I never meant to get stuck in a dark closet, naked, at the holiday gala.

The book starts off with the hottest sex scene in a closet you'll probably ever read. There is a bit of a secret baby aspect to this book because both the hero and heroine (Audrey, just put "parents"!) were strangers to each other, so the heroine couldn't find the hero to tell him that she is pregnant with his baby.

The fact that the hero is a billionaire was barely used in the story. I felt like the author just included it for the series & to make him sound more attractive that way.

Julia really suffered from foot in the mouth syndrome, meaning she would say everything even if it wasn't appropriate to say so, and that really endeared her to me. She was funny and spunky and really stole the show.

I am curious about Book 2.

I knew Monty would be my favorite.

4,5 stars.

This series is light, funny, sweet, sexy. A guaranteed good time. And this book did not disappoint.

Since the first book, I had this thing about Monty and I was certain he would be my favorite. He's that truly nice guy, but carrying this underlying and undeniable sexiness wherever he went.
A dirty geek, complete with glasses, a smart mind that won't quit, a voice that causes spontaneous combustion and a wonder...ahn...deck. Let's say deck. A big, wonderful deck.
He was adorable, sometimes oblivious, caring, and oh my, he was sexy.

Julia was a little crazy, but genuine. Spontaneous, but learning how to balance her free spirit with a newfound life of responsability.

Together, they made quite the pair. Full of chemistry, they were pure fire and there was a lot of fun.

And as you can always expect from this author, the book was sexy and hot, silly and funny, but there were also sensitive matters to read, understand, discuss. I love how this author does that.
There is always this or that subject that most people don't talk about but it's important for us to aknowledge, and she does it lightly and to the point.

I can't wait for more from this series.

I just adore this series. It’s funny, lighthearted, romantic and just what I need during these crazy times. The author has given us a well written storyline with characters you just can’t help but love. The book is full of sassiness, crazy antics and lots of laughs. I don’t want to give anything away, because this is a must read and spoiling it would be a shame. I’ll just simply say this is a quick read that will have you in stitches and you don’t want to miss out. Highly recommend grabbing up not only this book but the series as these brothers are something else - Lots of smiles and Lots of laughs.

Surprising the Billionaire with a Baby by Elizabeth Lynx ABSOLUTELY fit the bill when I wanted a story that would make me smile, make me swoon, but most importantly, would make me laugh!

Let me just start by saying that I truly loved this story! Monty had me chuckling from the start, his temper, his stubbornness, his attitude, his wit, all of it making him equally endearing and intriguing.

I loved getting more of the friendship and kinship amongst the brothers, Rock and James being an absolute hoot!

And Julia? I ADORE her! She is witty, charming, and I just want to cheer her on and have her believe in herself as much as I do!

I loved seeing more of Laura and Jami, and the camaraderie there.

Honestly, this story quite simply had me hooked from start to finish. Epic chemistry, hilarious antics, misunderstandings and clarifications, and so much more made this thoroughly enjoyable, and I know it will do the same for you!

So if you're looking for a story that ticks all sorts of delightful tropes, look no further and I promise, it isn't a surprise that you'll love this story!

Stepping out of the closet!

Julia has a job as a coat check girl for one night and whilst setting up hears a noise in the back of the closet. When she goes to investigate she ends up locked in with a naked man. One thing leads to another and they have sex. Neither knows who the other is until Monty goes to a birthday party at his brothers suggestion and comes face to face with Julia. This book was a quick and funny read with characters that are awkward and at times outrageous.

Predictable yet surprising

The story begins with surprising first chapters with great characters, Julia and Monty. The characters are surprising, original and immediately likeable. The story is then torrid but also hilarious. The rest of the story is a little more predictable, but still exciting thanks to the characters.

Surprising the Billionaire with a Baby is a giggling good time. You will love how Monty fumbles his way through things with Julia. Julia is a spitfire. Monty is a workaholic who doesn't quite know how to talk to Julia without putting his foot in his mouth. I love their banter and their chemistry. You get why Julia is protective of their son. Julia and Monty will warm your heart and you need to read this just to see for yourself. I love this new addition to the Blue Ridge Mountain Billionaires series and can not wait for more.

What a comedy of errors!!! This book had me laughing, swooning and wanting to smack some people upside the head. Julia and Monty are one of the most unlikely couples I’ve ever seen. They meet and are locked in a dark ( I mean no light dark) room. They don’t even know each other’s names, well he knows her first name. What happens in that room doesn’t just stay there. The surprise baby shocks Monty ten months later when he figures out what this means for all of them. I really wanted to smack him for how he handles everything. Julia is or of the most stubborn and Independent heroines I’ve ever read which could lead her to so much trouble. And again wanted to smack her too. This to me is great writing. My emotions were invested in these two and my heart wanted them to find their HEA.

At last we get Monty's story haha open the first chapter and you guessed a laugh out loud moment haha.

Monty is a self made billionaire and the founder of Diaz Technologies.
He is also the brother of the practical jokster James and you can imagine what jokes he could do to his brothers.

Julia is the sister of Laura who just so happened to help her out with a job.
Julia is the fun loving easy going sister who never takes life too seriously.

