In teoria.

Perché il metodo di insegnamento pensato è "prima dividetevi in squadre e datevele, poi noi grandi vi facciamo vedere come darsele in maniera figa".
E per "maniera figa" intendono "unendo in maniera creativa i nostri poteri". Molto creativa.

Honey Badger is back!!! 😍
But why is she Scout and not Honey Badger 😤 Dislike.

Gabby is asking the important questions though. Why shouldn't clones be resurrected? A clone of a mutant is still a mutant. They lead their own lives separate from the original mutants, they have their own identities and memories, making them real persons with rights.

I had no idea Evan / Kid Apocalypse died. And the Council really isn't bringing any clone back? What a load of bollocks.

A New Mutants issue that finally feels like a New Mutants issue!
Fun action scenes and a lot of heart. Warlock is front and center! Yay!
I'm so glad that wasn't X-23 on the cover! I'm so sick of Laura. And Scout makes a really good point. Being a clone shouldn't matter. The x-clones are people in their own right. The Quiet Council should admit why they aren't resurrecting Madelyn. She's crazy and dangerous. Picking and choosing who gets resurrected is unfair but not unjust. Someone should reassure poor Scout! She's just a kid.
Shadow King! Hell yes!

Hmmmm....

New Mutants was one of my favourite re-launch titles, this new jump.... I'm not sure. Straight off the bat the art style is not even a little for me, hate is a strong word but I really, really disliked it. Whilst it may be for some people and it may work in some instances for me the style strikes as lazy and half assed.

Warpath randomly appearing whilst cool, I love Warpath, where did he come from? Founf it a bit odd. The humour which typified the earlier series was gone, a few bad jokes were included, the self deprication was missing and this isn't a title that should take itself too seriously.

It's clearly setting up for another long arc with the SK being the big bad, thats fine and I'll give it time to play out I just hope it doesn't lose the fun of the earlier entries into the series.

The classic New Mutants are just hanging out in Krakoa, and this issue marks their new mission of teaching (or at least playing with) younger mutants who have too much unstructured time. They have dropped the Gen X members Chamber and Mondo for, reasons. And Warpath is now hanging out with them for, I dunno, reasons.

Did not like this artwork.

Rhane used her new multiplying power for, I think, the second time ever?

Marvel is apparently going all-in on this idea that mutant powers used in concert with each other are more powerful and more interesting. They called it "mutant technology" in the issue of S.W.O.R.D. that dropped last week. It seems to be an idea that got started from the now-cancelled Fox TV show, "The Gifted." The New Mutants used their powers in conjunction this issue in ways we had never seen before, and even in ways that don't make any sense-- how exactly do Magik's stepping disks increase Moonstar's range, other than simply allowing Dani to move?

Is Marvel trying to copy Steven Universe, and how cool fusions were on that show?

New Mutants has kinda' been up and down since it started, but this new creative team (although Reis has already illustrated several issues) really hits the spot.

For one, as much as I dearly love the classic New Mutants team, it's good to have this book now feature some actual new mutants. Sure, many of them have been around for a while, but they're still the new generation of mutants, and this is where they really belong. Of course, the original team is still here, but now they're offering guidance and training.

Gabby is one of my favourite characters, I loved her in the All New Wolverine run, and it's great to not only see her here, but to have her asking awkward questions about clones and resurrection. These are questions that can't continue to be fudged for much longer, and if Gabby actually dies there are going to have to be some hard decisions made.

And then we have the Shadow King...and just what might he be up to? And how might it relate to Karma's nightmares, considering that she was possessed by him for a time?

Only time will tell, but I'm looking forward to getting some answers!

Very good art, in that wild, sketchy, painterly style that has been associated with New Mutants since Bill Sienkewicz did it. I like the idea, of having the new mutants teaching then very young mutants. The concern about resurrecting clones brought up by Gabby (who I'd never heard of but seems great) was interesting. The shadow king is creepy. A very good issue.

The shaping of young minds on two ends of the spectrum. It’s something to see and can’t wait to see how it plays out as well if both are altruistic. That stuff about Pryror isn’t right . She wasn’t a citizen so want subject to the laws.

Vita Ayala is finally on a stable ongoing series, and their new direction for the New Mutants is great. It's going to be a great run.
