Vegas wedding. Greek mobsters. Somewhat emotionally detached and ruthless Mark Papas. Oh, what a night to remember. If only what happens in Vegas really did stay in Vegas. I wouldn’t be in the mess if I hadn’t let my jealousy get the best of me. I’m on a private jet going to help Mark deal with some family drama. Somehow, I don’t think his family drama is going to be quite the same as mine, like whose turn is it to host Thanksgiving dinner, and Mom should give me the family china.

The best book in the series! The couple was both cute and hot, the suspense plot easy enough as not to leave many holes or inconsistencies, and it wrapped up the series beautifully.
Britney and Mark were everything. The tension we could feel in the previous books reaches a peak, and they finally succumb to their attraction in the best way. It was so hot! Mark, the big broody violent guy, reveals himself to be a considerate and passionate lover, who would do anything for the woman who stole his heart. And Britney, the ingenue, shows her adventurous side, in and out of bed. I loved both of them.
They both had secrets, and a past where they weren’t in control of their life, and teaming up helped them overcoming their trauma. They were a lot alike in the end. I really really enjoyed their romance.
As for the suspense part of the story, it wasn’t complicated–though there were a couple of interesting twists–and ran smoothly. The bad guy may have been a bit too much though, and his demise quite anticlimactic. It was kind of fitting though, so it was okay.
The author goes back to Greece and describes beautiful places, but we don’t get to be tourists this time. Except as a nod to the country, I didn’t feel it was necessary to bring the story there. It could have been the Cosa Nostra, the yakuza or the Irish mob, and the story would have made sense too. But I understand the appeal.
The characters from the previous books barely make an appearance, the story was so focused on Britney and Mark. They did talk a lot about them though, with enough details that this book can be a perfect standalone.

I've really enjoyed this series but "A Clear Shot" is my favorite out of the three books. Beautiful Britney is shy, quiet and has been brought up in a strict, religious family. Handsome Mark with gorgeous green eyes has escaped and eluded his very dangerous Greek mafia family, or has he? Being in Vegas at their mutual friends wedding Britney and Mark get caught up in their attraction to each other and decide to marry for one night to scratch an itch. "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas right, or does it? This book has a little bit of everything and more. Two totally opposite people coming from totally different worlds, what could possibly happen. I know anyone that reads this book will fall in love with these two characters.

A clear shot indeed and they went all in for it! Britney and Mark might be complete opposites but they are one another’s ying to the yang. Like the last two pieces of the puzzle fitting together.
Britney is a slightly naive, somewhat sheltered girl that’s been thrown into a world she never thought she’d see. But as she gets farther into the darkness, her confidence grows and she becomes an empowered woman. She may not have all the street smarts like Mark or be as diverse in the world as he is, but she takes what she has and BOOM! Girl Power!
Mark. Mark, Mark, Mark. A troubled soul with a way different upbringing than Britney, can’t bring himself to stay away from this girl. Their souls are one and you can’t deny that fate! I loved his overprotectiveness with Britney; she needed this extra person to be in her court.
I love how the author doesn’t drag the book out with meaningless details. She gives you more than enough detail right from the get go and you get into the solid part of the story. And boy does this story need to be one that is devoured! The perfect amount steamy scenes, the perfect amount of drama, that all has you fanning yourself and on the edge of your seat the entire time.
It’s pretty clear that you need to take a shot on this book.

Wow. Just wow. I. Am. CRYING!! 😭 I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for Mark and Britney's story, and I'm so excited that it's finally here!! I have to say that I had very high expectations going into this, and I was definitely NOT disappointed. This story caught my attention from the very beginning and held onto it with every twist and turn until the very end. I absolutely loved it, and would definitely recommend it. I'm very sad that this is the end of the series, but I'm super excited to see what Gail writes next!! ❤️

A Clear Shot will grab your heart right of the gate, then keep you on the edge of your seat in heart pounding fear trying to figure out the who, what and where and wondering if Mark can get to Britney in time to save her. Loved it!!!❤🔥❤🔥❤

A Clear Shot is the last book in the K.O. Romance series. With each book, Gail Haris will have you falling more in love, but I have to say this book became my favorite of the three.
I've been patiently waiting for A Clear Shot, but the wait was worth it because I enjoyed every second of this book; this was a sweet, fun, and steamy read with drama, tension, secrets, suspense, and passion.
Mark is broody, quiet, mysterious, and intense. Mark tried to get away from the crime life he used to live, but the past will catch up to him, and now he will do whatever it takes to protect Britney.
Britney is sweet, naive, and innocent, with an overwhelming and very different upbringing than Mark. Britney's life will take a turn, and Mark's world will put her in situations she never expected.
For a while, there has been tension and attraction between Mark & Britney, but it's in this book where they finally give in to what they feel; despite being complete opposites, they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. A Vegas wedding will lead to so much more, and we will see a different side from both characters that we didn't meet before. Britney will grow stronger, adventurous, and confident throughout the story, while Mark will show us the protective-caring side that Britney brings out of him.
I'm so sad this series is over, and I know I will re-read it more than once. I recommend this series! And I can't wait to get more from this author.