When two worlds collide..... well I guess you'll just have to read to find out 😉

This book is great! If you are looking for a hot nerd Monty is your guy! If you are looking for a beautiful carefree girl Julia is your girl! After Monty’s brother locks him in a closet naked no the less, he has hope when a angel appears! What she doesn’t know is his name but that doesn’t stop her from fooling around in a dark locked closet!
Ten months later, they meet but she has a surprise for him, except he knows her and she doesn’t know him!
What could have ever happened in a dark closet with two naked people?? You will have to read this hot steamy romance!

This book was a fun read. I immediately got swept away in Monty and Julia's story. The chemistry between characters was perfect and the story had you laughing and excited to turn the next page. This genre of books are usually the same format. But this author threw in little surprises that did not make me feel as though I have read the same story and that was very refreshing. Can't wait to see what else this author has wrote.

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!!! Monty is hiding naked in a closet at a charity ball. Julia is a little flaky and her sister finds her a job as a coat check girl at the same ball. She inadvertently locks herself with Monty and they have a fling. Months later they meet again, not knowing that they had met previously but both having fond memories of the evening, Julia more than Monty (no spoilers). What's next for our love birds??? You have to read it to find out,how this entertaining refreshing story ends. I honestly volunteered to review the arc.

This book started off really great. Very sexy too. But around mid point the MFC started to grade on my nerves. She kept constantly thinking the worst of the MMC and would stop for breath to allow him to explain himself. Yeah he messed up but he was so nervous and she kept jumping to conclusions.

Started off...

...this book started off great. The characters were intriguing and I could see the development. Secret baby romance is my jam. Unfortunately as time went on I could not get past Julia. This character had me pinching the bridge of my nose through most of the book. I felt like she was flighty. That she deliberately misunderstood the MMC point of view and jumped to conclusions without actually hearing him or letting him finish a sentence. So, I gave it three stars because it ended well but it's not a book I'd pick up again.

In a short phrase this book I could say: they were both 10….but they were IDIOTS!!

Book was promising started good, the blur caught my attention but it missed the mark for me. I guess what I disliked is how the female main character was developed.

There were times in the book I wanted to slap her into senses and say “hey! stop twisting in your head everything he says or doesn’t say”. Hey! You really have low self-esteem issues, why? ; Hey!!! Open your eyes”.

I believe the author wrote many chapters of this book without properly caring to do some research, for instance at how maternity really changes a woman physical appearance. Also just for the sake of making drama concocted unrealistic situations. But hey it is fiction so u let it passed. The book has a HEA but the truth is i didn’t like the FMC and by the end of the book I didn’t care what happens to her just that the dad keeps seeing the son.

I also read the first book of this series and it is about the middle sister of this book’s FMC. Both women have low self-esteem issues, both are idiots so it runs in the family. I hope the next book is better because the blur intrigued me and the third youngest sister seems smart. So we will see.

Would I read it again: NO!. It will be shelved in my meh pile.

nobody in this fucking book acted normal‼️‼️like this is not how normal, real people act and think. this girl dragged out the book bc she wouldn’t let him explain himself EVERY SINGLE TIME like she kept jumping to conclusions in her head and then walk off. like?!?! girl you’re thirty with a baby??? act mature, grow tf up. can’t even keep your mouth shut. and the guy CANNOT act on shit for the life of him, how did he become a billionaire. who made him a billionaire bc with the way he cannot grow a spine to tell his baby mama he’s the dad… also wdym yall love each other? you guys just had rlly good sex and a baby. yall do not know eachother…. the smut was also kinda corny asf with the dialogue. “lick my candy cane” “wonder dick” and how we ended up here? who tf strips down to wear a costume? like he was planning on going commando wearing a santa costume???? yeah this book was ridiculous 🤣🤣

This series is so funny! This story focuses on Monty who gets locked in a coat closet by his brother James when he’s naked. When Julia hears noises coming from the closet she goes to investigate thinking it’s a ghost and she gets locked in too. Well one thing leads to another and she has a baby now but she doesn’t know who the father is because she’s never seen him so when Monty goes to a birthday party he finds out it’s the coat closet girl but he keeps it to himself. Monty wants to confess but he just keeps sticking his foot in it. Very cute story and you have to love Julia’s honestly.

Has there ever been a female so stupid? But wait, the rich guy (okay all the rich guys) in this story is such an idiot! He can't make a decision, I have no idea how he runs a company let alone multiple companies. Then again his office seems to be a reclaimed closet at his brother's place. The middle brother, he gets pushed around by everybody. There is no discernable reason why these two should get together. And frankly these two flakes are just going to make more trouble for everyone around them. I could not finish this train wreck. They are so immature it was unreadable.

One night stand leads to secret baby. FMC didn’t know who MMC was because they hooked up in a dark closet and she never saw his face/knew his name. She ends up working for MMC, they fools around for a couple weeks, she finds out he’s her baby daddy. Shes mad cause he is weird and words that he wants to be a family in a weird way. Work takes him away and he’s only seen the baby twice. She says he’s the best baby daddy ever. Huh?! Also insta love story. It’s a no for me dog.

Meh. I wanted to like this but really didn’t like Julia. I feel like the author was trying to make her the ‘carefree, spontaneous, spunky woman’ but to me she just felt crazy and unstable. While the male love interest makes mistakes (cause it’s a rom-com) but I found myself feeling sorry for him. I gave it 2 stars since I finished it, but just barely.
