Abigail/ Abi, she is weird, not like her family—all serious and business-y—she is quirky, and has unique, with custom designs.
Oh, k Abi has a reputation for being more than a bit crazy, but the truth is, it’s only in some ways. Mouth? Zero filter. And yes, she has walk on the wild side! Now and then, she’ll go back to visits sometimes, until she sees her high school nemesis (Emily) & then Abi falls into her siblings old trade of FAKE
Lorenzo-He’s Violet’s cousin, a chef from Positano. He travels, cooking all over the world. He’s smart . . . funny . . . and passionate about life. Oh gosh, he is sexy as sin, did I mention that he is Italian
I must say this is a well written story with great characters, amazing chemistry between Abigail & Lorenzo, plenty of drama, lots of LOL moments, & plenty of steamy moments.
My Big Fat Fake Honeymoon by Lauren Landish is the story of Abi Andrews and Lorenzo Toscani. Abi comes from a wealthy family who are very loving but she has went on her own to start a flower shop that is just hers. So her whole focus is on the Sweet Pea Boutique that she has and doesn't take time for a real relationship. But when she ends up going to a destination wedding she ends up meeting a frenemy witch leads her into a fake relationship with Lorenzo. Lorenzo is a busy Chef who doesn't do relationship but likes to have a good time. So let the games begin with these two who are pretending to be in relationship that starts to feel too real. I am a big fan of this author's writing and I do recommend it along with of course this book. Fun Hot Read.
Pleasantly surprised of how consistently you not only made me laugh but made me soooo hot and bothered with all 3 stories! Is there one more? Can you pretty pleaseeeeeee? Everyones story differs yet so connected, Ross married Violet who is his sisters best friend, Abbie and Candace. Kaede is Ross best friend who then married his sister, Candice. Lorenzo is Violet's very Italian cousin who married Abbie. Love, love, love all 3....more, more, more! Thank you!
STEAMY fun! This author's books are always sexy, but you might need to keep a fan at the ready with this one because it is HOT. From the tropical location to the Italian hero to all of the risqué yoga poses, this one brings the heat. It's still a light, fun read with plenty of humor, but the romance definitely has that vacation fling feel. While I wish a little more of the focus had been on the emotional connection (these two are essentially strangers, after all), it's the kind of low angst read that will brighten up your day.
The story follows Lorenzo and Abi, two people who met at a wedding and felt an instant connection. Abi's too career-oriented for a relationship and Lorenzo's the kind of guy who never stays in one place long enough to have a real one, but that doesn't stop the sparks from flying between them. When they run into each other a second time, Abi tells an old frenemy that she's on her honeymoon... with the guy she barely knows. Her little lie snowballs into something much larger, as all that faking starts to feel very real.
I've enjoyed this light, funny series so far and this was no exception. It's not my favorite in the series (the sexiness felt like too much at times and led to a lack of an emotional connection), but it's still a fun read. There's almost zero angst, and this hero will steal your heart with ease. Lorenzo is everything you could want in a hero, and I loved his vulnerable side. The two of them together are a great combo, and there was certainly never a dull moment. If you're looking for something light and sexy, this has humor, heart, and HEAT. I received an early copy via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review of this steamy romance.
Abi was raised in an affluent family but was determined to forge her own path. When she receives the opportunity of arranging the flowers for a celebrity’s destination wedding which could take her business to the next level it is everything she could have wanted and more until she runs into one of the other guests.
Lorenzo has been hired as the chef at the same wedding so when Abi needs him to play a part, he is definitely the man for the job even if they had only met once before at a wedding they were both attending.
Humor, heat and all the feels as Abi and Lorenzo try to fool everyone into believing they are a couple, but they may just find out the only people they are fooling are themselves.
I freaking love Lauren's writing. Like, seriously, I don't think this lady can write anything bad. It's not in her DNA.
I couldn't wait for Abi to get her HEA. And what a lucky biotch she is as she just happens to snag the latest Italian import and Vi's cousin, Lorenzo.
Abi and Lorenzo were both hired to work the destination wedding of the year in Aruba. Abi took care of the flowers for all of the events leading up to the wedding and Lorenzo was the chef. Abi and Lorenzo had met at Courtney's wedding and Abi thought they might have a night together but Lorenzo left and then they meet up again in Aruba where Lorenzo helps Abi save face again her high school nemesis. I mean, what is the worst that can happen, right?
