Trapped within Athan’s stronghold, all I want is to be rescued.
But when that day finally comes, it’s not at all as I imagined. There are no white knights, romantic reunions, or happily-ever-afters. Instead, there’s Cassius and Quinn, and a trail of blood, death, and insurmountable pain.
Even when we do escape, the demon’s that lead us to this point still linger. When fierce jealousies rise, a single betrayal compromises everything—and everyone.
And now, there is no going back. Because everything before, is long gone…
Sara Thorn writes dark paranormal romances filled with all her favorite supernaturals. Her series, Marked by Night, is planned for over 30 books. Sara loves all things "geeky fantasy" and spends her free time playing RPG's and browsing the shelves of used bookstores.
Bound (Marked by Night Book 2) ~~ Just when I thought I knew where this story was going — Bound proved me wrong in all the best ways. The stakes are higher, the emotions run deeper, and the chemistry between the main characters practically burns through the pages. The bond forming between them isn’t just romantic; it’s spiritual and dangerous. There’s something addictive about how Sara Thorn writes tension — you can feel it pulsing in every interaction.
This book dives deeper into the vampire world, showing that not everything is black and white. The heroine faces choices that test her loyalty and her heart. The vampires are not all villains, but they’re far from saints, either. I loved how the story explored what it really means to be “bound” — not just by blood, but by fate.
The last few chapters completely shattered me — that perfect mix of heartbreak and hope that keeps you wanting more.
I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.
Cassius launches a war to free Mars from Anthan's clutches, tossing him into the dungeon to rot. but the war has costs and results that neither are prepared for. Cassius' crown stabilizes the land nut leave Mara changed forever.
the character growth amongst the the protagonists and antagonists is fabulous. the rich background sweeps you into a dreamworld that is nightmarish
I’m so deeply saddened by Quinn’s actions and his heart break about not being able to be with the woman he loves! I can’t wait to dive into the next book to see mera’s power!
