She’s the only woman to ever run from me. Literally bolted and left me alone—fantasizing about the scene we’d perform at Club Silken. Six months later, the sexy runaway bridesmaid, Kayla, is back in town and I’m stuck escorting her down the aisle at our friend’s wedding. She’s more beautiful than I remember—a vixen in heels who feeds my desire to show her exactly what she missed.
Six months of intense therapy has allowed me let go of my ugly past and heal old wounds. I’m ready to live—quench the passion building inside me. Seeing Nick at the wedding sends my heart racing and makes me crave what he offered. His lifestyle scares me, yet the dark promises in his gaze are enticing and I find myself helpless to resist his touch, his kiss, his promise of ecstasy.
I didn't like it as much as the first. Nick was just okay. I thought for sure there was going to be a whole lot more to her backstory, but there wasn't especially for all the drama Kaylab did in the previous book was just okay too.
Now is Chelsea going to wind up with the hot driver, Taylor, or the third partner, Slider, or both of them ....
Book 2, Come Hot, just think about that title for a moment....
Yup, it is hot and even better than the first book. I just loved Nick and Kayla.
He is a super hot Alpha, seriously into the BDSM lifestyle and doesn't think he'll ever find "the one" woman who will excite him and accept all his kinks.
Kayla met Nick one night through friends at Club Silken. Seeing a scene that disturbs her, she disappears from the club and from everyone in her life for six months.
Upon returning, she sees Nick again at a wedding rehearsal. He takes her to one of his nightclubs dancing and the sparks fly!!
Nick is worried about letting her into his "life," can she handle all he wants to give her? He ends up finding out why Kayla ran away and how badly she needs a strong man she can trust in her life. He vows to be that man.
Holy hell hotness, bondage, toys and dominance is what comes next! But in the sweetest, kindest way if that makes any sense. I don't always get how it happens and where my mind goes but I think you will love Nick and how he loves Kayla the further you get into this book.
Another short, quick read that the story was as good as all the action. It could have been longer for me.
I received a complimentary copy of Come hot in exchange for an honest review. If you are into BDSM and lot so drama then this is a good fit. Nick and Kayla definitely kept things interesting.
"Why do I have the feeling you and I are either going to be fighting or fucking most of the time?
What a fast-paced, sexy read by Jerrie Alexander. Another thumbs up than the first book in her Club Silken series, but I still feel it could have used more of a suspense, thrill to it. I felt like I was teetering on the edge of the cliff as if Kayla's past was going to magically appear and Nick would protect her in some way- but overall, I felt Come Hot was more enticing, and erotically-captivating. I finished this book within one sitting.
Kayla had spunk and was feisty- which paired perfectly with Nick, who was protective and caring. Even though both characters had a certain persona of what their futures looked like... their minds took another path when their desires led their hearts and minds.
Now, my question is will Slider and Chelsea become a pair? I can't wait to find out in Come Together

Come Hot is yet another book by Jerrie Alexander I never wanted to put down. Two hearts that were dead set against marriage and never through they would find love and let down find what they least expected in each other.
Kayla has suffered through so much pain in her life, but she is determined to not let it hold her back. She is a strong vibrant character and very relatable.
Nick was determined to alway be a bachelor. Never wanted to settle down and never understanding why, yet, love knocked him on his ass. Jerrie Alexander has written an amazing transition in Nick without it feeling forced, which is no easy feat.
This series is different and easy to read but the depth of the characters and the stories they have to tell make this a must read series for me. Kayla and Nick had an instant attraction to each other but PTSD and lingering issues from her childhood have Kayla pulling back. Can Nick help Kayla overcome her past or will his own commitment issues force them apart. Club Silken is the place to find all these answers.
Overall a good story, but very similar to the first book. This has characters from the first book, it can be read as a standalone. Kayla grew up in an abusive home. She s wary of getting into a relationship that may be the same. Nick is a loner and doesn’t do long term and never wants to marry. They’re both drawn to one another and hook up. They take it slow and Nick respected her limits and helped ease her into the bdsm lifestyle. I received an arc from Netgalley for my honest opinion.
Kayla and Nicks turn at the Silken apple of sex/relationship. The book is a fast paced read that uncovers a lot of how Kayla got so jumpy from the first book and how she will get to the other side with Nick and her girls. Another book I lost sleep over.
