Pretty entertaining if you enjoy a Sherlock story where you get to participate :) However, whereas some decisions don't affect the plot at all (you just choose a worse option, but the outcome is the same), near the ending, there are a few crucial decisions to make that will create a wholly different conclusion to the story. While it's pretty cool that you can 'influence' the storyline by your choices, it meant that in some possible storylines, some curious details were neglected entirely or interpreted differently. I would have preferred it had the plot been the same and your choices only affected the outcomes rather than the plot itself. Only one version can be the real version of events, after all.
But a great way to pass the time nonetheless!

Disappointing. Few actual puzzles, and the book is badly formatted so it's too easy to see solutions to the various questions as soon as they're asked. The hints are in no particular order and some of the puzzles, solutions aren't provided. At least the cases are in keeping with the characters (I've read other Sherlock escape room books where they are unrelated to anything Sherlockian), and the book itself is a good size, on nice paper.

As other people already wrote, the formatting is bad.. you don't know how far you can read before reading the answer to the question. Also the hints and the story don't always give you the answer..

It's not clearly marked how far you can read before you should answer a question, I kept reading too far and seeing the answers. Also you'll need a lot of prior knowledge to solve some of the puzzles. For me it ends up being not really a puzzle book, but also not a fiction book. They also try to make it into a choose your own adventure book, but seeing as there often is only one "right" option that doesn't work either. Didn't end up finishing it.

Nette Geschichte.

I'm really not a choose your own adventure girl. However this read more like a book. I enjoyed it but am still not a fan of the genre.

Enjoyed the "choose your adventure" angle. Easy fun read when you need a break from long heavy books
