Rate this book

One of the best books to reflect on how leaders are different from other people.

I really loved the book. It reasonated with me in several aspects, and I could transfer myself to several points of my life, in school, university and throughout my career. It sparks the thinking around the deepness that you require to understand the motivations behind certain behaviors you see day in and out in your job. Working in services industry as a strategy consultant and working directly to boards and CEO-led executive teams, this book gave me a lot to work with in my dayly challenges. Finally, the authentizotic organization concept, for which I still didn’t have a name, really reasonated with me to work in and for something that you really believe in, that has purpose and thus makes your authentic self flourish!

Psychoanalysis applied to leadership. Great ideas, but lacking depth. Also really dull to read. Management literature cliches, wordiness, and overall bad structure of the book.
