As an educator, I wasn't sure how much I would be able to get out of this book but it turned out I was immediately scribbling notes and recommending it to friends and colleagues. There were a number of practices and philosophies the author goes over in great detail that I immediately was able to work into my own teaching practice. Having a vision of where I needed my students to end up has helped me improve my long-term and backwards design planning. Additionally, there are a number of gems from this book that I have used as a basis for teaching my own students about goal setting and, more importantly, follow through. I look forward to passing this book on to principals and teachers in the future, as I know they will get just as much out of it as I have.
I recommend this book to everyone, it may seem strange to read a business book for fun but trust me, we can all work on learning how to set and accomplish our goals. The mindset this book presents is beneficial to all!
