Laken is everything. So good!
Whew, this story took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I wanted to jump in the book so many times because Kendrick had me upset lol, but Laken come through like the knight and shining armor he was—from beginning to end—and made sure Majesty was taken care of in all areas. He was truly everything you could want in a man. I love the way he loved on her despite her past and the things she was experiencing due to it. Laken is BAE okay. Read this book, please! You will not regret it.

Great story!!!
This was such a great story. I was super intrigued with Majesty in Everything is yours. I wanted to know how her story would end. When I saw her story I jumped at it. I love how she got fed up with Kendrick and decided to love herself more. She got all that she was looking for and more in Laken. Majesty is a perfect example on how having a loving father in your life determines how you let a man treat you. She saw how her dad loved her mom and knew she needed that in her life and would not settle for less. I understand they Kendrick had mental health issues but I feel like he used that as a crutch to explain bad behaviors. He got what he deserved and I’m glad that Majesty got her happily ever after despite him.

LOVED IT
This was a great story. Very well written, great character development and storyline. I love how with each book the author writes she incorporates characters from her previous stories. You get to see how connected her characters are whether as siblings, best friends, or even as couples. Majesty's story was one of trying to move forward after being in a toxic relationship that left her forgetting to take care of her own needs. I loved how mental illness was discussed in this book. Kendrick's childhood really messed him up to where he just didn't take his mental illness as serious as everyone around him did. It seemed no matter how much help he got it just wasn't enough. Laken was perfect for Majesty and just the right man she needed to show her what it means to be in love and have your better half go out their way to cater to your needs. I was so happy that Majesty got the happy ending she so deserved with her Lakee. Great job Ms Irving. Looking forward to what you have in store next.

Laken was Heaven sent. Just when it seemed that Majesty was ready to give Kendrick one more chance, Laken came and swept her off her feet. I mean he walked through a burning building, like, I couldn’t believe what I was reading!
I feel like this was a different type of love story. Laken and Majesty were everything. The added piece with her ex really made a difference in the book because he added a great deal of depth to the storyline.
Majesty was too sweet and pure- Kendrick preyed on that aspect. He was so toxic and didn’t want to hold himself accountable for anything. But, I loved that the author touched on mental health and therapy, it was super realistic and necessary for this book.
I so appreciate Laken’s character; there’s just not enough words to describe him. He represented everything that a woman would want in a man. Awesome work with this one, I enjoyed it! 🥰

Love Me Right
This was my first read by this author! Definitely won't be my last. It was so good!
Majesty finally found her soulmate! It was a journey indeed. Her ex, Kenny couldn't move on. But that Laken was the MAN! I was Team Laken from the start.
This book captured and kept my attention from the start. It had a good storyline and so realistic. It captured some good points about mental health issues.
I can't wait to read more of this author's work. It was suggested to me by one of my favorite authors Britt Joni. I absolutely loved this book!

Loved it!
From beginning, I was hooked. Majesty and Laken's story was so magical. The way he encouraged her and stood by her during her medical crisis, I was in tears. I will say that Kendrick rubbed me wrong from the start!!!! This was a very good book and I will be reading more from this author.

They both had been hurt before in previous relationships, but that didn't stop their hearts from yearning for each other. I absolutely loved this book! Lake was a man after my own heart. The way he loved Majesty was everything to me.

