A great book Stephanie Queen book set. This book set includes He Has Trouble, He Has It All, and He Has Game, all following players of the Boston Brawlers Hocker team.
The first book, He Has Trouble, follows Brady Mack and Angela Rizzo. Childhood neighbors, once lovers, and now strangers, they find themselves trying to reconcile their past together while going through personal tragedy.
The second book, He Has It All, once again deals with childhood neighbors Ryan O’Roarke and Chelsea Wilde. Their initial relationship was that of siblings but over time and after more personal tragedies they find strength in each other.
He Has Game is the third book in the Boston Brawlers book set and it follows Finn Reed and Vivian Frost. When Finn unapologetically turns down a female patrons advances and she takes it upon herself to tarnish his reputation. To save his career, the Boston Brawlers PR scheme up a fake fiancée relationship with Vivian Frost. Like any fake fiancée relationship, at some point it went from being fake relationship to a very real one but the couple keeps fighting their true feelings!
This is a great book set by Stephanie Queen. I’ve enjoyed all of the Boston Brawlers series and it’s great to have them all together! I find the hockey theme really fun, it’s completely outside of my normal world so it’s a great sneak peak. I’ve enjoyed all the characters. In the first two books I really enjoyed the family aspect! Love a great supporting family! I’ve also really like the supportive teammates! Great books and a great set! Would recommend for sporty romance readers!

Book 1 – A cute short story about Brady and Angela. Brady and Angela were the boy and girl next door to each other who were each other’s first love and Brady left without a word to Toronto to join the NHL. Anglea was also the younger sister of his best friend Eddie. Brady never thought he was good enough for Angela. His dad was an alcoholic and his mom had passed when he was younger. Angela had always been in love with Brady and had her heart broken when he left. Brady comes home in time for Christmas after being suspended for 2 games and instead of going home he goes next door to the Rizzo’s house (Angela) for their Christmas Eve party. Brady always felt at home at the Rizzo’s and they were like a second family to him. Tragedy happens on Christmas day and this brings Angela and Brady closer together. Brady realizes that he cannot be without Angela and does not want to make that mistake again. Book 2 – Cute story about the boy and girl next door. Ryan made a promise to his best friend (Chelsea’s brother) that he would watch after her like a brother if anything happened to him while he was away in the military. Of course her brother didn’t return. But he’s always had a crush on her. He’s your typical star athlete – player, womanizer, etc.. But after 4 years he’s ready for a change. He’s tired of his public image. Chelsea is Ryan’s younger sister’s best friend (Maggie). She has always had a crush on Ryan for as long as she can remember. She is working for a gossip tv show that always has Ryan in the spotlight. When Ryan’s sister gets married they are thrown back together for a weekend where they aren’t able to hide their feelings any longer. Ryan thinks he wants more but is hurt when Chelsea leaves and assumes it’s just a one night stand. A little communication is really all that is needed for this to turn into a HEA. Book 3 – Vivvie is a quiet, shy young woman doing an internship in a PR department for a professional hockey team. She just happens to be in the room when a playboy Hockey player, Finn (whom she has a crush on) is given the ultimatum of having a fake marriage until the end of the season, or risk the chance of being traded to another team. Of course, since Finn is the type to love them and leave them, he doesn’t have anyone he can use as a fake fiancée. Vivvie speaks up and offers to be the fake fiancée (to her surprise). Finn thinks she looks mousey and is not his type at all. Little does he know that all it takes is a new wardrobe and a makeover for him to want her more than anything. Although in the beginning, because of his attitude, I did not want her to fall in love with him! Finn had a rough childhood growing up. He felt his mom was always after the next best thing and was basically raised by his grandparents since his dad had passed away before he was born. However, when Finn is accused of making a pass at a very important stockholder in the company (which he didn’t do), his mom is one of his biggest supporters and helps to right the wrong.
I am looking forward to reading more from Stephanie Queen and I cannot wait for the next book to come out in this series.

