English Historian, Sabrina Michaels travels to a Chateau in the Lorie Valley, France to interview handsome French Billionaire Raoul Valoire about his famous ancestor. She has a strong feeling of déjà vu when she arrives as though she has been there before and more strangely, that the handsome Billionaire has made love to her in the past. Raoul is attentive, seemingly enjoying provoking these strange memories.
He abruptly lays claim to her as his long-lost wife who disappeared from the Chateau after a masked ball ten years ago, the exact same time when Sabrina woke up in a hospital with no memory of the dark events that occurred. The Billionaire is determined to make his beautiful wife return to his bed and remember the vows she made to him as he fiercely protects her from the violent man who strives to take her from him again.
He will remind her she belongs to him and no one else even if it means confining her in the Chateau until she surrenders to him once more.

This book has been published and re-published as Conquering Sabrina so many times that I've lost count. How much contempt must an author and a company have for their readers that they can't even be bothered to provide a disclaimer in the blurb? (Note that it's categorized under "New Releases.")
This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Sabrina goes to France to interview billionaire Raoul. While at his home she has a sense of déjà vu when he is around. He finally claims that she his long-lost wife who disappeared ten years ago the exact same time Sabrina woke up in a hospital with no memory. Raoul plans to keep her until she can remember who she really is, his. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and intrigue. Great characters with lots of depth and intense chemistry. I loved it!
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.
A simply riveting read from start to finish, Imagine Raoul and the true belief he had that his much-loved wife was still alive even though she had been missing for over ten years, he had even been accused of her murder with the lake surrounding his home actually being dragged to prove her body had not been hidden there. Sabrina Michaels had no recollection of anything that had happened to her ten years ago when she had woken up in a hospital in England, she had been badly beaten and had obviously also been raped but other than these few facts she had not been able to recollect any more. When she had arrived at the beautiful chateau, she had a strange feeling of deja vu, even feeling a certain amount of safety when she was in the company of the owner who she had agreed to visit to oversee some important historical papers, this was something she excelled at and loved tracing the heritage of families all around the world. Now that the couple have bee reunited and Sabrina has started to slowly regain bits and pieces about her attack and subsequent capture and incarceration, her escape and her managing to get herself back to England where she had started working as a historian rather that her original profession in law. As the couple struggle to discover who it was that wanted to hurt his wife it soon becomes apparent that the threat has not diminished, if only the pieces of the jigsaw would come together more quickly. However, there is every possibility that those they consider dear may have been behind the attack and the ten years of separation, still as things start to escalate and Sabrina in injured again it is a certainty that the noose is closing around the perpetrator, Raoul will see justice is served no matter what. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
💣💣ONE SPECTACULAR DELIGHT💣💣 Holy hell batman! Remarkable job Arabella, thanks for sharing this jewel with us.
Under Lock & Key: A Daddy Dom Romance is the second book in A Traditional Daddy series. This is the first book I have read by Arabella Kingsley so I was not sure what to expect but the book description looked like it could be really interesting, and hopefully super sexy. I found for the first part of the books it jumped back and forth in time, between ten years ago and now, and it was confusing and sometimes I had to reread parts to make sure I had the right time period in mind. But once I got things straight then the story rolled pretty quickly. The writing was good, the story-line was engaging and the characters were off the charts sexy. This book has a real undercurrent of mystery, danger and chemistry that is woven together into a fun read.
As a note - When I looked back over the authors previous books I did find that this book was originally published in 2013 with the title Conquering Sabrina. I do not know if the story has been written with new content added and editing or not or whether it just has a new title and cover, as the author has not indicated anything. So if you have already read the original book then you need to make your own decision about this book.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Recalling bad memories leads to a renewed love A fast moving mystery about lost memories – combined with a love story. Sabrina is invited to a Loire Valley chateau by its owner, Raoul, presumably to do some historical research on an ancestor of Raoul. However, when she gets there she learns that she is his wife – who had been kidnapped and abused 10 years ago, and disappeared. Her memory of the events of her disappearance is lost, but with the love and attention from Raoul, it gradually begins to come back, involving both of them in a difficult situation with a number of bad people that had been involved with her kidnapping, and are again trying to do it, as well as damage Raoul’s life and business. The story is interesting, the main characters are well described and logical in their actions, and the sex and discipline activities fit well into the story. Sabrina has been without her memories for the last 10 years, after showing up in a London hospital raped and severely beaten. She's built a life for herself, though, as a historian with one book already published and another in the works. A man offering her a chance to study his family's history has brought her to a chateau outside Paris. The man has not been completely honest. He is her husband, whom she has forgotten, and he has brought her back to him. She starts having memories of their life together on the road to the chateau, and gradually gets them back. The mystery of who attacked her rolls through the book. Just when I thought I knew who the villain was, another twist would happen in the story. I was honestly surprised by the end. This book is well written, and very suspenseful. I really enjoyed it, and I recommend it.