4.5 stars. Sexy and action packed! In Vegas for a friends wedding, Britney decides to take a risk and make a play for Mark, who she’s been secretly lusting after since she met him, but was always to shy and reserved to do anything about it. She was raised in a very Christian household, and never thought she would be doing anything before marriage. But she’s realizing those were her parent’s values, not necessarily hers, and she wants to take control of her own life. Mark has been interested in Britney as well, but never made a play for her, not having any real interest in a relationship of any kind. But when she finally reveals her interest to him, he is definitely not one to pass on the opportunity.
Their relationship is actually quite interesting. They have tons of chemistry, but she’s very inexperienced, and he tries to respect that while still trying to give her what she has clearly expressed she wants from him. As things progress, I’m both surprised and not surprised at their journey. But then his family, which is tied to Greek mafia, suddenly shows back up in his life, and all hell breaks loose for both of them. The story is actually pretty fast paced, which is great. Britney’s naïveté definitely comes out more than once, but you can’t blame her - it fits what you would expect from her character, and her development is actually a pretty stark change from the start of the book to the end. And for Mark, he finds himself in a very difficult situation, being pulled by family but still wanting to make his own decisions outside of the family. He wants to protect Britney, and the only way to really do that is to finally take control of his own life. It gets intense as everything comes to a head, and the resolution is good. There is plenty of steam, the chemistry between them is excellent, and seeing Britney let herself go and enjoy what she wants is awesome. I went from laughing to fanning myself. Is it getting hot in here? Whew! The chemistry between Mark and Britney was so intense from the get-go. They had my pulse beating hard while the world around me zoned out.
Finally I get to see the inside of Mark. What makes him tick and boy, I love every inch of him, inside and out.
Britney is a sweet, down to earth girl that connected with the dark and dangerous Mark one night (in Worth a Shot). She has been the only one to be able to stand up to him without signing a death sentence and crazy thing is I want to BE Britney. I am so in love with Mark that he has now hit my top book boyfriend with his Alpha murderous outside but secretive sweet inside when it comes to who he loves. I need to be that person. 😂 But since I clearly am not the Heroine of the story, Britney is definitely worthy of being Mark’s and I loved seeing her grow as a woman from timid to strong and fierce.
I have been waiting for this since I read Worth a Shot and it did not disappoint. This can be a stand alone but it is so much sweeter when you read the series. I highly recommend this amazing and intense series.

A Clear Shot is the final installment in the K.O. Romance series. I don’t even know what to say! Gail, you truly are wonderful at storytelling.
I loved Tristan in book 1, but Mark definitely takes the cake. I loved his broody, intense personality. Attracted to Britney since he first laid eyes on her, he knew she was unique and couldn’t stay away. When a Vegas wedding leads to an opportunity, he’ll definitely take the shot.

What a wonderful story to end this series. I really enjoyed Mark and Britney's story. Who would have thought that getting married in Vegas would put you in the sight of danger.This story was definitely a nail biter, packed full of unexpected events and people not being who they really are. This was a fantastic book and I loved this series.

This is by far my favorite book in the KO series. I love Mark and Brittany! Gail gives us more of her steamy romance and lots of laughs and awkwardness. Mark is the perfect bad boy hero. I am just not ready for this series to end. Please give us more Gail!!

I found Gail a little over a year ago, she just had a few books published at the time, but I was really impressed by her writing and her style immediately. With every new book, she managed to pull me in deeper and deeper into her mind and has taken me on so many unexpected adventures. I kept wondering how she is going to top the last book/series/story, but then A Clear Shot landed on my Kindle and I dove right in.
I must say, I am so tremendously blown away by this entire book. Seriously! From cover to cover it held onto me and still hasn’t released me. It has climbed past some of my favorites by Gail and I was simply amazed by how this 3rd and final book *this makes me sad to type* wrapped everything up in the KO Romance world. I love the chemistry, the story, the crazy backstories, Greece, Vegas, all of this book is just SO astonishing! This is just a remarkable way to wrap up the series, and also added so much additional depth to what Mark had been dealing with behind the scenes in the prior 2 books. Britney and Mark’s chemistry and pure passion for each other was simply sizzling. The journey they go on together in A Clear Shot wasn’t what I was expecting, in all the BEST ways possible. I also loved seeing again, all the other characters we have fell in love with in the first two books, as well as the of some new characters too! Britney is snarky and determined, and Mark is my favorite of Gail’s male characters, passionate and driven, and together they melt into one and are a force to be reckoned with.
I am truly heartbroken that this is the end of this series, but with each new release, I find Gail’s writing growing with more depth of her characters and just more detailed and original stories. I keep falling in love with each and every new one, and I hope that never ends. Over and over again I will continue to pick up her latest release and be just as excited as I was with her first book. Unsure of where the next journey will take me but determined it will be an adventure.

