart-wrenching, beautifully tragic, and filled with a ton of emotion. A dark and gritty tale that makes you uncomfortable has you on edge and was highly intriguing and it was full of triggers for most but, one you could not put down and not only that had you craving all the darkness the resided within these men that only they were capable of giving.
Fantastic Read! Highly recommended if you love dark romance! Can't wait to read Tate's story next!
1. Deliver Another reason to love Pam Godwin Dark, intense, steamy, scary, page turner, plot twist and sweet HEA Deliver is all i have expected and yet the plot twist definitly Pam's signature that just keep you on your toes. Another hit from this author cemented my love for her words. This is the first time I read about a woman captor and a virgin boy being captive. Interesting how Pam pull her twisted plot. I trust Pam on how she gonna write her dark with HEA ending, and this book doesn't dissapointed. May it be a different version of HEA than normal people would.
2. Vanguish One thing about Pam's writing is captivating. She won't let you go until finish and even then you would still sit there and WTF of what you just read. Vanguish is dark romance with lots of trigger warning. Rape, kidnap, violant sex and details steamy scenes. I warn you, if your stomach couldn't handle the trigger warning, don't ever try reading it. No, when i meet Van in Deliver, i know he is not that evil as depicted in Deliver. Or atleast until he meet the right person. The right dol that even after he broke in, she wouldn't be destroy. And he find all that in Amber. An agorophobia, OCD, bulemic etc ex pageant queen. A true warrior who just a little nudge to conquer all of her fear. Or so he thinks. The problem is the way Ms. Godwin potrait how Van's work to break Amber so he can have her again. I'll say its unbelievable in life and waaay too risque. Van being a Master and push her and push her, i'm afraid i have to question that. I love their chemistry tho. I love how clean and flowing the story are. But i must say i love how Ms. Godwin didn't "cure" Amber in a month of her time with Van. It would be too magical. I love how it took time for Amber to be brave. To do it for her self. To learn in the most scary and painfull way. To fight her demon. And Van...i love how he let her go cause he love her. Love how he prove him self worthy for her. Love how Van let him self vulnerable to love and be love. Over all, i love Ms. Godwin woven her dark twisted enchanting words
3. Disclaim Warning: its a dark with trigger warning, so beware. Disclaim is part of a series. Its not cliffy cause it have different couple in every book, but definitly got to read from the first book to understand certaint part in every book.
And for Disclaim, i have to say between Josh, Van and Matias, i would choose Matias. He is a real bad boy. He is that kinda man who will go all the way to get what he want. No matter what, including takes lifes. He is that kinda man who will stand behind you to protect you, stay beside you to love you, stay above you to dominate you.
In a word, Matias is Da'Man!
While Camilla.... Oh how i love the survivors in this series. Liv, Amber and Camilla is amazing woman simply because they survive. In Disclaim, Camilla is doing everything she can to face her demon. Destroying slave ring is her life. So when a plan gone wrong, When the slave ring she entered as bait turn to bite her and treat her freedom once again, when the love of her innocent life turn out to be the demon she swear to kill all this time....Camilla have bare her teeth and destroy her demon.
But what if what you see is not always the reality?
But what if once you fall in love with a monster, you no longer fear them, instead you crave them?
Deliciously dark, once again Disclaim prove how Pam Godwin is my queen of darkness! (
As this series is coming to an end in March of 2021.. I decided that I needed a refresher of Deliver and Oh my gah, this book brought forth so many fond memories of Josh.
While touching on the basis of human sex trafficking, Pam introduced me to a whole new level of antiheroes. Liv has lived the passed seven years in fear by being controlled by her partner-in-crime, Van and their mysterious overlord. Trafficking humans to meet the demands of a buyer keeps her family safe, but her world is turned upside down by the capture of her latest victim.
Josh is a well-known college football player who is saving himself, on behalf of his parents, for a lifelong commitment to the lord. It just so happens that his virginity doesn’t go unnoticed, and his innocent and well defined features capture the attention of Liv Reed.
My head is still soaring from all the love and redemption that this story held. I expected to be emotionally destroyed by the captivity, rape and abuse, but there was so much more that overweighed the trauma and kept me holding out for hope. Expect to be pushed to your limits and rattled to your core, because Pam blew my mind with this book that I didn’t even see the plot twist coming during my first go around. You’ll need to read these books in order to get a full understanding of the other installments. Quite honestly, I’m glad I didn’t miss out on this riveting and suspenseful read and I’m ready to jump head first into Vanquish, which picks up on the continuation of this story. Don’t worry, guys.. you’ll be happy to know that there isn’t a cliffhanger. You still get an HEA to look forward to with each book in the series.
