Very creepy! But it was a good creepy. The twists and turns made me jump and took my imagination in all directions! The author is definitely a poet at heart, and her prose is delightful...if not frightening to read in this book. Excellent story.
Such a fun and twisted little ride! I loved the vivid imagery and the winding road through the narrator’s consciousness as she attempts to make sense of what is happening. This short story has the whimsy of the fairy tales you remember from childhood but with a haunting after-effect. Bravo, Nancy!
This short story had me wanting more! It would be a great creepy short story to read aloud at night on camping trips or girls night in around the fireplace. I definitely recommend it and excited to read more from Nancy Brashear.