Gah! This was such a good book and total page turner.
I would love to see Janney and Archie get their HEA's, but, not together, because, you know!
Abi meets Loorenzo at her sister's wedding. There is an attraction there, but nothing happens.
Life moves on and Abi is at a destination wedding in Aruba, where she runs into her high school nemesis. While giving Abi the poor you, you are still all alone song and dance, Lorenzo steps in and says Abi is with him. Abi goes one step further and says they are on their honeymoon too.
Lorenzo decides to be a good sport and help Abi out. He's there for the wedding too ( they are both working).
In this slow burn obvious attraction, the chemistry is so hot and thick that by the time they get together you feel like shouting " finally". There are nasty characters you want to slap, crazy characters that make you laugh and a story that will make you feel good.
A enjoyable, satisfying read.
Thank you to Lauren Landish for the advanced copy.
♥️🌼My Big Fat Fake Honeymoon🌼♥️ is the latest book in a series of standalones....Abigail Andrews is the quirky, somewhat scheming sister of Ross and Courtney ... she’s Violet’s bff....and the semi- “black sheep” in her family...Abi works hard in her own flower shop and can take care of herself....but Abi is unlucky in love...plus she has an immature, competitive, jealous, high school nemesis, Emily, who just won’t grow up and let it go...When Abi is hired to do a high-profile wedding in Aruba, Emily shows up with her new husband in tow on their honeymoon.....Abi could use a husband...and Lorenzo Toscani, the sexy Italian chef and Violet’s cousin, steps up and gives Abi a “honeymoon”....Good book...Abi and Lorenzo have great chemistry, and the story is good...I like this series...♥️🌼
It is the last book in this Andrews’ sibling series. Each got to meet the love of their life while having a big, fat, fake relationship lie. This story is one of those predictable already seen several times stories where the main character meets the meanest girl from school ten years later while being on vacation (in this story on work assignment). Need to prove that life has been as successful as it could get starts this who is better by whom game. That is how the main character Abi gets to fake a honeymoon with an irresistible Italian chef.
The story was not bad, but it was not good either. Two main reasons: 1) I particularly do not like that this “nemesis person” is never as great as the main character. Why in this relationship battle, the nemesis gets to marry a person that is not a soulmate, or not madly in love, or are less spontaneous? Does that mean that each mean girl in school marries the wrong guy? Missed opportunity to make this story unique. 2) The main character is created as this honest to the bone, without mouth filter, and brave as a lioness ready to go into battle with anyone, but at the most life-altering moment, she chickened out and could not talk with one person she cared dearly. This story was supposed to be unique because of who she was.
In the end, this story was a little too long for my liking. Felt that it was dragging with all the side drama and characters. The best part of this book was the sunny paradise none of us got to visit this year.
Abi and Lorenzo are AMAZING! Bad boy biker chef meets sassy floral designer and sparks fly! This book has everything: a fake friend, bitchy boss, scorching hot 🔥heat, and swoon-worthy 💜 romance. Lauren Landish has done it again, five stars for sure!! 🌟📚
From goofy to mushy, Landish has a style that's all her own. Her characters entice with humor and masterfully run away with your heart. No where is that more evident than with the My Big, Fat, Fake series. With a little slight of hand she orchestrates the perfect takeover. My Big, Fat, Fake Honeymoon dares to be sassy. Lorenzo and Abi have a rough start, but quickly find their footing and pull readers along for the ride. Bold with a side of emotion proves itself to be a heartwarming combination.
Big Fat Sigh! We get an inkling that Abi and Lorenzo are going to be the next two in my Big Fat, Fake Engagement. Abi is the sister that always has the schemes, Lorenzo is the bad boy tattooed Chef. Get these two together and be prepared to laugh! I have never sighed while laughing, but Lorenzo is the ultimate romantic man. The things he says will make you melt! There were so many crazy things in this book....although still lost on the wedding planner and what her deal was!
The third book in the Big, Fat, Fake series, My Big, Fat, Fake Honeymoon is a well written story with great characters, amazing chemistry, drama, lots of LOL moments, and plenty of steam.
