They call us the devil twins - a fallacy and unfair assumption on everyone’s part.
Well... mostly.
My name is Luke Hart, and I’m the oldest of identical twin boys. Although I may be responsible for the ‘devil’ in our name, I have no urge to set the record straight and exonerate the innocent half of our pairing.
There’s no point letting the truth get in the way of a good story.
Right?
Not so.
Turns out, a judge can get twitchy when you arrive at court with a ‘can’t touch this’ attitude.
Despite my mom’s best efforts, I’ve been served a tidy little sentence that I’ll have to do behind bars, unless I complete my community service and satisfy court orders.
I have until Christmas to finish, but if I fail, I’ll be spending the holidays avoiding the mistletoe in the shared showers in lockup.
It all sounds so easy. So straightforward.
Do the hours, avoid jail.
That is, until Allyson Moore walks in.
Now court orders are the furthest thing from my mind, and decades long family friendships go completely ignored, because I can’t stop looking at Ally’s enchanting green eyes, or her dark red hair the colour of Snow White’s poisoned apple.
The temptation to take a bite is simply too much.
Ally is a rule follower. A goodie-goodie who refuses to bend. Which, to me, is the ultimate challenge.
I want to know what’s burning beneath the surface. I want to see her passion, her fire, her attitude. And not the professional façade she’s so good at putting up.
It’ll be a battle of the wills. My devil, versus her obsession with being perfect.
I mean, rules were made to be broken, right?
Breaking them is how I met her in the first place.

I actually enjoyed this one, which is surprising as I haven’t enjoyed this series much. I can only put it down to it not being the Evie show, she’s not in this book and only mentioned once or twice! Thankfully 😅
These characters are great as they have hardly been mentioned before so it’s fresh! Even the invisible Emma has some time I was getting worried she had died or something because she’s not even mentioned in her bother or sisters books....
I’m not sure I like the route it’s taking with her and Rob getting together in the next book but I guess I’ll have to read it and see how that pans out. We have already had the same storyline with iz and Jimmy getting together and meant to be “family” and brought up together as they like to say constantly so I can already feel that happening. I’ve found that a lot throughout though I guess it’s because there’s so many characters in this town and she’s running out of avenues to take them in so they follow in their parents storylines I guess lol.

But overall I liked Luke and Ally’s story. It mainly evolved around her life and her back story to be honest his family are mentioned but they aren’t really involved which I liked. I really enjoyed Jon and tinks book so maybe that’s why I enjoyed this one.

BOOM!

I honestly didn't think anyone could top the Sasquatch for me but Pukey Lukey may have just done it! This devil twin is really an angel in disguise. His last name may be Hart instead of Kincaid but like his "cousins" - when you know, you know. I don't know how Emilia Finn keeps up her pace while still keeping the stories so fresh and exciting but her crew is ever so thankful that she does!!!

Analyze Me

How can you not fall in love with Luke Hart? Once again Emelia I've fallen in love with the main characters. Luke the "never a dull moment person" and then Ally the "analyzer". I never want your stories to end.

Luke is my new favorite!

I swear I write the same thing every time but I LOVE EMILIA FINN! I am so invested in this entire family and each book captures my heart in a new way. Luke and Ally do not disappoint!

I found this author a few months ago and have binge read all her books. I have been so excited to read her last two books but both have been a miss for me. Ugh it makes me sad.

Our hero Luke is so immature and ridiculous in this book. He was a big turd that couldn’t keep it in his pants. Not sexy at all. I like Ally more though truthfully I am more interested in her parents love story. She has moments where I was completely engaged but then Luke would bring her down.

I still haven’t given up on this author. I really want to read the next one.

She has done it again!!!

