They mix like oil and water.....but they do have amazing heat from all that friction
Spoiled Brat: is the sixth book in the Juniper Creek series and is the story of of Birdie and Seth Bradford. Birdie Sweet owns the Sweet Realty company in Juniper Creek. She is also the local Sheriff's daughter. Seth is a new deputy in Juniper Creek who came to town after being a police officer in the city for ten years. When Birdie's employee Jay is shot while he is showing a house it is Seth that her father assigns to protect her. To say that these two do not get along is an understatement. But as they also say some friction can be a good thing so these two are really heating it up. But there is still the issue of her father, his boss and this causes Seth to back off after they have become close. However, when Birdie is in danger it is Seth that will not let anyone or anything stop him from coming to her rescue and making her his forever, after all she is the love of his life even if he would not admit to it earlier.
This is a sweet and smexy short story. It is well written, has an enthralling story-line with some drama, mystery, suspense, danger, romance, sexy times and family and friends. Plus both Birdie and Seth are wonderful characters who you just love.

Birdie is a real estate agent in Juniper Creek. Raised by her father, the Sheriff of Juniper Creek , Birdie is an independent, courageous, sassy woman. Juniper Creek has a criminal on the loose who is targeting real estate agents. Seth is a new deputy on the force. Miche to her irritation, Birdie’s dad assigns Seth to guard her while she is working. Birdie is used to doing what she wants and not following orders or directions. Seth is used to people listening to him and respecting his position. These two have a clash of wills. Can they work together to keep Birdie safe?
I love reading about alpha male protectors and Seth definitely fits the bill. I also enjoy Birdie’s independent sassy personality. This is a great short steamy read and another wonderful installment to the world of Juniper Creek.

Birdie is the real estate agent in town and also Sheriff’s Sweets daughter. Seth has been assigned to protect Birdie after her other sales agent is shot at a showing. Seth and Birdie start off as oil and water but you see the two become closer and closer. He teaches her to shoot and makes sure no one will hurt her. Once they finally let themselves go and fall for one another Seth backs away when he sees her dad. It’s hard to feel the emotion she did at that time. She finally opened herself up to someone just to get her heart broken. When she is held hostage at the showing Seth will stop at nothing to make sure the love of his life is safe. Loved every part of this book and I can’t wait for more from this amazing author!

Birdie is owner and operator of Sweet Realty, in Juniper Creek and a excellent saleswomen. Just finished showing a couple a house, when her father Sheriff Sweet calls to tell her that Jay, a member of her realtor team has been shot. Birdie raced to the hospital, but was stop by the new gorgeous deputy, and asked to wait.
Seth Bradford is the brother of Noah is the new deputy, he also is assign to be with Birdie until the shooter has been caught, which makes Birdie upset. Seth came from the big city where he worked for 10 years, and fines working very easy and quiet, now he has to Birdie-sit. To protect Birdie further, Seth plans to train her to defend her self, by taking her to the shooting range. The more Seth and Birdie spend time together, the more their attraction for each other grows. But whst about the shooter?

C.L. Cruz is such an awesome writer. In this book we have Seth the new deputy in town, but not new to the job. Then we have Birdie, Realtor, independent, sassy and oh so curvy. When one of her real estate agents gets shot showing a house, Birdie is beside herself with worry. But then daddy assigns Seth the new deputy to be her bodyguard, Birdie is not happy. Oops, did I fail to mention that daddy is the sheriff? Birdie does NOT want a bodyguard. But what is Seth to do when he's between a rock and a curvy girl? Remember, if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.

She sells houses and he a deputy and works for her dad. Her friend was hurt while showing a house. Her dad as his new deputy to guard her. He shows her how to shoot and they get to know one another. He gets scared and she calls him a coward. A call come in over the radio and finds out she's in trouble. He comes to the rescue,she shoots the intruder and help comes. They make up and all us good.