He Has Trouble It’s a fast-paced story and an emotional roller-coaster. When we’re first introduced to Brady, I wasn’t entirely sure I was going to like him. As the story progressed and we got to see his vulnerabilities and what his behavior stemmed from, I quickly fell in love with him. Angela stole my heart just about from the opening moments. She’s fierce and feisty, and when she loves, she does so with her whole heart. She also won’t let Brady slide by with his usual excuses. I love a second chance, so it’s no surprise that I loved seeing this pair come back together to make something even better for their future. He Has It All I love a second chance, and this one adds elements of friends to lovers and best friend’s sibling to the mix. There is a lot going on in this book and there is a lot of story to tell it all. For my personal preferences, there was a bit more story than I needed, but it was nice to get to know Ryan and Chelsea’s families better. I really enjoyed seeing both of them mature and come together. I just would have liked to have seen a bit more of Chelsea taking the steps to properly heal after all she had been dealing with. It all comes to light in the eleventh hour and we’re not given the chance to see much of the outcome before we get our happily ever after. I’ve started falling in love with these Brawlers, though, and I’m looking forward to reading more about them. He Has Game I’ve always been a sucker for the fake relationship theme. You just know that no matter how hard our leading couple are trying to resist each other, the chemistry is going to take over and things are going to get a lot more “real” than either of them were expecting. Finn and Vivvie are no exception to this. There’s some drama and angst in this book, but overall, it’s a remarkably sweet story. Vivian is a bit of a Pollyanna, and Finn is the king of jerk-like behavior, but it’s pretty clear that their relationship forces some growth on both of them. There are a couple of things that I would have like to see a more defined resolution to in the end, however, I’m really falling in love with this team and I can’t wait to read more. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books.
He Has Trouble: Brady is home while on suspension - just in time for Christmas... problem is it involves seeing his alcoholic father... and the girl of his dreams - Angela. The chemistry is still there between the two, but past hurts need to be healed... especially when his father suddenly passes away... right before his professional dreams come true. A heartwarming story of second chances. He Has it All: Ryan’s living the dream... or is he? He’s worked so hard to build a reputation, but at what cost? Does he even know who he is anymore? Chelsea has been disillusioned by life, including by her longtime crush, Ryan. They’re brought back together for Maggie and Levi’s wedding (loved their story, too) and the chemistry is there, for sure. But it’s forbidden...or so they think. Their story has plenty of drama as they come to terms with past hurts and decisions. I really enjoyed their story and finding a way to trust again and take a chance. He Has Game: Finn has a reputation as a womanizer. When he turns down the wrong woman, he finds himself having to fake not just a relationship but an engagement to keep from getting traded. Vivvie is not what he expected and finds his past coming back to haunt him. These two have some serious chemistry. Can they outplay the spurned woman or will their game catch up with them. The story kept my attention til the end.
He Has Trouble: He left her years ago, but is now determined to win her back. Will he fold under the pressure? Will she let him back in?
Love getting a second chance. I didn't blame him for being scared, but loved when it came down to it, he put his heart on the line. Loved the fact that she was there for him, even after everything, and she was willing to take the chance. This was a cute, second chance romance.
He Has It All: She always had a crush, he's never been ready to settle down. One wedding changes everything. Will he get it together before it's to late?
Loved seeing these two get their Happy Ever After. I loved the fact that despite what others said, she still saw another side of him even if her head told her it was false. I loved how protective he was despite the fact that he kept telling himself that he couldn't have her. Loved it!
He Has Game: He needs to clean up his image, she just needs to keep her heart out of it. Some things can't be faked. Will he realize what is in front of him before its to late?
Have to say I thought these two were a good fit. I loved how she put herself out there and was who she was. I didn't blame him for being scared, but loved seeing him slowly allowing himself to be healed. Good read!
I loved the vulnerability of the two.she had been sheltered because of her heart defect ,he had closed his heart because of his past .I enjoyed the sweet character of Vivvie her untouched values until Finn happens. A great story you continue reading until "the end". A great ending to a great trio that makes you read again !
This boxset says it all when it comes to sports romance. If you are a fan of hockey these stories deal with second, chances and fake fiancés. The stories draw you in and have you backing our players to get their chance for happiness. I loved all three stories, but I like Angela and Brady's the best. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book set for an honest review.
I've read and enjoyed all of the books in this series. If you like hot, brawny hockey players, lots of sex and love, these books are for you. These books are for mature audiences only. Rated X for language and sex. Stephanie Queen knows hockey and does a great job on these books.
5 stars for Boston Brawlers Romance 3-book set by Stephanie Queen
One of the best ways to read a series is in a boxed set. Amazing love stories. Lots of feels with lots of hot and sexy. Can't wait for the next instalment of Boston Brawlers.
I truly enjoyed Stephanie Queen's Boston Brawler's Hockey Romance book. This book has three stories of three hockey players and their true loves. It is full of hotness, sass, real feelings, and of course some ups and downs. Loved every minute of it!!
I enjoyed the drama, heat & fun of each of these stories in this set. From the girl left behind, to the sisters best friend girl next door, to the girl who steps into a fake relationship these all had their endearing moments. Looking forward to the next book.