Yaaasss Queen Courtney has done it again, Oh-kay👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽!!! This motherfudgesicklestix book was sooo damn good and was so relatable it was scary, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I was so glad I got to read it on my off day cause it was most definitely a page turner and I didn't wanna put it down.
Let's address this ungrateful ninja Kendrick bih ass🙄! That ninja spent 8 years neglecting Majesty, cheering, lying, mistreating, etc. Like how you cheat and then get mad cause yo side chick all you to take a paternity test. Your girl say take it so we can move on but you shut her down and expect her not to feel away about it🤔. Then cause she's honest with you about y'all not being ready for marriage you go cheat, AGAIN and expect her to stay around🤡🙄😒😡. That man needed some real extensive mental health therapy, fr fr.
Majesty(Money) loved in spite of not receiving that love in return. Ain't nothing like trying to loving a man through the good, the bad and the ugly. Loving him through his demons, cheating, pushing you away, rejection of your love, etc. 8 years she did that, all it took was her being honest after he proposed for him she her he really didn't value her. I was glad she walked away after catching him cheating again and then trying to blame her cause she was honest🙄😒. 2 years later she's thriving, loving on herself, all her business ventures are keeping her busy but she's still longing for love😔. Out celebrating with friends and one too many drinks has her giving in to temptation and back in bet with Kenny🙄. I was pissed but proud when she kicked that fill out🤣. She was so honest with him and he was still in denial, blaming her instead of taking responsibility for his actions🙄😒.
LAKEE😁! He wasn't looking for love, especially after catching his fiancé sleeping with his best friend😔. From the moment he heard Majesty voice while at her club while out celebrating his cousin Sean birthday, he was stuck. Even though she said she was taken, he was like "Is your boyfriend your husband though? That's exactly what I'm trying to be"😳😁. Oh-kay😜! Then he runs into a burning building to save her😳, I'd be in love too🤷🏽🤣. Another chance meeting has him speaking his truth while seeing the real her telling her things about herself that even her ex didn't puck up on and she 🏃🏾. One meal, great convo and a kiss is all it took and they were both hooked.
These two journey did come without the bumps in the road. Now Majesty did like we women tend to to when we don't wanna hurt folks, especially men no matter how bad they hurt us. She figured if she ignored him and just played nice he'd move pin and leave her alone, NOT! He really thought after she slipped and have him some that she was really gonna take him back no matter how many times she told him it was over. Now again, she should've been a little more forthcoming cause he was really holding on, and that was proven when he tried to propose AGAIN and she immediately said no. Ik her lying to Laken about a girls night out so that she could have a real convo with Kenny was gone bite her in the ass and it did😔. Raegan was the truth and she was a real one for letting Laken know what was going on. That ninja really tried to put his hands on her cause she told him her heart didn't beeping to him anymore. LAKEE, he showed up just in time, Kenny still was trying to attack her and I thought for sure Laken was gonna shoot him. I was pissed she didn't tell her brothers tho😤. I felt like things would've been addressed a lot sooner had she stopped protecting his damn feelings when he kept showing her he didn't five a f**k about hers😒.
Laken was a man's man and he knew what he wanted and let it be known from jump. Everyday he showed her through his sections that he meant what he said. The live he had for Majesty😍 like he had that old school 90's music kinda love💞. That proposal, everything, but them vows, one day Lord🙏🏽.
The love was definitely all through this book but what I got most from it was the importance of self love, the importance of seeking therapeutic healing and spiritual healing. Kenny needed all threw and instead of focusing on that he put his all into loving a woman who had fallen out of love with him so long ago. Mental health ain't nothing to play with and in the black community folks done wanna talk about it and act like therapy is the devil😒. Pretending that you are ok when you ain't and not talking about and addressing your issues is the devil. Hurt people hurt people and if you don't address your childhood trauma it becomes adult trauma🤷🏽.
DEFINITELY A MUST READ!

What an emotional read! I felt Majesty's pain, as well as her love for Kendrick from the very beginning. All those years she put into building him up, and loving him, for him to just ish on her over and over was foul! She was just over him, and done! Meeting Laken was terrifying, and exciting all at the same time for her. He was different, and she could tell right away, that he would be the one to show her the real. The connection between the two of them could not be denied, nor could they run from it. However, Majesty's heart was so sweet, pure and loving that she could not make a clean break right away as she should have. I felt for Kendrick, I really did, but damn dude get a clue! You had everything at your disposal to help heal and care for yourself, but you chose to "obsess" over a woman who doesn't want you anymore! The love that Laken had for Majesty, is what every woman dreams for in their man! He was front and center for her in every way. Majesty finally found a man who knew how to love her, without her having to show him, tell him or teach him. That was what she had beeen yearning for all her life, and she found that with Laken. I really enjoyed the supporting characters as well. Need to see if there are stories about them, or hoping you will bless us with them😁. Great read! 👍👍👍

This story touched on so much when it comes to love, opening up, mental illness and so much more
Majesty and Laken were truly meant to be. They shared the kind of love that many desire to have. They learned one another inside and out, including how to respect one another, how to effectively communicate their wants and needs, each other's love languages, and opened up to one another in ways they never did before. I truly wish that Kendrick would have moved on. He leaned on his mental illness and what he went through as child as a crutch and excuse to do as he pleased, especially towards Majesty, and expect folks to pity him. People like that are dangerous because they know better and desire to want better sometimes yet choose to live life in a destructive manner. I truly feel like this story renewed my desire to find and have a love like Laken and Majesty. It wasn't extremely drama filled and super extravagant per se. Loved this story from beginning to end and now I'm in my feelings lol

