The sights and sounds of the 4th of July are celebrated in this undeniably cute little book. A variety of humanized objects, from firecrackers to balloons, are presented with sweet parent-to-child messages.

Veg*n parents note: A smiling hot dog "parent and kid" are presented in an illustration. Those whose first thought is how hot dogs are made may find this more than a little creepy.

Very cute book with the spirit of Fourth of July. It tells you different ways of calling your little one like "you're my little firecracker" or "you're my little hot dog" etc. with rhyming text. It basically celebrates the love between a parent and the child, but in the spirit of Fourth of July. The illustrations are adorable and the lifted die-cut shapes add cool depth to the book with a little bit of sensory exploration.
