This is classic Invader Zim, including a backstory of why Professor Membrane has the Anti-Santa Arsenal he gave to Dib in The Most Horrible Xmas Ever.

The problem is... it's classic Invader Zim, haha. Zim is absolutely horrible, even and perhaps ESPECIALLY to himself (literally: he makes a plan SO SECRET that he makes HIMSELF forget it). About the best thing is GIR... who is also the WORST thing, hahaha. Even so, I have a soft spot for GIR, since
1. Rikki Simons voiced him, and
2. he actually has sort of a fun, silly adventure in the first story! (even though he's terrible every other time)

Recommended for fans of the series, newcomers will definitely be scratching their heads, especially over GIR being a robot in a "normal green dog" costume. At least the stories are fairly self-contained, so if you know even a little of Zim, then you can follow what's happening in any Zim story.

A fun collection of comics! Fun for any hardcore zim fans, or fans who are just starting out. These comics stay true to the original, off-the-wall humour of the show, and the different art style gives each comic a unique feel.
Overall a good read, if you don’t mind insane, confusing jokes and a small amount of grossness.

After reading this I need to pick up more of the Zim Comics. This was a much needed dose of laughter. I really enjoyed that each of the stories stood on their own, and the second one reminded me of Gravity Falls. This felt like you were just watching the show.

i loved the first issue and the fourth was pretty good but the rest relied so heavily on professor membrane and neither of these guys can write that character imo.

What's not to love about everyone's favorite green Earth invader? This collection follows right along with the craziness of love of my favorite childhood shows. So glad i found this on Kindle Unlimited!

The Cryptid Challenge and Zim’s Greatest Plan was very good. The latter one’s ending has a unique twist. The Christmas chapter was my least favorite. I did not get the point with those three different stories.
