Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What's Always Within Us

Rate this book
We have a secret manual that comes with our body and it can ultimately show us how to save ourselves. We are much more than our organ systems. However, we can't move beyond the illness and discomfort of our body system's dysfunction. To live the life we have designed, we must first learn to understand our body. Most illnesses stem from the five disharmonized energy systems. By working on the underlying organ issues, most of these illnesses can be treated. Without the understanding or maintaining of our physical body, we have only limited power. We are shut out from accessing our inner source of information that holds the keys to health, money, power, dignity, and longevity. By understanding the laws that govern our physical body and respecting its fragility through diligent care, we can expand and optimize our body's capacity to support and enhance our life's journey, and save us from unnecessary suffering and disasters.

Saving Me First III is a non-fiction study of Eastern medicine and focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of our body organs and how these in turn affect aspects of our life such as health, wealth and longevity.

I found the book easy to read, joining in with the exercises, while the diagrams were useful, with their suggested ways to improve lifestyle and health. Many of the food suggestions were based on Eastern ingredients and recipes, which, although may be harder to obtain, were in line with the theme of the book.

The author talks about cycles of life and our current world Covid virus crisis, while offering some interesting theories. The main point of the book was about rebalancing of our bodies, minds and ultimately the earth; messages which are increasing in popularity across the globe. I liked this book, it made me think and reassess some of my eating habits. I found it easy to read, finishing it in just two sittings.

A fascinating and ancient system of medication and healing.

From the point of view of conventional medicine, this book is extremely unorthodox, and the methods discussed by the author will certainly not be accepted. Based on ancient Chinese medicine, the author explains how the body and our personalities, are ruled by the five major organs which, in turn are influenced by the smaller ones to a lesser degree. There are several questionnaires provided, which, if answered correctly, will show you where you and your body is placed in this system. Following that is a comprehensive list of foods to eat and other regimes to follow for maximum health and longevity. Cancer is also discussed, with case histories of patients included, as is the Covid 19 pandemic. I must admit that I am somewhat skeptical about this system, however, it also appears to make some sense as well. Chinese medicine is also interesting as, in the old days, Chinese doctors in local areas only received payment when the inhabitants were all healthy and payments grew less with more sick patients increasing. Contrary to doctors in the West! Whatever one's evaluation of this particular system, it nevertheless contains a lot of valuable information for healthy living and  life satisfaction, and I am personally fascinated by this system.

A helpful book, full of wisdom
When I read the title of the book, I was immediately interested in the topic. “Unlocking What´s always Within Us” is part of a series of very interesting books called “Saving Me First”, written by Hui Beop and illustrated by Julie Kim. It is a very nurturing reading. I learned a lot from it.
Every chapter in this book deals with a special topic but at the same time they are all interrelated. In this book, readers will find information about the body itself, how it works and reacts when something is happening in the outside. It also gives readers tools to understand it, which is quite difficult to do, but worth trying.
All in all, it is a well-developed and helpful book. While I was reading, I was able to understand the ideas which were presented and put some of them into practice. As it is mentioned, it is crucial to make a connection between our mind and physical body in order to avoid problems, such as diseases or stress. By doing so, people might have a special power over the whole body. That special power will have a positive impact on our lives. I thoroughly recommend this book.

I found this self care book to be a delight. "Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What's Always Within Us" was wonderfully written by Hui Beop and marvelous illustrated by Julie Kim.
This book has taught me the importance of taking good care of my body and how essential is to be aware of the strengths and weakness of every organ of our body as they have a deep connection with our mind. According to Hui Beop, many illnesses can be treated or avoided just by taking good care of our bodies and I couldn’t agree more.
In this book the author uses simple vocabulary to share his knowledge, so it is easy to read and understand. Although many of the recipes that this book suggests have Eastern ingredients, I don’t think they are hard to get in other countries. This book is truly inspirational, especially for these hard times with a worldwide Pandemic, when we are all looking for ways to stay physically and mentally healthy. I am sure it would appeal to anyone who is looking to live a long and enjoyable life.