I listened to the audiobook along with my reread and the experience was so much more surreal. Abby Craden and Teddy Hamilton put on a fabulous performance and I highly recommend these narrators for future reference.
To put the cherry on top, you can download this book for free. So one-click this book right now for a knock-you-off-your-feet experience.
**Beware of the triggers, this book may or may not be for you.**
These books tackle the everyday horrors of what we see/read in the news and some what some people live through.. sex trafficking. Finding love after living through such trauma and rising above it is what drove me to want to read this series. They go to a dark place and even through a work of fiction, I want to find my escape. If you love reading about romance and have the stomach to read through the triggers, then pick this collection up. I love that Pam grouped the first 3 books in the Deliver series together, because once I started, I couldn’t stop.
These narrators did a fantastic job bringing these books to life. As the stories are emotionally driven, I experienced so many emotions listening to each of these books. Some of the narrators are new to me and I was overtaken by their work. I love that each book and character had a different voice as it provided a means to differentiate each character.
Now on to listen and read to the next three books in From Evil!
It's taking me a really long time to pick up any of Pam's books. Everyone on IG recommends her all the time. My friends Amy @booknerd.oz and Adriana @bookswithbrinne love her so I thought I would give Dark Notes a go first. I absolutely loved that book. So i thought I would binge more of Pam's books. I am so happy I did. I honestly thought they would be too dark for me. With the triggers, I normally stay away from books where people are badly abused. These books are written in a way that make you feel so uneasy but as the story develops your opinion changes right away. They are gripping. There are so many twist, the suspense was killing me in each book. All three books were thrilling. I love reading book on human trafficking. I've read many and this series so far is one of the best I've read.
I LOVE that each book is connected, all the characters are connected in some way. But these stories are different. Not boring, completely different from each other.
Book 1 Deliver - Joshua and Liv. This book shocked me as it was the first in the series. Made me feel so uncomfortable and uneasy. Onced I got used to the way Pam writes I felt more comfortable. Amazing first book in the series. I won't lie I didn't like Van at all in this book.
'You're going to hell.' "Oh, good. I was worried you'd be there without me."
Book 2 Vanquish - Wow wow wow. F**king brillant. I hated Van he is an ugly man (personality wise). I do not think that anymore. He comes across so ruthless and evil in the first book but omg he stole my heart. Once you know him you fall in love. Amber, one of my favorite ladies ever. I have never read anyone like her. She is truly amazing. I absolutely loved reading about someone with OCD and Agoraphobia. very interesting. Felt very real. She was crazy, funny, strong literally off her head and I loved her.
"Amber was probably the kind of girl who would leave bite marks all over you dick." LOL. love her a lot.!!!
Book 3 Disclaim - So this book is probably my favorite so far. Only because it involves the cartel and obvs mafia books are my favorites go to reads. I'm normally good at knowing what's going to happen in a good. This one I had no clue I was so stocked with the big twist. Matias is everything. I couldn't believe he was the boss I can't believe I didn't realise LOL. Him and Camila together was so hot. I loved that she was unsure of her feelings and needs. and he made her see her true self after everything she's been through.
"She was a powerless woman beneath a powerful man."
I hope I didn't give too much a way. If you haven't read this series go and read it. Today I will start book 4. Tates book.
I do have to mention the prices of this series. You can read and buy them individually but it's expensive. That's why I bought both boxset. This way is cheaper. I still think there expensive but worth it.
This series is one of my top favorite dark romance series EVER!!!

DISCLAIM
God… what this book did to me!! I’m afraid to even write this review, knowing I will not find the right words to do this story justice, to adequately describe what Mathias and Camila made me feel. I gasped so many times, cried my eyes out even more, shook my head on countless occasions and just couldn’t put my Kindle down. This book gave me goosebumps. OMG! All those feels!
And when I came to the end…? I had troubles keeping myself from sobbing and crying ugly tears, because it was over – I don’t think this has ever happened to me before. There also are not many books out there where I wish I could read them for the first time again. This… this book… I want to read it again and again, and I don’t think it would ever get old – although there is no such thing as reading a story twice for the first time.
DISCLAIM is dark – on a physical level as well as on an emotional one. Cartels, human slavery – and a heroine and a hero that emotionally drained not only each other but me as well. The past those two shared – the obstacles they have to cross to find their way… It is insane.
