-----
After Holly Smart’s newborn daughter, Ursula, gets kidnapped from her bedroom, Holly and her cadre of firstborn bear shifters set out to find the missing baby but finding Ursula won’t be easy.

With no trace of the culprits or any clues to go on, Holly and her friends must call in old alliances, some of which might prove more dangerous than helpful. To complicate matters, the evidence seems to indicate that Ursula may have been complicit in her own abduction, but how is that possible when she’s only a baby?

With magical forces conspiring to destroy the Silver Spruce and plunge shifter kind back into chaos and war, the friends get into a desperate race against time and destiny to bring Ursula back home.

This very well-written book 8 in the Bears Of Oregon Series is a continuation of a series with very
well crafted characters that have great chemistry. Each character has been well developed with unique personalities and grow throughout the story. This amazing story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA that comes with obstacles to overcome. It is a fast-paced, amazing shifter book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. This is by a really good author, Samantha Snow.

The baby is kidnapped and everyone is going in search of her. The characters are unique and determined in their goal. The wraiths and other creatures confound them every step of the way. Trying a locator spell, they travel far to the black tower and black lake. Confusion from dream like visions being implanted into them. Trying to figure out reality while their minds seem muddled. Even one of them drowning is not right. Hard to put down, with so much action and adventure going on.

Find her daughter and bring peace back. Holly’s daughter Ursula has been taken and she and her friends and her six guys have to find her. But when they learn she might not be on this earthly plain and might be in a fantasy land they have to find a way to get to her. Because Holly has seen a vision and Ursula is surrounded by black wraithlike creatures, and with Ursula gone, the shifters are starting a war again. Peace is no more and people will die. But does Ursula want to come back? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

Too much

Oh my goodness, why are we still on this phase of the story?! As if the thousands of spelling and grammar errors aren't enough, now we have to suffer through dragging this storyline out?! Bless Holly's heart, but just resolve this shit already. If we're going to keep reading about the same characters, then can they PLEASE be happy?!

Too unbelievable just choppy and repetitive

Repetitive. Boring. Feels like it was written by someone trying to come up with a good idea. The series started out ok. But just keeps getting worse.

It was okay, least favorite in series so far

I can't explain why this book was not as captivating as all the others and I found myself looking forward to the end.