I am a person who has always been interested in oriental medicine and how it can benefit us. I have read many books and have acquired a lot of training. But Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What's Always Within Us by Hui Beop has pleasantly surprised me. It is a book that has given me a totally new approach.
The book has a clear and simple language. And with a clear focus, the author lets us see how to heal our body by listening to it, focusing on 5 fundamental organs, which for the author represent disharmonized energy systems. Hui gives us fundamental tools to heal ourselves. It is a practical and didactic guide that helps us determine the weakness and strength of our organs and how to generate internal balance.
This reading provided me with a lot of information that I was unaware of. I put into practice all the recommendations provided by the author and I really felt a huge difference in the day to day of my life. The main thing is to listen to our body.
I definitely recommend this book, mainly to anyone who wants to make a radical change in their life!

Saving me first by Hui Beop is the third book of a series that the main goal is to help the reader improve, understand, and fix the body and mind to have a pleasant life.
In this book, Beop focused his teaching on the organs and what the reader should do with and for them.
The author starts by introducing different explanations to define your organ system and by describing what type of person you are according to your organs and your health. The next thing is an extensive questionary about your behavior where the reader can learn to identify their personality and have a better understanding about the type of person, they are according to Beop's philosophy.
Then he goes ahead explaining the different organs, their function and appearance and how they can manifest according to how you feel or treat your body.
What I personally liked about this book is that it is more like a manual that helps you understand yourself better and educates you into having a better lifestyle. I recommend this to everyone that is searching for a healthier and natural change in their routine.

I try to live a very spiritual and down to earth life. I believe that we make the best out of what is given to us and in that journey, we can learn a lot if we have an open mind. That is why I'm always looking for new ways of improving life. In my search for a balanced and peaceful life, I realized that I was leaving a great aspect aside, my body and its relationship with food. In Saving Me First 3 by Hui Beop, I could find the perfect guidance to make the best out of my life. The author presents every issue with such a good insight that I don't understand how I didn't realize it earlier. However, I know that this book is the result of a wonderful work made by Hui. Not only the language is wonderful and explanations are completely clear, but there are also quizzes and illustrations that make every theme perfectly understandable. Julie Kim did a wonderful job adding those amazing pictures, they really helped me get a better idea of the whole picture. The final result of the two previous books and this third one is outstanding. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

“Saving Me First III. Unlocking what’s always within us” is an inspiring book written by Hui Beop. According to the author, the secrets to be healthy and happy lie within our own body. Everything is written in our organs and energy systems. We only need to learn to know ourselves and how to put into practice all the potential inside us.
The book explains that there are different organ systems and helps readers determine their system type. It gives clues to understand the signs through which our body manifests itself. Readers will be able to read about the appropriate food for each organ system and how to improve our health, among other interesting information.
I found this work extremely insightful and helpful. The topics are explained very clearly and detailed. This makes the understanding of some issues that may seem difficult at the beginning, very simple. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in gaining health and happiness.

This book offers a fascinating insight as to how our organs, and therefore, our bodies and minds work. Author Hui Beop has adopted quite a clear and descriptive style to explain the importance of having all our five main organs working at its best. It is only then that we can live our body to our full potential and discover our true self.

Although I don’t always read books related to medicine, I’ve been really attracted to ‘Saving me first 3’ as it has helped me to integrate my body, my mind and my spiritual side. Hui Beop uses simple vocabulary and effective metaphors which make this book quite easy to understand and follow.

In fact, as I was reading it I found out that my father was really close to death because of a silent health condition. It was a pain in his chest, one of the body signals, that saved him. As Hui Beop puts it forward: We have to listen to our body.

I love books that especially talk about health and this is one of them. Reading Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What's Always Within Us by Hui Beop is such a health-enthusiastic book. Then entirity of it talks about how to defend our body againts pain, confusion, and suffering through the power that is naturally within our body. Everything that the author talked about in this book was interesting. I love delving into traditional medicine. For me they are way safer and more wholesome.

