New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that make you work to get your happily ever after. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes, who we love to hate but can’t help but love.
Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over two million copies of her books across twenty different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times.
A mom of three, Kristy finds the only thing harder than finishing the book she’s writing is navigating parenthood during the teenage years (send more wine!). She loves dogs, sports, a good book, and is an expert procrastinator. She lives in Southern California with her family.

What an amazing book! For only being an hour long, this book was so so much fun and of course with K Bromberg it was so well delivered! Had a blast with this holiday quickie! That was sexy and charming. If you are looking to get a quick audio to get some more books in before the end of the year (and we all know how busy we all this time of year so its hard to get books in sometimes), so I recommend this one. 💝The Package de K. Bromberg dentro de la antología All wrapped up for the holidays
Argumento:
“I hate him. On the spot. For being everything I’m not. For being everything I’ll never have. For being the have when I’m the have-not. He’s all perfect with what I can assume are his skinny models decorating his side while I’m far from it with reindeer antlers and curves and extra padding that doesn’t go away when I shimmy out of the coat I have on. That’s my assumption anyway. Because men as perfect as him should be illegal.” - Julia Jilliland
* * * “Have lunch with me. Come work for me. Spend the night with me. You’re simply amazing.” - Archer McMasters
This was a really quick forced proximity holiday novella. It had a lot of promise, but I didn’t feel any chemistry between the main characters and the power imbalance was too great. It also felt gross that he offered her a job and cash advance and then kissed her. Just seems like a huge HR nightmare.
The narration was enjoyable though and Maxine Mitchell (who narrates the majority of this novella) and Teddy Hamilton were great.
The holidays are going to be here before we know it. I'm starting to collect my holiday reading material. This little "Package" is super short and a whole lotta fun to read.
Dumped, rear-ended, and fired two days before Christmas, mail girl Julia clearly isn't having the time. Things get even worse when she gets stuck in an elevator while delivering packages, and finds herself word vomiting about her awful day and her dislike for the company. It's also too bad Julia doesn't realize the man she's venting to is the owner of said company.
Archer finds Julia beautiful and amusing, empathizing with her shit luck and taking her words to heart about the company and how it's handled. When the pair finally escape their metal prison, Archer can't seem to get the beautiful mail girl out of his head. Feigning a package mix-up in an attempt to see Julia again, Archer pulls one of the swooniest moves ever.
The Package was a sweet, fun, and short little audiobook! The only thing that really bothered me was the power imbalance, Archer owns the company she works for and kind of buys her affections lol but it was cute all the same
I had a feeling it would be a trashy romance, and I was right. But it was a quick Christmas read and I am a sucker for those. I would love for the head of an HR department to read this and watch them develop an eye twitch at every violation in this short read...
The Package is a super cute and funny short story set at Christmastime. It is only 52 minutes in duration. My mom and I listened together while we were driving and she really enjoyed it too. Both narrators do a good job. This was included with my audible membership.
Ok so I’m on a mission to find short and sweet audio books that entertain me while I do the normal life tasks shopping, walking, house work.
This one was the shorted one and I actually loved it, 30 mins.
The narrator teddy hamilton was a huge sell for me to read it.
A ceo and a mail worker get stuck in an elevator and after a break down confession, abuse of the company she finds herself with more than a broken heart and a jobless future by the end.
I liked the idea of this story, it had fun potential, but it just didn't quite work for me. There wasn't really anything in particular wrong with it, it was just kind of flat. It didn't leave me with any great feelings one way or the other.

Rating as a movie: R for adult language
My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🏢🛗📦🩲🎄
My thoughts: This is a leftover from last year and boy did I miss out. It only has 4 chapters but they were great. I will be on the lookout for more from this author.
Recommend to others: Yes! This is a quick fix that delivers.