The primary purpose of this story is either the imagining of D/s relationship between a husband and wife, or actually experiencing those moments. Nothing is left to the imagination.
Sabrina was kidnapped 10 years ago, raped and beaten. When she woke up in the hospital she had amnesia. She initially doesn’t know if her dreams are actual memories. A good part of the book is seeing acts that are parallel to those in the dreams. The other part of the story is recovering enough of her memory to lead to the identity of her kidnapper.
This is a book you need to have a particular taste for, like spankings with various things in various places and the use of other strategies and apparatus. The only thing I didn’t like was that sometimes it was hard to tell from her inner dialogue if she was imagining something or if it was happening to her.

So this book did start off a little confusing at first, but after the first chapter all became clear, we then get a mystery of sorts as to who attacked the MFC some years ago and caused her amnesia. The MMC is possessive, controlling and dominating, the sex scenes were okay, with light BDSM and spankings but I've read better. The MFC is very weak and a pushover (This really frustrates me), I seem to be reading a lot of books lately where the heroine seems to be strong minded and put up a small fight verbally but as soon as sex comes into play caves and falls madly in love forgetting all the manipulation. It is so annoying the way they give up so easily. What i will say is that the plot is excellent and that saves it for me. The book is also written very well and does hook you in.

If there is such a thing as a 'typical' Arabella Kingsley story, this is it. There is the strong mysterious male dominant and the willful submissive who doesn't realize/want to be a submissive. Raoul has been searching for his wife, Sabrina for 10 years. She was stolen from him and disappeared. Sabrina doesn't realize that she is his wife because, after being raped and beaten, she has amnesia. But when she comes to the chateau, memories start to drift in her mind. Raoul tells her right away that she is his wife and that he will keep her safe, even if under lock and key. I enjoy these fanciful books. The strong personality of Sabrina as she gives her submission to Raoul is extremely fun to read about. You know she is going to be sp**ked, but getting there is a lot of fun.

3.5 stars for me Well this was different! Talk about keeping your wife locked in her château and she has amnesia for 10 years... What’s caused the blank was men who wanted her for themselves no matter if she was happily married, they want- they take.... brother vs. brother friend vs. friend kind of feud. We do have OW causing problems because the ‘perfect’ woman didn’t win and keep the heart of the playboy millionaire before he met his future wife at the office of the man who is suing him, she’s feisty and stubborn to his in control dominance over everything. The other woman is trying to come between Raoul and Sabrina almost at every turn but not all of Sabrina’s memories return until some of their ‘friends’ that visit spark her memories and eventually the truth will come out but how many people was actually behind Sabrina’s kidnapping and who they were.....
Sabrina and Raoul were a match made in heaven but as is often the case, there was a serpent or two or more in the garden. Amnesia allowed Sabrina to pursue her real interests and eventually Raoul found his way back to her. Her memories were harder to recover. Sabrina found it hard to trust the people around her and tried to investigate what happened to her. Raoul told her some but would not tell her everything which was understandably, very frustrating. His love for her never faltered but she needs quite some convincing. The malevolent forces were still in play and unravelling the history, players and their motivation was intriguing.