The book specifically explained how to determine your body's organ system including the heart, kidney, liver, stomach, lungs, etc. I learned so many things about this book and I realized after reading it that we do not have to rely on scientific medicines that have side effects but we just have to know our body-- what it needs in order to combat diseases. All in all, a great informational book!

I would recommend this book to all kinds of people, even for kids; it really blew my mind. I just couldn´t stop reading it. It reminds me how important it is to take care of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually; and how often I have been struggling with those aspects. I found the setting of the concept of ROI (return on investment) very provoking, which is a financial index, and the organs of our body. It helps me to find out what the title expresses: “unlocking what is always with us”.
This book is a fast pace reading, but contains deep thoughts to reflect on. There are graphics, behavioral questionnaires and the interpretation of the results, scenarios, a lot of substantial information that facilitates a better understanding, in my opinion.

Harmony of the Body

In Hui Beop's writing, I found myself wanting to improve overall. She describes simple things that can be changed over time that will harmonize our body and how it functions. She goes into detail, comparing each organ with a situation that makes it easy to understand, and how these changes can help us. She even goes so far as to define what the organs do and how each has a pivotal role in our health. I loved the fact that she gives bulleted points for the categories as I am the type of person that appreciates that sort of writing when it comes to a book such as this ONE. I would recommend this book to others if they, too, are looking to improve even if just a little. I really enjoyed reading it and am happy I was able to learn much from it!

If I were to make a list of books that had a tremendous influence on my life, this book will definitely make its place on top. We have a natural tendency to mend situations and people outside for the betterment of life but this book sheds light on how we need to look inside ourselves not outside when it comes to transcending our life for good. While reading the book, I was taken back to find how efficiently our bodies have been designed to support the life inside us and we generally turn a blind eye to all the potential.

The author has graciously explained everything required to live a healthy and prosperous life by putting our internal wisdom into use. Everybody who aspires to improve the quality of their life should definitely have this gem.

Psychic and physical health.

Hui Beop is the author of Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What's Always Within Us, the third book of the Saving Me first series. In these books, she shares her experiences and knowledge about suffering, health, meditation and yoga, among other things. She offers tools so that we can understand our body as a whole, which is much more than our organs.
I am a follower of western medicine, but I must say that eastern currents are much better in this matter.
This book reminded me that psychic health is as important as physical health. The structure of writing is not classic, but I managed to connect with it, and through it I connected with myself. If you are able to open your mind this book will be an amazing experience!

This book is an eye-opener for those who want to know how to take care of one's mind, body and spirit. It dives into the energy system of our body and how it requires maintenance through traditional methods of balancing the organs. In the past, I have read about energy flow and ways to maintain the body's heating, cooling systems. I realized that it is important to take care of our kidneys, liver, and other organs to prevent the onset of disease and fatigue. Furthermore, I learnt that we can do this through the improvement of lifestyle and mindset. This book takes a closer look at these concepts by introducing readers to the five elements. If you're interested in learning more about the five elements, then I would recommend this book. It is easy to read and has simple language.

interesting, truly useful breakdown of our physiology

Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What’s Always Within Us is a comprehensive guide to our bodies by Hui Beop. It aligns with Eastern medicine, with a focus on finding balance rather than the idea of keeping each individual body part in working order. I loved this book! Beop includes lists to understand your organs and the way they affect our behavior and wellness without us realizing. Once you identify yourself, you can then find a corresponding chapter on how to improve your health. Again, the book is comprehensive, but follows one basic ideology: pay attention, because your body tells you what it needs. I read through the different body types and health ailments, but you could easily pick out only your own if you wish.

This book helped me a lot to understand the principles of energetic healing of our physical body. For a long time, I have been interested in reading information about energy and how important it is to know to control this energy to be in balance.
This book is a guide full of useful and effective tools to understand how we can heal ourselves, keep diseases away and follow a healthy lifestyle. Starting by explaining and describing the basic systems of the body, the book explores the different ways of taking care of our organs and keeping them in good shape.
I believe thateveryone should have this knowledge and learn about these methods of wellbeing as they are holistic and focus on the body as well as on the mind. In my opinion, they are as trustworthy as traditional medicine.

