The Stock Market by Andrew Aziz So the book I decided to read was The Stock Market. It's a beginner's guide to investing in trading in the modern stock market. The point of the book is to simplify the intimidating world Of financing and trading for people just getting into it.
Ardi Aaziznia the author of this book is a well-known figure in the trading community and he is the founder of Bayer bull traders.com which is an online community for Traders he has authored several books on trading including.
How to Day Trade for a Living and How to Swing Trade. I would recommend this book to people wanting to get into trading because it sets a good base for just simply understanding what investing and day trading is and it doesn't go too in-depth there are other things for that but just to learn what it even is I think this book is good for anybody trying to learn that.
This book covers a whole bunch of topics and it's very Comprehensive It offers a very valuable Foundation of knowledge but now and then it falls short of providing in-depth knowledge and explaining how to help you navigate your way through the market. The biggest thing about the book is its explanations. It clearly distinguishes what investing is and what trading is kind of laying the groundwork for understanding different strategies.
A big part of the book talks about what brokerage accounts are and their practicality And outlines the biggest key factors when choosing a platform. This book showed that when you're a true beginner and you have no idea what to do, information is Priceless Since it provides a starting point for engaging the market. This book also introduces many different fundamental concepts like market capitalization order types and much more.
This foundational knowledge is very important and very crucial for anyone venturing into the stock market because if you don't know you're going to lose money and not know what you're doing in and goes into more complex topics the level of detail starts to feel a little bit not clear and not enough in a sentence while it touches on technical analysis like chart patterns and indicators it doesn't go deep enough for the people like myself reading it to fully understand how to use these tools and use them in real-world market scenarios.
I think that more diverse examples and going in-depth would help other people reading the book understand these certain tools. The book also introduces fundamental analysis; it doesn't feel like it goes in-depth enough and covers fundamental analysis.
Then it also goes on to mention key metrics like price-to-earnings ratio and return on equity; it doesn't provide enough guidance to fully understand these metrics in the context of a company's overall Financial help. In this case, I think that people just getting into day trading and the stock market would find themselves overwhelmed trying to apply these Concepts to the actual analysis. This book tries to cover Both investing and trading within one single chapter and how it presents a challenge while it shows the differences between the two and explains them. The book sometimes disregards the important parts and the major differences between investing and trading and what the cons are both about them.
And this could be confusing for beginners. For example, it introduces long-term investing strategies but it also indicates a significant portion of day trading and swing trading. Most of these strategies are inherently short-term and high risk; mostly they're not suitable for beginners and the book doesn't emphasize the risks involved. A clear separation of these Concepts maybe with a stronger emphasis on the importance of long-term Investing For Beginners would help people understand the book a lot more.
Another area where the book could improve is risk management. While it briefly mentions the importance of diversification it doesn't go into the various risk management techniques that are crucial for successful investing in trading. topics like position sizing, stop loss orders, and profiling.
Furthermore, the book focuses on the modern stock market and if. The book touches on the technical analysis of the basics of day trading. The book introduces the concept of technical analysis which studies the stock charts and price patterns and predicts the future price and movements and when you should buy yourself.
It briefly explains some common chart patterns like the resistance levels trend lines and a few basic candlestick patterns. It also mentions the RIS index however all these explanations are quite basic for example while it might show a chart pattern it doesn't provide much context on how to interpret indifferent stock market conditions and how to bring together indicators for more readable analysis.
The book also goes a little bit over risk management. The book acknowledges that the most important thing in trading is risk management. It goes over stop and loss orders which are designed to limit potential losses but it doesn't cover other essential management techniques like position sizing diversification with a trading portfolio.
In conclusion stock market explained and provided a decent introduction to the stock market for absolute beginners meaning that you have no idea what trading your investing even if it effectively covers all the fundamental concepts and provides a basic enough understanding of how to get started with investing in trading however while it lacks some depth in certain areas it can still serve as a starting point for learning about the stock market and beginners should supplement this book with other resources to gain a better understanding on how to trade and earn money in the stock market.
I am a student-athlete in college and I tend to come up with the excuse of not having time to read, but I wanted to change that and decided to get an educational book to start my reading journey. As I said I am in college and I hear about the stock market a lot. I have some experience with the stock market, as of right now, and before reading this book I was long in NVIDIA. I decided to read this book to further my knowledge of the stock market and this was a great choice to make. After the first day of reading this book, I was starting to understand more about the stock market. After several days, I was able to hold conversations about the market with my more knowledgeable friends. I finished this book in five days while highlighting and annotating each section/chapter of the book. This opened up my eyes to the stock market and helped me understand, so much more than I thought I knew. One thing that I appreciated was the repetition provided by the authors. Although it may seem annoying to some, it helped drill aspects of the market into my mind. I'm glad that I chose this as one of my first books to start my reading habit and I will continue to read Andrew's book about day trading. Overall, this was a great experience and I'm ecstatic to learn more about the stock market.
This book is jam-packed with everything you need to know about investing in the stock market. There are several chapters I have read and will continue to read multiple times, not because it's over my head, but because there's SO much great info to absorb! The author's writing style is really engaging and enjoyable, and the book flows really well, ending with a great summary of "do's and don't's." I've done some tentative investing in the stock market, but the info here covers the gaps I've had in my own knowledge that have prevented me from investing too much because of my lack of confidence and knowledge.
I enjoyed learning and deepening my understanding of investing and trading from Ardi and Andrew.
I thought this is well written and fills a need for traders and investors to understand how to best identify solid investments and what to look for in developing your financial education whether you actively trade/invest or work with an advisor who invests on your behalf.
Thank you both for sharing and paying it forward and looking forward to reading and learning more from you.
This book is excellent and teaches the reader about the entire market. This book is a must read for any investor and trader. I am very new to the market being involved just over a year and this book taught me many fundamental topics I was should be aware of and now I have a great go to reference book to refer to for the near future. Looking forward to other great book by this author trader.
Excellent book that explains investing in terms that are easy to understand for beginners. This book was very useful and educational for me to learn all the different terms and what to research before I invest in something. I also learned how to have a diversified portfolio. I recommend this to anyone who is a beginner investor, or any investor who has jumped in the market, like me, without research or understanding how the market works.
This is a great book to learn about trading and investing in the stock market. I was more interested in the investment information than trading and I learned a lot. I wish I had read a book like this 30 years ago. Now in my 50s I have a better understanding of having a balanced investment portfolio. This book will teach you the basics and it is really good at that.
This book teaches you the difference between day, shift, and investment traders. Lots of charts, examples, and web sites for additional info. It also stresses there is no get rich quick scheme and stresses what needs to be done to be fairly successful as a trader. It helped me find out that I don’t want to be a day trader but maybe a swing trader. Its easy to read and well worth while. I heartily recommend this book
I found this to be a relatively quick and fantastic read. Ardi does a fantastic job of explaining the differences between being a trader and investor. This book will help any newcomer that is trying to figure out which path to take in the market. There are also plenty of ideas and concepts explained in a easy to follow manner. Fantastic read!!

Ardi’s book was very informative and a good read. Though basic, the book wasn’t condescending. The publication was long on basic information and short on jargon (just the ticket for an equity novice). Bill
I saw a lot of new information in this reading, and I think I will need to read it again (possibly again after that). I’m glad for the repetition and the examples provided.
The book had both day and swing trading strategies. I found that engaging. It also had both fundamental and technical approaches that intermediate traders like myself, Look for in investment books.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Very interesting and helpful to grasp the financial markets. I highly recommend this book! Great for beginners and novices.