I volunteered to review an advanced reader copy of this book.
Lorenzo and Abis story was a sweet romcom. When Abi bumps into a old nemesis at a wedding she’s the florist of she literally has accidentally stuck her foot in her mouth and is saved by Lorenzo unexpectedly. Abi is not ready for what Lorenzo brings to her life cause she’s so career oriented but she can’t deny the way he makes her feel.
This is by far my absolute favorite book in this series. I love the connection between Lorenzo and Abigail. Lorenzo is swoon worthy and will definitely give you all the feels. I couldn’t get enough of this book. The story and the characters were amazing. Definitely you will want too one click this book.

i have read book 2, (yet to read book 1 ...i am trying to recall when or how did i miss book 1? from this series??!) this book, book 3 i listened to through Audible. it is hilarious. not sure why the "mixed reviews" (both on Audible and Amazon, i always do my research and try to figure out more on books or listens before i make a purchase, i had 2 credits available. i have been finding Audible listens a bit of difficult thing to do lately, my hubby is not working from home and in my space, LOL!! so this is definitely a headphone listen, it would not be cool to do this listen in a professional setting, just saying, LOL!!)??! odd. i loved it. hilarious. now it is not kid (or mixed ears) if you know what i mean there ...folks who might be sensitive to cussing language or not polite conversation. but it is not that bad. compared to others i have heard. i enjoy J.F. Harding's voice. fun accent. Carly Robins ... i believe i have listened to her voice before??! i gotta check. i truly believe that voices make a difference. i wonder how many folks do this?? i mean i have go on my own to look up a narrator's books to see what they have narrating (so forth) fun to do so. i have a bit left ...but i wanted to get this review out. hope you are following here considering i am not allowed to review on Amazon website. i will get it to Audible asap. i am allowed there. that is another story. hope you are keeping up. i love Audible listens. i will say that finding the time sometimes is tough ... if you have lots of free time ... or maybe i should say that you have the time to listen and do other tasks ...then you will enjoy listens like this. so funny. like no drinking while listening ...or that will come out your nose for sure. so girlie giggles ... LL is hilarious. i have read her before ...it will not be my last. check it out! laters. reading (listening) always fun!
Abi Andrews was passionate about flowers from an early age. She built her florist business from the ground up with no help from her wealthy family. When a high profile social media influencer hires her to provide all the flower arrangements for her wedding in Aruba, Abi jumps at the job. Unfortunately, her dream job in paradise turns into a nightmare when a newlywed high school adversary shows up at the same resort. Lorenzo Toscani is a bad boy chef with a bit of a playboy reputation. He will find himself stepping in to the role of a newlywed to his cousins' best friend. Other than the fact that he had met her before, and liked Abi, he's not sure why he thought it was a good idea. He's always been the love 'em and leave 'em type a guy, but there is just something about Abi. Well written, realistic, and laugh out loud funny characters that quickly realize that they just may not want their fake honeymoon to be an end to their fake relationship. Fantastic romantic comedy with unexpected, surprising twist in the plot and a happily ever after. I loved it!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This was great. A sweet fake romance, that had very little angst and lots of heat. Abi Andrews marches to the beat of her own drum. Her family is beyond wealthy, however she chose to branch out on her own and open her own unique flower boutique. This is how she finds herself in Aruba as the designated floral designer for a celebrity beach wedding. Things go sideways when her high school arch nemesis Emily rocks up on her own honeymoon and to save face from Emily announcing that Abi is not yet married when the rest of her siblings are, chef Lorenzo steps up as her fake husband!
As you can imagine, there were lots of awkward moments along the way as these two try and navigate through their fake honeymoon while trying to remain professional in the jobs they were hired for. The double dates with Emily and her husband were nothing short of cringeworthy, with the two women trying to one up eachother at every turn. The couples yoga scene was way too hot for words or further explanation. The chemistry was hot and I loved Lorenzo's romantic Italian flair. Would have loved a bit more depth into their real feelings and have them get to know eachother a little better, but that aside, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC and this is my honest review.