I liked this one more then the first. The characters fitted well together and yes they were either fighting or in bed. The chemistry between the characters made this one. The BDSM is more off a gimmick in the story instead of being the main focal point. Some scenes were hot but again due to the small page count it was a whirlwind of a plot.
Come Hot is the second book in the Club Silken Series. It is Nick Bianca and Kayla Britton’s story. Kayla returns after a 6 month absence just in time for Morgan and Zack’s wedding. She and Nick hit it off when he was showing her around Club Silken before she panicked at a scene and disappeared. They discover the attraction is sill there at the wedding and Nick goes about introducing Kayla to his lifestyle. This book is scorching hot and is a fun read.
Another great book in the series! I love the chemistry between Nick and Kayla, Nick to the relationship slow with her because he could tell she was scared by excited as well. Looking forward to the 3rd book in the series.
I requested both this and the first in the series at the same time, which I probably shouldn’t have done since the first one wasn’t really my cup of tea.
I did enjoy this one slightly more than Come Hard, though it has a lot of the same issues. The relationship develops very fast, which I guess is the nature of novellas, but I always find myself wanting more buildup. I did like the sex better in this one though.
Overall this was an okay read, but not very memorable. I finished it about a week ago and honestly can’t remember much of what happened.
Thank you to NetGalley and Jerrie Alexander for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
This is the second book in the series and you get to meet Kayla in the first book. She is one of Morgan’s friends. Towards the end of that book, she goes to club silken as a guest of Nick. He is taking her around the club when they come to a room that when she sees what is going on inside, she leaves. When looking for her he finds out that she has left the club altogether. Neither Morgan nor Chelsea has heard from her. Six months have gone by when Kayla has shown back up with her friends. Nick is asked by Zach to stand with Slider. Asking why he is told Kayla is back. Wondering what happened to her you come to find out about her abusive childhood and the reason why she left that night. The therapy that she has been in for the last six months and her really not expecting to be excepted back by anyone. Nick though finds himself drawn to her and wants to be with her. You are taken on a journey with these two characters and though this story has sex it is done in a way that only enhances the story and shows the way the two of them feel for each other. This is not rushed by the author but I found myself reading this book quickly and enjoying more than the first one. A very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. “Come Hot” is the second book in the Club Silken series.
In the previous book, readers were introduced to the passionate romance between Nick and Kayla, which all began at Club Silken.
The romance between Kayla and Nick had a fast start, six months previously to the beginning of the book, on a night when Kayla was a guest of Morgan’s at Club Silken and Nick, a business partner and friend of Zach, volunteered to be her guide. However, after seeing a scene at the club that triggered Kayla’s dark memories of her life at her family home she left the Club and Chicago that same night and reappeared six months later, a few days before the wedding of Zack and Morgan. Kayla’s return brought her friends a lot of happiness and she became part of the wedding as a bridesmaid paired with Nick. At the wedding rehearsal Nick and Kayla hit it off again and started to explore the hot chemistry between them and later on the easy way they fit together as Dom and Submissive. In time, both Nick and Kayla opened up to each other through building a relationship based on trust and honesty that led them to fell in love. I am looking forward to the next book in the series to see who can be Chelsea’s love interest.
Come hot is the second book in the club silken series. While it is a continuation of the first book, it can also be read alone as the former main characters are minor characters in this story. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Kayla and nick. It was a great story that showed how both character showed growth from beginning to end. I can't wait to read the third book.
Thank you to Netgalley, Jerrie Alexander and the publisher for the E-Arc. ✨ Summary: book two in the Club Silken series follows Kayla and Nick who we met in book one. This book can be read as a standalone in my opinion. Kayla is back after her sudden departure six months ago. Nick wants to know why she ran out on him. When they’re thrown together at their friends wedding, sparks start flying but Kayla is guarded and not sure she can fit into Nicks lifestyle. Nick doesn’t believe in marriage or long term love. Can the two overcome their issues? ✨ Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: having read book one, i was interested to see how book two would progress. I feel like there was less plot more smut in this book, which is fine. I feel like a little more time could’ve been spent on overcoming Kaylas trauma but maybe that’s just me. Overall another short, steamy and erotically enticing read. I look forward to book three!
Annnnnd book 2 is hotter than book 1! Nick and Kayla really are either fighting or f'n as Nick so eloquently put it LOL.