This series just keeps getting better and better. The stacked decked series has it all. You will be laughing so hard you pee your pants one minute to crying so much you go through a box of tissues then to being told you have anger management issues because its not normal to yell at your book/kindle or throw it across the room (who knew). This installment was no different. Luke and Ally have undeniable chemistry, you will definitely laugh more then you will cry (I did get a bit emotional towards the end).Emilia has a way of writing that makes you feel like your apart of the characters world and that your right their with them experiencing all of the emotions. You get snippets of your favourites from the very first series. Love hearing about them.Tink is hilarious. There was a couple of times I needed a cold shower because man those scenes are HOT, HOT, HOT. I can not recommend this series enough. So do yourself a favour and READ it. You will not be disappointed. The only thing you will be thinking is why didn't I discover this amazing world sooner. Plus the author is pretty amazing :)

Ah, the devil twins...

Luke wants to live life to its fullest. So what if that means a new girl every night or breaking a few laws? He's not hurting anyone - well... sort of? Faced with the possibility of prison time, some changes must be made. Little did he know what his "anger management" would bring.

Ally is the epitome of a control freak. A city girl who likes things structured and planned out. Heading into a small town to complete her practical hours for her psychology degree pushed her limits for more than one reason. Then Luke...

Luke is the ultimate golden retriever. Fun, energetic, completely loveable. You'd think meeting Ally would dampen his light, but instead, he shines brighter. Knowing that being around Ally would change him gave me pause, but I shouldn't have worried.

Ally, on the other hand... It was beyond entertaining to see Luke push her out of her comfort zone. Especially with "Chester."

Overall, I'm not sure I've laughed this much in a LONG time. Great book, great story, and I can't wait to see what happens with the other twin.

Anyone that has read an Emilia Finn book knows that Roller Town is special. There's not even a question about that. However, I just couldn't be sucked into the story like some of the other Stacked Deck books. It didn't have the same natural charm and quaintness that has become expected. If I didn't know better, Rob sounded just like Jaime. They have the same basic personality and emotional themes. The ending is really what saved the whole book, but it wasn't enough to rate 4 stars. I was more excited to see other characters from previous books than I was to read about Rob and Allyson. For example, I giggled when Abigail appeared in the flower shop with Romeo, and then I felt guilty because this was just a small scene. It shouldn't have been that exciting versus the overall plot. I am hoping that Busted is better in clearing up some of these mixed feelings. This is definitely not one of my favorites.

The Dynamite book is book ten of the Stacked Deck Series, a Rollin On series spinoff. This series focuses on the second generation of the Rollin On series characters. All by the same author Emilia Finn. Please start with the Rollin On Series, PLEASE. I cannot stress that enough. It is not required, but it makes these so much better. You need all the background from the first series.

This book is fresh, so fresh that you, the parents from the previous books, but we have only snippets for the devil twins, so this is almost a new storyline. I am so excited. Luke Hart is Jon and Casey Harts’ son, a set of twins. It features his first true love, and her name is Allyson Moore or Ally. This book is full of love and overcoming things in your way.
The character development was good and well thought out; it did not build on the reader's knowledge from previous books.

This book has a HEA, and it does not have a cliffhanger.

3 1/2 ⭐️

While i love Emilia Finn. Dynamite was similar to the other books in this series, it didn’t have anything unique that caught my attention that I would say “ I’m gonna remember this book forever”.

Spoiler
.

If there is something I hate in a book is when there is a scene when the guy is with another girl. Ugh biggest pet peeve! And for it to be the first chapter no thanks. I know she wanted him to be seen as a player and that he didn’t take anything serious but good gracious you did not have to go so far IMO.
It also took my a while to get over his “playful” “I don’t care” attitude.
When he said he didn’t want her “tainted” I almost stopped reading. I just could not get over the fact that Emilia made this douche bag her protagonists. But yes he redeemed himself and got the girl, I was just expecting a more like able character. Ally was perfect!

Hart boys are to die for!