And Mathias…? Don’t get me started! What an exceptionally multi-layered character. Wow! He is cruel, deeply involved in the crime scene – and has more secrets than anyone would care to count. The one man Camila could never forget.
Camila herself is one hell of a heroine. She is strong, she has backbone and she is willing to risk her own freedom to slay the human trafficking. Which is absolutely remarkable, seeing that she herself had been captured and was held as a slave in the past. Now she infiltrates another human trafficking organization, wanting to take the scum down. She knows how to behave as a slave, she knows what to expect in this world and she knows that she has darker cravings than most. Camila battles with herself, trying to find acceptance – not only in the world but of herself. That she stumbles right into Mathias’ hands – the man she could never forget – will it be her saving or her downfall?
For any lover of the darker side of romance, this book is a must! The characters as well as the action and intrigue in this book do really pack a punch! It’s been over a week since I finished reading and yet my mind keeps wandering back, incapable – or unwilling – to truly concentrate on a new story. When I think long enough, I am still getting goosebumps.
This book, as the rest of the series, will be enthroned on my paperback shelf. And it is destined for many, many rereads. Pam Godwin, thank you for this gem of a dark and out-of-the-norm love story!
I first started this series 2 years ago when the first 4 books were available and I loved the fact that I could binge read them. The series will be finishing up this year, but since each book focuses on a different character that are all intertwined by their connection to Van Quiso you can read without fear of cliffhangers. These stories are a bit hard to read since they focus on human trafficking, but trust me that there are some very good characters in these dark tales.
DELIVER is the story of Liv and how she captures and trains Josh to deliver him to his buyer in the condition that is contracted. He is able to see that there is something inside of her that if he could just break down her walls, they could have a connection. It was dark, twisted and emotionally draining, but I loved it and wanted more.
VANQUISH is where we really learn why Van did what he did in Deliver. We got a taste of it at the end of Deliver, but this really goes back to his past and allows you to love this broken man. Amber is captured in a different way and I adored the way Van was able to connect with her. Again, there are some very dark parts of this story, but it was an awesome read.
DISCLAIM is where we meet Camila, the first one that Liv worked with and the one that was able to help Liv with her secret plan. Camila is driven to end trafficking and to take down the next ring she inserts herself in the middle, but it turns out that her captor knew her plan all along. What will he end up doing to her when she is in his control? This was probably my favorite so far. I loved the way Matias was dark and yet he was light at the same time. It is amazing how the author is able to make you love these dark and twisted characters.
When I read these books the first time, I went so fast I forgot to review the first two in the series because I was so anxious and excited to get to book three! Now, here we are, all this time later, and while I remember and love the series...my review is going to give you a little taste of Disclaim because that is the only book I can recall through review.
I will say this; these books are amazing. This series is unbelievable and absolutely captivating. The intrigue from the very first book grabs you by the collar and hooks deep within your soul. I cannot wait to hold this new and beautiful bundle cover in my hot little hands because the outside is just as gorgeous as the writing is inside. I cannot wait for everyone to read Deliver Us: Book 1-3. You'll be begging for the next installments when you've finished.
Disclaim snippit review:
Kneel for me...give me the power to break you...trust that I won't."
In this book, nothing is what it seems. And yet, it's exactly how it should be. If that makes any sense at all...Godwin takes us on an unforgettable ride with this series, finishing us off in a deliciously raw way. One that takes us to the beginning and blows us up in the end. I had to read these books without stopping--I couldn't be distracted with other words, because this book, this series, had taken over every thought, every second, every minute my eyes would cooperate. It's twisted and gritty, and nothing like I've read before. This book held a spot all its own with two people who find their way back to each other and go to war. The question you want to be answered is: at war with who?
Pam Godwin’s Deliver, Vanquish, and Disclaim are dark, edgy, and suspenseful reads, masterfully taking us into those dark places where fears and desires merge, and leaving us breathless and reeling in the best possible way.
While set in a world where cruelty and depravity reign master, the pain, desperation, terror and heartbreak are intricately tangled with sensuality—the romance between each of our three couples is all-consuming love and sinful passion riding instinct in a potent, oh-so-seductive combination.
Deliver Us is the gorgeous binding of the first three books in the Deliver series, giving us three spellbinding couples and three tumultuous, yet epic love stories that are entirely enthralling in all of their iniquity, and will leave readers craving more of Ms. Godwin’s dark tales.
