These stories--including that of the World Record Dall sheep taken by Harry L. Swank, Jr.-- are witten with Jack's remarkable background in his honest, classic style. The book relates progress in Alaska, from mineral exploration to outlaw guides, along with a smattering of hunting advice and humor. It is required reading for those wishing to know and understand the rich history of Alaska.