Kayla's got a bit of a past and has obvious issues - never more evident than when she runs from Nick and they only bump into each other again at the wedding. I kept thinking there was going to be more suspense with this as I just kept expecting some big bad to appear and try and make off with Kayla and Nick was going to have to go and save her. Needless to say I did my usual and read it in one sitting! When you just get sucked into a book like that I can NOT let go until I've finished.
Kayla for all her wariness over Nick is still feisty and no damsel in a dress. Nick may be a Dom but he has a heap of protector too, which literally goes hand in hand with his Dom nature. As usual the characters may think they want one thing when we all know EXACTLY what and WHO they need LOL.
Come Hot by Jerrie Alexander is the second book in the Club Silken Series and it definitely came in hot! Kayla is back in town after disappearing on Nick, her first time going to Club Silken. From the beginning you see and can almost feel the chemistry and energy these two elicit from each other! So many sexy and hot scenes, that I didn’t want to put it down....I read the whole book in one day! I was rather caught off guard though that all of a sudden they both suddenly love each other and then the book ends basically. I definitely feel like there was so much more that could have been added but it just all of a sudden ends with a very quick happily ever after. Don’t get wrong, this book is still hot and I will definitely read the next one! Since I was able to read this as an ARC from the publisher, I will gladly let you know it is worth it!

I just love this series and this author! Kayla had to take a six month hiatus from her friends and life for personal reasons. Now she is back. She is one of the bridesmaids in Morgan and Zack’s wedding. Zack’s best friend Nick is a sworn bachelor, but he is taken back by Kayla. Kayla has a hard past, and things to work through, but Nick wants her as his sub. They have to work through things together. (Not to mention they sex scenes are STEAMY)! I cannot wait for the third book!
Thank you to the Publisher and NetGalley for a free advance copy in exchange for a honest review.
Nick Bianco knows who and what he is and makes no apologies for it. Kayla Britton walked away from him once without an explanation. Now they're thrown back together in their friend's wedding, will it be awkward? Nick knows he wants her and that he needs to go slow with her but he also knows she's submissive. Training her to meet both their needs will be fulfilling. Kayla has a past that has left her scarred emotionally and physically. Putting it behind her has taken work. She's finally ready to really live her life and hopefully Nick will be part of it.
Wow oh wow. So steamy and dirty. Definitely wil keep reading more books by this author. This is what erotic fiction is all about. Thank you for a great book .
Come Hot, is the second book in Jerrie Alexander’s Club Silken Series, and it is HOT! Kayla and Nick have been attracted to each from the moment they met, they are touring Club Silken together when Kayla gets a phone call about a family emergency and then disappears for six months. Now she is back, the sparks are still flying and the temperature is rising. I truly love this little world that Ms Alexander created, I cannot wait for the next book!!
This book was provided to me by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I just wanna cackle. This book was better than the first one, but not by much. I knew what I was getting into when I went to the Erotica section on Netgalley, but I had hoped to get at least a little plot. It was really just one sex scene after another and they weren't even that well written 🤦🏻♀️ This book was quite the waste of time. 1,5 stars for this disaster.
This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. Kayla ran from Nick right before they were to scene together at Club Silken. Now 6th months later she is back and must walk down the aisle together at a wedding. The sparks are still there is Kayla ready this time? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and intense chemistry. Great characters and a sizzling story. I loved it!
This second book in this series is about Kayla and Nick Kayla is back form her family emergency and meets Nick for the second time. The first time she had the hots for him but now it is sparks and bubbles all over. The scenes are hot the writing is phenomenal it draws you in from the beginning. You wish you were there. I love this series. I recommend.
This book was great! I was invested in the characters in a way I was not with the first book. I felt like I had time to really fall in love with both and appreciated the development of their relationship in an organic way. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
After reading Club Silken part 1, I was intrigued by Kayla. So, of course I wanted to see why she ran away. This story has more insight into the characters than the first part, so I enjoyed this part more than the first. And yeah, the story gets your panties in a twist as well. So, enjoy the ride. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
Much better then the first. Not so much instant everything. The characters were developed more, but thing just got solved so quickly. Her reasons weren’t really explained in depth and to be so traumatic for her they should have had more page time. The sex as always was hot and kinky. Easy short read.
Received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
