A pretty good novelization. Worth a read for those who've played the game or haven't. A few spelling mistakes but I don't care enough about that to affect my rating. Since it's a fan project a free PDF of this book can be searched on Reddit. I recommend reading it on a tablet.

a noble cause! i feel like this could've been a bit more personal, joel's feelings could've been expanded upon a bit more in some sections. other than that, i enjoyed this. it was very well written for a fan project and the about the author section made me chuckle. a great effort. highly recommend this.

4.5 rounded. It was just the retelling of the game so I already knew what happened but it was detailed and fun to read. Only took me 1 day.

Honestly this felt very dry, but I liked to read it over again. Good way to fresh up your mind if you haven’t played the game in a while

THIS REVIEW HAS SPOILERS!!!

The last of us is a great apocalyptic fiction novelization, written by Neil Druckmann. This book summarized is basically a man called Joel which survives through a zombie apocalypse which is caused by a rare fungus. He then later in the story gets to meet Ellie because of the fireflies wanting him to transport her through the city to another fireflies hospital.

The things that I like from the book are that the book provides a ton of detail through the story to explain what the characters are seeing from their perspective to make you imagine it too, which really makes the story much more interesting to read and more exciting to keep reading. The things that I don't like about the story are that the book can sometimes be too detailed with their explanations which make the book sometimes be a little hard to read because of how much detail is given.

I recommend this book for anyone above the age of 15 because there are some things in the book that would not be very appropriate for younger people, though younger people can also read this book but they definitely have to be very mature to read this book because of the gruesome descriptions of zombies and swear words. I would definitely recommend this book to be read in a short amount of time to keep your knowledge about the book because there is so much happening in the story that it can be hard to remember all the details that happen in the book for a long period of time. I could definitely give this book an easy five out of five, and this is easily one if not the best book I have ever read. If you want a better experience out of reading this story I recommend that you don't play the game before reading the book and instead play the game after finishing the game, so that all the important things that happen in the story can be new for you.