Birdie is the realtor in the town. Seth the new deputy is assigned Birdie's bodyguard. There have been a few armed robberies and her father is worried. Once these two spend more time around each other they find that they are attracted to each other. But Birdie ends up being held as a hostage and Seth will stop at nothing to make sure she is safe. Love this authors work. Look forward to the next book. I received a copy of this story for an honest review.

If you want to read a quick lighthearted story, this is the one you need to get your hands on. The characters are cute and the story flows very well.

Before they realise it, they have feelings for each other and when Birdie is in danger, Seth races in to save the day and tells her he wants her forever.

Engaging
5-stars I thought Birdie was a high-spirited, classy young lady and Seth a well put together young man. They both were no non sense characters, that liked to get their own way. I think it was love at first sight for Seth, and it took a little longer to Birdie to realize. The were well suited for each other. I loved this book, thank you C. L. Cruz,for writing this book. 😉

When the sheriff assigns Seth as bodyguard to his daughter, he wasn’t too happy. As they got to get to know each other better, their dominating personalities blended into something more, but will the sheriff be on page for these two to get a chance for a happily ever after? This story draws you in and have you cheering for Seth and Birdie! I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

So much action in such a short story. Birdie may have come across as a spoiled brat, but she continuously shows how much she cares for her clients, her friends, ans Seth. She also displays more bravery and strength than most other characters. I think Seth learned a thing or two from his spoiled princess.

This was a cute story about real estate agent, Birdie and police officer Seth who is charged with looking after Birdie's security.
This was fast paced, dramatic, steamy and had a slight mystery to it. I liked the way Seth and Birdie were with each other. Their mutual attraction was hot and they were continually fighting it. So well written and a great book!

Just because Birdie is the sheriffs daughter she is occasionally underestimated about her abilities. Her dad is one of them. Seth the new deputy is now watching her under basically protective custody. He thinks he’s babysitting, she thinks it’s annoying. These to take an adventure getting to know each other while trying to keep her safe. Good chemistry. The instant rejection then love it’s definitely noticeable in the writing. Enjoyable. No cliff

Enjoyed this story of Birdie and Seth, two people with very strong personalities thrown together when a crisis arises.

A nice and sweet story is what CL always delivers with a touch of spicy. I’m sad to see the end of the Juniper gang stories but I’m glad that it ended with Birdie’s hea. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Seth and Birdie have instant chemistry throughout the pages. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of sweet fun making the storyline one to read.

Another good story

This was cute but also super funny. I loved the back and forth between Seth and Birdie and their inner dialogue when they weren’t at each other’s throats. It moves quickly but it's so entertaining.

This is Birdie, a real estate agent, and Seth, a Sheriff's deputy, story. Seth thinks Birdie is spoiled and rude when they first meet; only to find out that she is his boss's daughter and he has been assigned to protect her. This is an entertaining read with suspense, danger, drama, and lust.

When the realtors in town get targeted, Birdie's father, the sheriff assigns her a babysitter, New deputy Seth. Seth thinks Birdie is a spoiled princess but the more time he spends with her the more he like the tough but sweet woman he finds. This is a great read. I freely reviewed this book.

This is another one in the Juniper Creek series. While I've given most of them decent to high ratings, a couple of the stories just didn't work for me. Unfortunately this was one of them.
I did like that our hero, Seth is Noah's brother. It was great having a hero who we are already somewhat connected to. Birdie has appeared briefly in other books (most notably in Old Maid, as she is the one who set up our couple in it). So, as far as knowing the characters, that is the big plus I got in this one. The problem was that I didn't much care for either of characters. Seth was okay. I didn't like Birdie at all. And, although all of these books are super short, C.L. Cruz does a good job of showing the connection between the characters. In this particular book, however, I didn't feel that connection between them.
This one just wasn't for me. I hesitated between two and three stars, because I don't think there's anything wrong with this one. I settled on two only because the others that I actually liked, some of them were three star reads for me. I think if this book sounds intriguing for you, definitely give it a go.
Overall I highly recommend this series. The only one that I absolutely hated was Goody Two Shoes (see the review of that one as to why it definitely wasn't for me) other than that I think the rest are well worth a read.
