Mere weeks after taking on some of the cleverest and most sinister supernatural beings to date, Peter is trying to put aside all those worries and cheerfully ring in the New Year.
But there is one fear, despite his best efforts, he is unable to push from his mind: Earth’s impending doom. With Zoltan—the only weather god capable of protecting the human race—now kidnapped, it’s only a matter of time before Xavier and his evil followers come to wreak havoc.
With the odds heavily stacked against them, Peter and his friends embark on a mission to give the innocent people of Earth a ray of hope. But to do this, they have to go to Sevlar: which means being right under Xavier’s nose.
The challenges that lie ahead are both confusing and dangerous, and their chance of success is miniscule…
P.J. Nichols is an author who really, really loves games. But not the kind you buy at stores. And not the kind you practice and practice and practice to get good at. He likes the games you think up and make by yourself.
No matter where he is, or what things are around him, P.J. will find a way to create a game. One where you race. Or one where you build. Or one where you think. Or maybe even one where you do all three.
Back when he was growing up with his three brothers in Canada, he was constantly making games. Neighborhood kids (and even some of their parents) would run over to join in. There was never a boring moment in or around the Nichols’ house.
P.J. is sure that his debut novel, Puzzled, will have you rushing to think up games for your friends, brothers, sisters, or parents to try!
Nice book, this time the setting is on Sevlar. The story is split in two, the struggles of Mr. Winchester team trying to save Zoltan as technicians and Peters going through a series of puzzles to retrieve the amulet. And Peter broke a leg for this mission…literally!! As you guessed, in the end the world is saved, though I suspect that there will be another book in this series, as it end with a we will think about it later sort of speech about the upcoming war.