Omg this was the best urban romance I’ve read in a while🤚🏽🥹 Chile, Courtney makes you fall in love with Lake and Majesty you don’t even feel like a third wheel😭🤭🥺
Majesty almost lost me along the way because girl, why are you giving that nigga closure? I get, but after the kiss 😒 i feel like she should have distanced herself and let her mom take care of him, if she really care about his mental health🤷🏽♀️ Also this would have turned out differently if she had told her brothers, but oh well🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Now I love Kasi and all but girl NO!!! I was okay with/understood her feelings right up until the end but chile😒, she had Lake and ME all the way messed up🙄

This Was One Good Book
Omg this book was so good. I laughed I cried. Majesty finally got the love she deserved in Laken. He truly showed Majesty how a man is suppose to love a woman. I felt bad and mad at Kendrick. Why couldn't he just moved on. Everyone was trying to help him. I am mad at what he did at the wedding. He deserved what he got. Mental illness is nothing to play with but if you have people trying to help you they can't help you if you are willing to help yourself first.

Love knows no time
Laken & Majesty's love journey was a beautiful yet emotional one. The kind of love, support and encouragement laken freely provided her was one that Majesty had begged for in her pervious relationship. The love between the pair was so pure ❤❤.
This story touched on few real life issues such as mental illness and a few different kinds of abuse.
The qoute that goes "hurt people hurt people" is really true. Kenny really need help but refused when his love ones tried to help.. I kept hoping he didn't do something stupid.

Right On!
What a wonderful story about heartbreak, letting go, new love and overcoming tragedy. "Love Me Right" was the story of Majesty, Laken and yes, Kendrick. Majesty and Kendrick had a long history, but after years of lies, cheating and blatant disrespect, she had to let him go. Laken took one look at Majesty and wanted her for his wife, and told her so! After being broken up for two years, Kendrick still could not give up on the idea of Majesty, and would not accept the reality of her with anyone else. Excellent read!

I liked learning about more of Sunny’s people
Great story, but at times the dialogue was laborious, lengthy, loquacious and at times didn’t feel genuine to some of the characters.
A lot of the characters clothing descriptions or color choices sounded the same as previous stories or characters descriptions, lots of browns, oranges and Nike Air Vapormax.
But the characters are easy to love, or hate like Kendrick, or annoying, making it relatable to people we encounter day to day.

Tugged at my heart a little.
Loved Majesty and like together. The author did a great job at telling this story of love and the struggle of dealing with someone with mental illness. Kendrick was stuck on Majesty for years not realizing that the hurt he caused couldn't be fixed. Majesty heart was just so huge she didn't want him to hurt anymore than he already was, but sometimes you have to completely let go.

Money and Lake
Wow....so something in me initially was rooting for Money and Kenny to get back together just bc I'm a sucker for a good redemption story and I truly felt bad for everything he went through BUT Laken was that guy and he wasn't having it. And Kendrick couldn't see past Majesty or his demons. I loved how the author touched on mental health and treatment even though there wasn't a favorable outcome in this case. Glad they got their HEA

An absolute best seller !
This book was great from beginning to end and I really enjoyed reading it. Things with both Majesty and Kendrick were tragic and although I feel like she went about ending things with him the wrong way, Kendrick was too far gone to comprehend that he would never have her again. I’m glad she woke up and that she found her happiness and I hope Kendrick finally gets the help he so desperately needs.

Love is Amazing
This book is amazing. From beginning, middle, and end. Filled with lots of drama but also issues in real life. Love was found for two people that happened by chance but when you know you know. This book reads very fast but tells a complete story. Great job by a great writer.

I throughly enjoyed this story it made me cry and laugh and smile at how you really can find love when you’re not looking for it! Majesty is my girl I love her and Laken is what every lady wants a man to protect them and be truthful and faithful at all times and that damn Kendrick should have got his ass whooped

He missed out on a good thing
Kendrick never had a chance, but I'm glad Lake came to love Money right. This book taught a powerful lesson about love, forgiveness, and moving on. You don't have to remain loyal to a toxic relationship because you've invested a lot of time with them. It's best to always choose happiness, and Money found her happy place.

Great read
This is y second book by Courtney and I’m looking forward to the next! Laken and Majesty are such a neat love story. I was glad Laken’s love was not one of pain. So many times it seems like we have to experience the Kendrick version of love and pain and hurt and disappointment and excuses to settle for our watered down version of HEA. But Laken brought to goods!

I loved this book by Courtney Irving! This book was really good! I loved how Laken loved Majesty and she loved him! I kind of felt bad for Kendrick and I know he was sick but I was hoping he got better, but I just knew he was going to do something bad!!
