This easy-to-read book is one to be loved by children. Monster trucks is a fun topic for children and is bound to keep them entertained and intrigued. The illustrations are fun and dynamic. It discusses common emotions and feelings children have such as fear of not wanting to start school. The first day of school can be filled with anxiety for a lot of children and this is a very fun twist on that common struggle. Showing children that hard work can get you far is an important lesson to teach them. Learning that when you work harder in school, you can become better and things you enjoy is a great lesson for children. The fact that it mentions sibling to adds another dynamic lesson into the mix on how siblings can help you become a better person as well. I think it book is great for early elementary school aged children because of how easy-to-read this book is. It provides simple vocabulary and structure to make it accessible for younger children.