Fantastic story full of drama, lies, sexual chemistry & This is the first book I've read by this author & I already can't wait yo read the next one. This story had me so engrossed that I couldn't stop reading it, to start with I didn't like Raoul the way he treated Sabrina but as the story went on I could feel how much he loved her & how hurt he was by what had happened 10yrs ago when he lost her. This story had so many twists & turns that kept you on edge wanting to know what was coming next. I loved this book.

This is an interesting and intriguing story about a woman whom lost her memory, and is forced by her husband to stay in one of their homes after 10 years. She slowly regains parts of her memory, including what happened to her. There are a lot of misconceptions going around, and when the truth is finally revealed, a little shocking. The story idea is really cool, but I think that it could have been put together better. The different parts of the story by themselves are good, but when put together, the story seems to be all over the place.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I would not consider this a "daddy" book but I found this story quite compelling, from Raoul's dominance, to the mystery surrounding Sabrina's disappearance (and who was responsible) ten years earlier. The only weak spot was that even though she has amnesia I find it a stretch to believe that she was using a name she was previously known by and she still couldn't find out anything about herself, or that no one could find her for all those years. Aside from that I found I thought this was a pretty great story. Mystery, suspense, and plenty of kinky steam made it impossible to put down. 4.5 stars.

I loved this book. I loved the story and the Deja Vu. This is the story Sabrina and Raoul, Sabrina has the sense of Deja Vu and Raoul plays on that feeling. Sabrina looks like his wife who disappeared from a masked ball. Raoul will not give up Sabrina again. He will protect her from everyone. This book has action, suspense, myster and just wonderful read that grabs you and keeps you with the story until the very end.

Incredible story of a woman haunted by her forgotten past...
Raoul has found his missing/lost wife, and he is determined to win back her love, earn back her trust, and more than anything, protect her.
Sabrina can't recall anything before she awoke 10 years ago, but when this man invites her to a chateaux where at first she is almost haunted by visions, but gradually discovers snippets of memories are coming back, this incredibly hot story turns into an intriguing whodunit in which the author plays fair, right from the start.
I thought this was a fascinating story. It had mysterious characters and a troubling backstory. The reveals were heartbreaking as the author provided them perfectly placed to give maximum effect on the emotions of the reader. I struggled to understand why it took so long for him to realize what really happened. The mystery, intrigue, suspense and drama were palpable throughout the entire story.

Fantastic story full of mystery and suspence. Raoul Valoire is convinced that English historian Sabrina Michaels is in fact his wife who disappeared ten years earlier, what makes it plausible is the fact that the Chateau in which she is visiting to do an interview, also gives her a sense of deja vu, and the time frame coincides with her waking in a hospital battered, bruised and having been raped.

This book started out as a typical dark erotica with some romance but this story was so much more! After reading the first fifty pages or so this storyline was full of mystery, dark romance, suspense, who done it with so many twists and turns. I couldn't stop reading until I knew it was a Happily Ever After ending!!!
Sabrina was found 10 years ago with amnesia, beaten and raped. She doesn’t remember Raoul who is her husband but remembers bits and pieces of their love life and kink. Raoul wants his wife back but Sabrina doesn’t know who kidnapped and beat her. A mystery......

This story has an excellent plot and it hooks you right from the start. There is mystery, suspense, love, romance, sex, light BDSM and spanking! This is my first book from this author, but I will be reading more! I enjoyed it.
This book was a little confusing at first, but soon things became clear and then we got a weird amnesiac mystery story linked with awkward BDSM. The plot felt pretty weak to me and at times I wanted to DNF the book but pushed through the awkwardness.