I had no clue how Lauren Landish was going to manage to pull this story off, but she did it in the same unexpected fun, flirty and adventurous way that the previous 2 books in the series were written. Abigail Andrews and her wonderfully crazy, whacky bunch of family and friends are back in this funny fake romance/marriage. The lucky husband is sexy, sweet talking Italian stallion, Lorenzo Toscani, cousin to Violet, and chef extraordinaire who happens to be in Aruba catering the same wedding that Abi is creating her faithful blossoms for. Fun characters, fun story, and lots and lots of sexy time, I wasn’t joking when I called Lorenzo an Italian stallion. He certainly has met his match with Abi though. No games, just pure unadulterated fun. A highly enjoyable addictive RomCom. Which canquite easily be read as a standalone, but the characters will be appreciated to their fullest if you’ve read the previous 2 books. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
Meeting you was fate, falling in love was beyond our control...
Abi and Lorenzo are perfect for each other. This was one sexy swoon worthy story.
Abi is self-made in her business of being a florist extraordinaire. She lands a wedding gig in the tropics for a famous Instagram influencer, Claire Johnson. This could be the boost she needs to take her business into the stratosphere. But when she arrives at the hotel she runs into her rival from school, Emily. As Emily berates and belittles Abi, a knight in shining armor who bears the name Lorenzo, swoops in to save the day. The next thing "no filter" Abi panics and says that they are on their honeymoon. Lorenzo is seductive, sultry and sexy as sin. Not too shabby to have as a fake husband.
This was such a fun and entertaining story. Lauren Landish's stories always make me laugh, which is why I hope there are more books in this series.
My Big Fat Fake Honeymoon by Lauren Landish a blooming five-star read. Once again Lauren Landish proves why I love her writing, she is funny and romantic and sexy enough to heat the pages without being ott. This one was on a par with sliced bread and Betty White, just that good. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was not finding out more about Meredith, she left me wondering. Abi really was a wonder, you could understand her so deeply, I enjoyed all of the characters, even the flowers and food, as they played a large part of the story, but Lorenzo well Lorenzo could come cook for me anytime, it was like snuggling with a warm blanket reading this as I have loved all of the Big fat books, but they can all be read as stand-alone, but when you read you will want to get to know them more.
A really hot fun read As always Ms. Landish’s main characters, Abi and Lorenzo, pull you into their marvelous story from the very beginning. The first time they meet is at a wedding where they both feel an instant attraction; however, they do nothing about it. On their second meeting they end up posing as lovers when she runs into a nemesis from her past. They are both being involved in the same wedding, where she is the wedding planner and he is involved in the catering. Thrown together almost constantly, they can’t avoid their strong feelings for each other. This was so delightful that I’ve gotten the first two books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I truly enjoyed this story. By far my favorite of the series. I am not sure if it is because of the setting or the fact that Abigail is a strong woman who knows that she can make a great life for herself without the drama that comes from relying on her family name. Lorenzo is more than you expect from a sexy Italian man. He only wants to help Abi succeed and can't help but fall for her. Being that this is part of the Big, Fat Fake series there is of courser some drama involved. I found myself wanting to know who it was that was behind all of the issues both faced and why. The connection Lorenzo and Abi had developed fast and each supported the other in the job they were in Aruba to do. This was a bit different in the sense this couple did not know once another as the other two couples did. A fun read with a wonderful HEA!
I usually love books by this author, loved the other 2 fake books.
I just couldn’t get into this one and I can’t say why. I wasn’t enamoured by Abi, she was miss independent, finding her own way without her father’s name or money. Then her old ‘friend’ from school mentions marriage and she shrivels. She then pretends she is married to a man she has met once and danced with.
Lorenzo seems every woman’s dream, talk, dark, italian and sex appeal. But he never drew me in either.
I skipped some of the book, but didn’t feel i wanted to go back for what I’d missed.
I am in love with this series. With what is happening in the world right now we all need to escape reality for a little bit each day. This book did that for me. It captured my attention from the very first chapter. It was HOT and it was steamy, but it also made me laugh out loud and it made me smile. Even after I have finished this book the smile is still there. When you finish a book, and it stays with you that is a true sign that the book was a 5-star read. My Big Fake Honeymoon had a great story line with some incredible characters. It is for sure a must read. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.
