This 64-page book serves as a guide to address the growing gap between the people who support Donald Trump and the people who do not. It is essential reading.
This book was very helpful. It has many sections including how to talk to Trump supporters, bible verses to share with them, and some movie quotes that you can send to them. Best political book I have read all year.
Edit: After much thought and deliberation I decided I am horrible for not including a link to where the author will sell the pdf to you for $0 so you too can know how to talk to trump supporters. https://gumroad.com/sheaserrano
What an incredible little book with MASSIVE importance. This is a book for everyone, truly. Brilliant thought and humanity poured into it. Shea is an absolute master at putting thoughts to paper, those type of thoughts that one may have trouble putting into words. Shea does that for you. This book does that for you. Absolutely brilliant. Read this book.
Such a necessary read if you, like me, are dealing with strife in your personal life related to politics. I found the right words to really get the message across to my dad, and it’s brought new understanding to our relationship. Shea just has a way with words!!
This was a little bit too wordy and preachy for me, but it gets the conversation going. I know it's tough to trust a book that has a 4.82 rating, but it's pretty good. My guess is that the rating is inflated by Shea Serrano fans like myself.
If you struggled with the Trump presidency, and wondered how any cross-section of America (let alone a significant cross-section) could vote for him, you'll probably read this and nod along with a lot of it. It's not all good advice, and you'll have to determine for yourself when and whether or not to use it, but you my guess is you'll agree with a lot.
And if you're a Trump supporter, and you want the inner-monologue of what a typical Lefty thinks about your vote, you'll probably get that from this book, too. But my guess is this book isn't so much for you.
In the words of CeeLo Green, "I still wish you the best."
Shea Serrano does it again with thoughtful prose, eloquent reasoning, and truly helpful advice about how to have this difficult conversation. Everyone should read this book (it's currently free on HalfwayBooks.com). Like, right now. Yeah, you. Go read it. Seriously.
Absolutely essential reading. I could not put this down — it is deeply insightful and the prose are just masterful. Shea Serrano has given us a guidebook for our times, and I can’t wait to incorporate this into my daily life.

This quick read comes at a crucial point for our fractured society. Serrano’s fourth novel answers questions people in politically-divided families might have as holiday season approaches. Would make a great gift!
Sorry I fell for this joke. Looking for a way to move forward, since the best I can come up with is FU. Turns out that's all this is. FU over and over again.
