ok
not great. heroine was really whiny,which is a trait i despise both in real life and in fiction. the constant angst of her status was grating and unenjoyable. bonus stars for the HEA,but the slow burn is not for me. no full adult times until 95%. this wasn't enve a slow burn,it was wet campfire ashes. i will not be reading more of this author. my opinion only. feel free to read and firm your own.

Cindi is a human and the property of the Xu family. Cindi was taken from her bed one night on Earth when she was a teenager. Cindi has been living with aliens traveling the galaxy ever since.
Cindi is completing a task assigned to her by Lady Vidie Xu her owner when she meets a guy, an alien, unbeknownst to Cindi the man she meets is a khin prince, Prince Lette. Cindi is immediately attracted to the guy and he to her. He asks her to have a drink with him but Cindi has to refuse as she is a slave besides she must hurry to complete her task for Lady Vidie or she might be punished or worse sold.
Lady Vidie wants the prince for herself along with a lot of other women and therefore will do anything to keep Cindi away from the prince at the upcoming masquerade ball but not before she uses her to obtain an invitation to meet the prince first of course.
With the masquerade ball coming up, Lady Vidie plans on using that night to woo the prince and become his mate. After seeing Prince Lette and Cindi together Lady Vidie soon realizes that she won’t be able to woo the prince with Cindi around and must find a way to keep Cindi from going to the ball. Which as her owner will not be difficult at all.
I so enjoyed Cindi she is a sweet, fun, outgoing kind of person who is willing to risk everything for love. I loved her happy, sassy demeanor and how she went after what she wanted when the opportunity allowed. I loved how she didn’t let her situation as a slave overtake her life and bring her down. Although I’m sure she has her moments with being a slave and taken from her home and family but you know she pushes all that aside to accept and adapt to what life has dealt her and didn’t let it win. I can’t wait to see what Cindi and Lette have for us in the future. I would really love to see more of these two as they travel the galaxy.

I never thought I'd be a fan of alien romance, but Aria has made a fan out of me. This is an alien/human romance where the human is a slave to an affluent alien family of another species. When all the noble aliens are invited to a royal ball where the prince will choose his mate, she's dragged along with her owner.
Unaware of who the prince is, she quickly makes a lasting impression by speaking freely. This makes him have only her on his list of suitors. Too bad her owner would sale her off to the highest bidder if she ever found out. And the prince himself may punish her if he finds out she's only a slave.
I really loved the romance in this one. I also liked the other princess. She had the mc's back, and I'm really excited to see her own love story with the beast unfold.

This is a great read that is a take on Cinderella set in space with a handsome, curious, and hot charming khin prince who will make you swoon. Hot aliens, steam, and a great romance that I highly recommend. Cindi is the property of the Xu family and a human. While doing a task assigned to her by Lady Vidie Xu her owner she meets a khin prince, Prince Lette. They have an amazing chemistry but her owner wants the prince for her self and will do anything to have him. It's an amazing story and I can't wait to read more.

I've been devouring Aria Starling's books recently and this one is no exception to the addicting world she creates in every book.
Normally I'm ambivalent on Cinderella retellings, but this alien twist was fantastic.
Cindi is a strong heroine and Lette is not the vapid prince he could have been. I love how they compliment each other and I like that Cindi isn't some shy, introverted girl (not that there's anything wrong with that but it's refreshing to read about a heroine that isn't afraid of her sexuality).
Five stars all day from me.

This story had me from the first word! It is superbly written and just an all around feel good story! The instant attraction between Lette and Christi is palpable. Yes it is a story that has aliens but it is to me a very well written story. It has drama, suspense, and was a remarkable story. It will encompass a multitude of feelings and will also have you asking 'Will there be more? ' I sure hope so! These characters are fulfilling and consuming. This was a very good story and one I would recommend.

This Steamy Holiday Sci-Fi Romance book was an amazingly well-written story by a good author, Aria Starling. This book 1 in the Starborn Fairytales Series was interesting it has well-thought out scenes and story plots. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are believable.This wonderful story has the following: intrigue, twists & turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. Good read

I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s got fated mates and a perfect fairytale ending. Cindi is a slave for the Xu family, she meets prince lette while running an errand. They both lie about what and who they are. They meet several times when his cousin’s human mate does a little match making. The Xu family find out and sell her to another alien species, who is worse than the Xu had ever been.

I enjoyed this story of Cindi and Prince Lette. She is a human slave to the Xu family and does the bidding of Lady Vidie. On an errand for her mistress she meets Prince Lette on the street. They are both instantly attracted to each other but they don’t reveal who they are. This is an exciting story with many twists and turns that kept me reading. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cyndi is an abducted human female, slave to a sometimes cruel mistress. She meets Prince Lett while on an errand for her mistress and pretends to be servant. Lett is fascinated with the human but doesn’t realize she’s a slave. It was a fascinating story full of instant attraction and a jealous female that caused problems for the couple. I loved the world building and the ending. The steam was enough to keep me turning pages but I liked the story more.

Once again this author blew me away. It was wonderfully written and flowed so well. Easy to follow along with and hard to put down. The characters once again claimed a place in my heart were they will forever stay. A wonderful holiday alien romance book that will have you feeling all the emotions. A must read.

Part of the Starborn Fairytales series a well written story that had me smiling at somethings. I enjoyed reading khin prince Lette and Cindy's story of suspense, drama, danger,villains and romance. Santa Lette
I like this story, a quick read. Sort of reminds me of Cinderella without the stepsisters. More or less an arrogant alien owner. Some of the actions of Cindi is questionable. I didnt like her throwing herself on the hero like so horn dog or easy lay.

Worth reading!
Very well written.
The set up is interesting and amusing.
The main female is actually kind of annoying and a total ditz. She doesn't seem to use her brain at all.

Very meh. It doesn't even feel like christmas. At least the fMC wasn't insufferable, though "Ms. Jolie" is the fairy godmother here. I still don't like her. And she didn't seem like a royal, no matter how many times the author tried to convince me Elle was regal and elegant.