I absolutely adored the men of the K.O. Series and ending with Mark’s book was like the cherry on top of a delicious, six-pack sundae!
Mark has really been an enigma in the previous books so I was dying to know his deal. Mix him with good girl Britney and I knew that this was going to be something great. Gail did not disappoint! Blending her signature humor with all the yummy spice, I got what I wanted plus so much more! What a great end to the series!

I absolutely loved this so much. Mark and Brittany were made for each other. A perfect addition and wrap up to an amazing series that I definitely recommend reading.
Mark comes from a life of crime, one in which he tried to get away from. But when his past catches up with him, he finds out quickly he never truly got away.
Brittany was raised in a conservative Christian house hold. With so many rules and values to follow and uphold she was almost drowning in them. Her life is quickly turned upside down when she falls for the bad boy and finds herself wrapped up in his crazy world .
Can they both make it out alive? Is their love strong enough to survive?
I want call Mark a hero, because he's not. He's more than that. How does the saying go?
A hero will sacrifice his love for the world but a villain will sacrifice the world for his love.
It goes something like that. And Mark is the perfect villain, the one who is tender and loving when it counts but will burn the world to the ground without hesitation for the woman he loves.

The ending of a fantastic series! Mark intrigued me in every single book in this trilogy thus far so I was very excited for his book. A lot of his character now makes sense, and it all works well. Put him with Britney, the good girl, and the two are comical and plain adorable together. The tension from the other books finally exploded in this one, and boy! Do they ever give it good!
There’s some drama, because when you’re someone from Mark’s family, it would be difficult not to have that. I for sure didn’t see it coming, but it was a fun and interesting twist that really made a bang for these two ending.
Overall, very satisfying read and ending to the trilogy. I’m soooooo excited for what Gail is bringing next with A.M. Brooks, and also what future stories she’ll be coming to us with on her own.

Gail Harris is a writer whose work I will always read! A Clear Shot is another example of how she creates a story with characters that are so compelling that you NEED to know more about. Britney and Mark are the characters in question here.
When Britney and Mark meet and connect in Worth a Shot, she is a sweet and innocent girl who got involved with Mark, who isn’t sweet or innocent. In A Clear Shot, we truly get to see who Mark is and what makes him tick. And we get to see a different side of Britney. The only one who can stand up to Mark is Britany. Mark will protect her at all costs. When his past comes back and causes problems for them, Britney shows that she’s more than an innocent, she’s kind of a bad a&$!
This story line is complete gold. It’s drama, family problems, heat… and it’s all cohesive and so interesting! It made for a great read!! I read it in a single sitting, and it was enthralled the entire time!! Gail Harris has done it again.

This is my first book in this series and by Gail Haris and what a great read this was. I loved reading Mark and Britney’s story. They had lots of undeniable chemistry and a love that neither was willing to admit. Super hot scenes between them and lots of twists and turns that I was not expecting. Loved the adventure and meeting all the characters. I will definitely have to read the other books in the series and look forward to reading much more from Ms Haris.

The characters in this book were pretty entertaining and some personalities where pretty bloodthirsty. It was actually pretty entertaining to see what they would do next to protect each other and the people they loved. I haven’t read the other books in the series but if they are half as entertaining as this one, I need to check them out.

This book was definitely my favorite from the series! I loved how strong the FMC becomes and how she takes control of her life and what she wants. Mark is of course everyone girls perfect dream with a dark past that comes back to get him. Mark is the ruthless man the world sees but the sweetest man with Britney!

This is the third and final book in this amazing series and is Mark and Britney’s journey. Mark comes from a world of crime, and he left Greece to start afresh, while Britney was brought up in a conservative Christian household, where they were so may rules to uphold that she was left feeling overwhelmed. These two are total opposites in every way, yet fate has destined them to become soulmates, and the complement each other perfectly, while becoming stronger together. When Mark’s past comes back to challenge him, he will do whatever he must to protect Britney and keep her safe. This is a well written story which has an in-depth plot, engaging and realistic characters, and has drama, family, retribution, tension, passion, secrets, twists, suspense, danger, intrigue, and love, which leads to a steamy and all-consuming addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

A Clear Shot by Gail Haris is #3 in the K.O. series. This story is Britney and Mark. From a Vegas wedding to the greek mafia, this story has it all. Once again this author has assembled twist and turns and more drama. I love the way you just don't see it coming. I have been hooked for the whole series and can't wait to read more from this author.

Wonderful Conclusion
This was an amazing end to a wonderful trilogy. I love mark and Britney’s love story, and how fiercely they loved each other. This book had great suspense and so much yummy spice. I absolutely Rex this trilogy.

I'm glad the series ended with Mark and Britney, I couldn't wait to see what would happen with these two after the first book from the series. I really enjoyed the K.O series and I'll be checking out the other novels she wrote.

Amazing conclusion!
I love love love the trilogy conclusion with Mark & Britney. They were so cute together. I loved that Stravros asked Mark’s permission to date his mom 😂😂🤣
