Faded Mirrors: A Memphis Love Story
Mira is a troubled soul living in the sphere of toxicity. With heartbreak and rejection being too heavy of a cocktail to continuously digest, she turns to drug use in order to dull her reality. It’s nice to get a urban book from B.Love. The book def not what I was expecting but it’s really good. This one will keep you in your toes. Starting part two now !

My first read by this author and the storyline is similar in that you have a young woman who has experienced childhood trauma and uses men for anything that she desires. You know “using what she got to get what she want”. But there are also elements of the story that I feel is unique: opioid addiction, underground gambling spots, etc. The way it ended...I was like 😮 aw naw Zach weak asf for that 🤣😂

Dayyyummm!!!
Queen B. Love definitely took us back to her earlier writing style and kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what's coming next.
Mira, wow she has a lot of demons she's fighting. Her mom is a big trigger for her but I could tell that the things she had been telling her regarding the way she tasted her and especially her siblings were making her move differently. I hatred that she rejected Kim, but at the same time I understood. That childhood trauma stays with you. The things she was doing finally caught up to her, smdh. I was praying, like let this be the big break she need.
Princeton aka Smoke. I had a feeling they were one in the same. He fighting demons too, smdh. His demons got him latching on to her but in a protective kind of way. That man say "I've ran into her 3 times, that's gotta be fate".
Chris, I felt he was using Mira too, but once his boys got wind of the games she played with other dudes his lil feelings were hurt. They can dish out but they can't take it.
Can't wait to read the next installment.

This story follows Mira and Smoke aka Princeton. Mira has some a very distorted view point on life. Her thought is to use sex as a way of getting what she wants and want she wants is pills. Even though Mira makes horrible decisions its her flaws that kinda of pull you in. Her boyfriend Chris is crazy on one hand I get him but not enough to excuse his behavior. Smoke aka Princeton is a whole other story but I feel like me only got a glance of his character. Look forward to the next installment cause where the book left off its about to go down.

Such a heartbreaking read about Mira whose hustle is riddled by her addiction preventing her from being lady boss. Instead her life is met with challenges after challenges even the risk of her life. Princeton "Smoke" is boss bae whose life collides with Mira and the way forward...no one knows.

Mira got caught up because she got greedy. Her mom is trash and I feel bad for her siblings. Princeton seems to be a good dude with a big heart. I also understand why Chris was so upset. On to the next one

This is a very lovely book. I really like the background story of the characters and the characters chemistry. I love the fact that they have a unfortunate bond.... if that makes sense.

Mira is off to a horrible start in this story. She has had so much pain and hurt and she uses pills and men to cover up what she feels. Princeton sees something in her worth pursuing. How will this work out with Chris threatening her and having someone wanting to help her too! Great start to a wonderful series. I must keep reading! Great job B. Love!!!!
