Book 2 picked up right where Book 1 left off. Gavin found out that both Genesis and Candy are pregnant. Trying to be a stellar guy, he tried to be there for both of them. As the saying goes, leopards don't change their spots and we witness some of the same abuse from book one. This toxic behavior leads to Gavin making an ultimate decision. Unfortunately, the final result is fatal and sad.
I enjoyed this series by @lady_lissa832, because the she flipped the script and showed us domestic violence where the male is the victim. The doctor's appointments were hilarious and provided comic relief to a heavy topic. If it weren't for the errors, this would've been a perfect read.

Uggghhh
When i say i hyrried and read this series JUST so i could leave a review!!! I felt so bad for Gavin because i could tell he was a really good man and all he wanted was to be happy with his wife. I was glad he and Candy got together in the end. But i dont wanna talk about that, i wanna talk about Genesis! That girl worked every fiber of every being in my body that i have. Wheeeeww chile i know Gavin wasnt raised to hit women but he should have popped her a** one good time and I guarantee she wouldnt have hit him again! Its her hitting him then playing the victim for me! In fact, her moma shouldve wore her sepf entitled a** out when she fought her about the prom dress! Cause aint no way that couldve been my daughter. I really wished that she couldve ran into somebody to whoop her a** and showed her she wasnt Billy Bada**. The way i cussed her out while reading this book could not have been normal.

Great GREAT READ
First I want to thank the author for shining the light on a topic that is not discussed.
I was drawn in from the first few pages of the PROLOGUE, from that point on I was engulfed with the story, the characters. Domestic Violence is real. I will recommend this book to any ad everyone. Loved it

Whew!!!!! This series was something else. I definitely don’t condone a man hitting a woman but my motto is and has always been if a woman can give a lick then she can get one back. Gavin should have slapped her behind one good time after she popped him and I swear she would have thought again before hitting him again

Well Lissa this book was great!!!! I am so glad that Gavin found his happiness. I hate Genesis died, but she was so mean ti Gavin. Poor Sienna didn't deserve her fate either, but she was young and didn't know what love was. Another hotttttt book!!!!

Genesis had deep issues for her to fight her mom. I knew het mom had to be shoe cause s black mom who have killed her. This books details how a man and a woman can be abused.

Wow, What a Great and Powerful story !
I guess the ole saying never judge a book by its cover is true. Abuse in any form is NEVER okay. It's sad that people, men women and children are not punching bags.

Conflict
In a part of the second book it was said that Gavon had met Genius mom and day.. After she died the father said oh you are the one who left my daughter. U guys need to proofread a lttle better. Just putting out there . Like me to proofread for you. Lol. No but seriously

amazing!!!
I was on an emotional roller coaster! Genesis definitely had a problem, I thought Gavin was going to NEVER leave her! But I’m glad he did and I’m glad he found happiness!! I loved this book. I hate what happened to Sienna that really made me cry!

Unexpected ending
I thought that it would be one story but I loved how every character had a part to play. Loved the book. Can't wait to read the entire set.
