Read this for my mid-level execs class at work. That says pretty much everything you need to know about this book. 😊 Actually, not the worst book they had us read. Interesting concept of polarity – try to find solutions to conflicts that give everyone what they want rather than one party getting their way. Also not to be confused with compromising – everyone should be able to get EVERYTHING they want by getting to the root of what it is they actually want on a deeper level. That, in 400 pages… so many examples! And one diagram. Someone in my class actually said this was his #1 thing that he learned and gained from the class and that he will be able to use it daily in his mid-level exec-ing. And I don’t think he was being facetious or sarcastic.