Saving me first caught my attention at first glance after looking at the cover. I am always looking for ways to improve my health, and this guide to knowing our organs, body and to pay attention to things that we may feel as wrong is certainly something very interesting to learn about.
What I liked the most about it is that it has a questionnaire for everyone to take; I did it in order to know my body and identify traits. It was very interesting.
The author also included bullet points and images to help understanding, making it a simple and clear read. I would recommend reading it because I believe we all should know our body better to avoid having problems in the future.

As a reader I am always open to new concepts or ideas, I like to know and understand first before judging the topic. When I encountered this book, I wanted to know more about this idea of learning more about the machine that keeps me alive. I appreciated how the author divided the book following a common topic; it was very easy to follow and comprehend.

This book is really a very insightful read for anybody. Since I was a child the first thing my parents did when I was sick was taking me to the doctor for antibiotics, but this idea of knowing “why” and “how” makes more sense to me.

I enjoyed this read a lot and I think it is going to be a really good present for my parents.

There is growing scientific evidence that meditation and other spiritual techniques have positive effects on risk factors and symptoms of physical and mental illness. In her third book, “Saving Me First 3: Unlocking what’s Always Within Us”, Hui Beop reveals the underlying laws that govern our physical body to respect its fragility.
I believe that this is a very complete book, since the author not only explains the function of each organ, but also provides us with recipes to soothe symptoms and improve our overall health. I have learned a lot with this fascinating reading, and I think it is worth reading it.

Saving Me First 3: Unlocking What's Always Within Us by Hui Beop takes healing deeper than the food we eat. The author includes an extensive explanation of which of your organs are strongest. Plus, how to strengthen your weak organs. Noticing the signs that your organs need help is the first step in healing. Each person is different, and the author personalizes this book so you have answers at your fingertips. I was interested in the retreat for cancer patients and the possibilities that hold. This book is well researched and very informative. A lot to understand and digest. It answered some of the questions I have about my health.

A book that we all should read

Saving me first is the third installment in a series written by author H. Beop. There is so much valuable information in this book that reading it is time well spent. The author provides very interesting tools so that we can improve and understand our whole system. This may sound a cliché, but give this book a try and you will see it by yourself. I believe it can be useful for everyone, for young and old alike.
The book is a complete and comprehensive guide that I really enjoyed reading. I found some parts a bit slow but nothing prevented me from reading it. I would totally recommend it.

I would recommend reading it

Just by reading this book I can tell that the author has done extensive research and that the writing style is very clear and concise. The author brings many principles of the Easten medicine that I thank. The information presented is impressive in some parts. I really enjoyed reading it because it gave me a lot of interesting information that is very useful for my body. We are lucky to have this material available.
Without any doubt I would definitely recommend reading Saving me first 3, and why not the complete series, which I will read very soon. It seems that the author has a lot to share with us.

Saving me first, written by author Beop, is a book that interested me as soon as I saw the cover. It is a great tool to start understanding our body. The author points out that by listening to the signs our body gives, we can treat most illnesses. This idea is very interesting and one that I want to start implementing.
It is not a long book and as I was immersed in the reading, I finished it quite quickly. The author is clear, and that is what I liked the most. I would recommend reading it because it is thought provoking and to me, life changing.

Interesting and useful

This middle length book is the third one in the series written by Hui Beop; I am really interested in the topic and as I liked how the author writes I would totally read the others too.
It is so important to take care of our physical and mental health that we should do it daily but sometimes we don’t pay attention to what is happening with us. This book is certainly useful and gives us a lot of tools to feel better. I cannot thank the author enough for this.
I believe everyone should read it because it can help us all to have a better life.

Pretty farfetched I think.

This has new age medicine and self-help all over it. I was truly interested in the book and the authors views on how you can heal yourself with a healthy lifestyle. But the information wasn't easy to understand and once I found some farfetched statements like: "Someone who thinks too much likely has weak Stomach/spleen." So thinking too much is bad for my health? Either the author has a very wild imagination or I completely misunderstood the book. It wasn't really worth the time and I hope that I'm not the only one who sees it.