I never thought that another woman would make me think they were close to an equal with momma Tink, but holy cow, Miranda was such an amazing addition to this story! I loved how close she and Ally were and how Ally had to try to keep her mother’s “crazy” under control! What a parallel to her time with Luke! To see the strength of Ally that bloomed from her mother and the strong woman before her, despite their dire circumstances when she was born, it cemented that she and Luke were meant to be together. Totally blown away at the unexpected (but kinda ventured in my mind that direction while I was reading) curve of events. Another masterful adventure that added one more name to the book boyfriend list! Cannot get enough of this series and all the characters!

Sweet Addition to the Series

I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily . This is book 10 of the Stacked Deck series.

Triggers:

Spoilers:
Luke: son of John and Casey (Finding Redemption, Rollin On Series b5), works in the family business, all around jokester, gets caught in some drama and is court ordered to counseling and community service

Allyson: comes to town to intern at a therapists office, who is also the great grandmother she never knew. Because she had no family growing up beside her mom, Allyson is reserved with her heart.

This is a quick story (3 months) with very little angst or conflict. Hallmark sweet with a side of steamy goodness.

😍😍😍😍

Wow!!! Its true what they say...when you know, you know!!!! just like his parents Luke fell in love fast and hard!!! And what a ride it was!!! And to have Jason come in and mess it all up, dang him!!!! The love that Luke has for Ally is a kind of love everyone dreams of having, even the rough parts of it that they had!!! I love that we got to see his parents in this one, and that they passed on the fierceness and strong loyalty of family!!!! I can't wait to read the next one!!! Emilia Finn you are amazing at writing some great love stories!!! Thank you!! Keep them coming!!!!

One more book after this one! I’m having anxiety issues wondering what Emilia will write about now🤯🤦🏻‍♀️. I loved Luke! Possibly more than I love Ben! He was mature and wise beyond his years, sometimes. He was immature and impulsive too. I think he received a bum rap from an over zealous judge and maybe his lawyer isn’t as good as she thinks she is. Ally frustrated me with her immature, naive, stubborn nature. Her immaturity over shadowed her need for control in her life. Their love story was fantastic! It was written with the heat and steam that I missed in Mac and Bean’s story. If you have not read Emilia’s books, in order is a must, you are missing out on greatness.

Ooooohhh Luke

I’m gonna be honest, I was on the fence about being excited for the devil twins. They’ve always been mentioned, but just in passing & I never really latched onto them. But HOLY MOLY!!! I’m not sure this series would’ve been complete without them!!
Luke, the eternal bachelor, just...fell! It took one look & he was gone. He’s so spontaneous & inappropriate that it’s just plain adorable. And Ally is so structured & uptight, they are just perfect together. They are adorable & 🔥🔥, what more could you ask for?
Now...Rob...that boy has it bad!! I can’t wait for Busted now. Such a great setup for that epic story to be told.

Amazing

When Emilia Finn releases a new book, I always jump on it. Like her many, many devoted fans, I need to see what she has in store for us next....and she NEVER disappoints! You would probably enjoy this book if you hadn’t read all the ones that came before it, but you wouldn’t really LOVE it and actually understand all the other characters & relationships. So do yourself a favor & start the Stacked Deck series from the beginning, so you can really love Luke & Ally’s Story like it deserves to be loved. Thank you, Emilia for this wild ride you have taken us on with this next generation of Rollers. I’ve loved every minute of it!

Emilia did it again, we are in lurveee with Luke and all the Rollers. Can we move to the estate?

Luke and Ally…. She's a proper uptight city girl who has recently moved to the “wild west,” as she calls it. Luke is one half of the “devil twins” he is charming, a fighter, and not what Ally is looking for. He’s the son of John and Tink Hart, from the Rollin’ On series, and he is a mess. But even messy he wants epic love like his parents.

On a chance encounter, Ally is on the phone with her mom getting an iced coffee at the local bakery when Luke Hart unexpectedly returns her I love you. The relationship that develops makes you say all the “awes.”

Luke & Ally

I think I laughed more during this book than I did in all the others. Luke is such a fun spirited man while Ally is much more serious, I think there is a spirited soul deep down inside her.
I loved this book but there was one thing that bothered me, it’s a spoiler so I’m going to throw some spaces in so people can skip it, if they don’t want it.

Spoiler!!!
Luke’s sentence at the end of the book is crap!!!! He would have been better off taking the 60 days then having to commit to a lifelong job, and youth center that he needs to maintain for life! Yes the 60 days makes him miss the tournament but he wasn’t allowed to go to it anyways!!

Thrilling

I’m so overwhelmed with Luke, I really dislike immature guys, but he kinda grows on you. I LOVED Ally! Ally is so strong and such a good caring person. I think that Ally and Luke are perfect for each other! I don’t want to give too much away because of spoilers both for this book and the next (I mean they are twins, lol) but the book was a typical Emilia Finn book! Total roller coaster of emotions, well written and swoon worthy characters, and I LOVED the last paragraph that was in italics!

I think I'm in love...

If you have never read an Emilia Finn book before this one you're in for a treat. Go find Bobby, start at the beginning and enjoy every moment until you get back to this point. IFFFF you are not a newbie, let me just say she has done it again. My heart- stolen. My mind - blown. My feeling of Belonging and seeing family again - priceless. Luke was everything I wanted and more BUT he did still leave me with two questions: where is Chester and what happened at the pet food factory?!

Funny, sexy, emotional read

I am an Emilia Finn fan, so I know I have bias, but Dynamite had me laughing, my heart pounding, and my nails a little more ragged then when I began reading. Having already read Jon and Tink’s story, reading about one of their “Devil twins” was like coming full circle. This installment of the Stacked Deck series is definitely more light-hearted and jovial, but still has enough angst and drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!

Hilarious, great read

Yet another great book from Emilia Finn! Luke and Ally's chemistry is HOT! But their personalities are great together too. They challenged each other in all the right ways so they both grew as people.. So many funny moments. I loved all the thoughts they had that were hilarious. Love reading first person so we get all those insights. Amazing book. If you haven't read any of her books yet, run now! Go to her Rollin On series and start there and you won't regret it.

Oh em gahhhhhhhh. Can I please get a Luke of my own?

Have you ever danced with the devil in the snow? I do totally would if it meant I could dance with Luke Hart like I had not a care in the world. The class clown with a heart of gold falls for the straight laced goodie goodie and is left with a hole in his heart that can only be filled when she finally decides that she can’t let 20 years slip by without the love of her life.
Once again, Emilia has given the world another fictional book boyfriend.

A Head Case

Allyson is trying hard to figure out why she feels so out of place in very small town America right now. She is almost a college graduate needing to do a on the job training for being a therapist. So she reaches out to Sonia Riviera in hopes to sit in with her. And get to know her. On her first day she meets one of the devil twins on the way there. And in true Luke fashion he is all over the pretty new comer. Just like every other book in this series, I absolutely loved this book. So well written and fits in very nicely with all the rest of the books.

Don't go breaking my Hart

Loved it! Let's be honest... anything by Emilia Finn is amazing! If you haven't yet read one of her books, you really should. Just saying, life altering stuff happening here. You really shouldn't miss out. Luke Hart! Omg Luke!! So funny, charming, and sexy. Plus he's got an identical twin!! Can't wait for more on that. Luke & Ally's story was so good. I laughed, I cried, and I laughed some more. Couldn't put this book down. A must read. Thank you Emilia Finn. Another fun ride through Roller Town; riding shotgun next to you is always a good time. 😉

Be still my heart!

Emilia has knocked it out the park again (like I doubted she would!). Luke’s story took my heart and twisted it all up. I’m glad Luke met his match and cannot wait for Rob’s story, but as with every book from Emilia, when I finished the last sentence my heart dropped because I didn’t want it to be over, I always want more of these characters. I’m devastated that this is the penultimate book in the series but I can’t wait to see what is in store for us avid fans in the future. Thanks for another wonderful trip to Roller Town Emilia x
