Boy he was!
Man this book was two much. Lady Lissa you do it every time. But Sparkle was slow as they can come for her to be nurse. Craig thought he could handle daddy. Boy was he fool. Also Detective Lawrence is going to get to the bottom of this.

2. WHEN CHAD DOWNLOADED THE APP TO FIND A FRIEND AND HE WAS ABLE TO LOCATE CRAIG BY USING THAT APP. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN LOCATE A FRIEND BY USING THAT APP IS THE FRIEND WHO YOU ARE TRYING TO LOCATE HAS TO ACCEPT YOUR REQUEST. YOU CAN’T JUST LOCATE WHOEVER YOU WANT TO WITHOUT PERMISSION.
3. THE AUTHOR KEPT SAYING CRAIG AND CHAD WERE BEST FRIENDS IN BOTH BOOKS, BUT IN NEITHER BOOK, DID THEY HAVE ANY BONDING TIME. THEY NEVER HUNG OUT OR NOTHING. I NEVER FELT THE CONNECTION.

I WORK IN HEALTHCARE AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN WHERE THE E.R DOCTOR TELL THE PATIENT TO COME TO HIS OFFICE FOR A FOLLOWUP. THE DOCTOR WOULD HAVE TOLD CRAIG TO FOLLOW-UP WITH HIS PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR.

This book had my attention from beginning to end. Craig was the devil in disguise and he definitely has Sparkle fooled. When a person starts exhibiting a certain behavior red flags need to go up because Craig had all kinds of red flags. I love when the author does books about Domestic Violence because it brings more awareness to an issue that is constantly being heard about. Craig really needs to be dealt with for what he's been doing the past few months. And now that his secret is discovered by Chad what will happen next. Will Sparkle find out what her precious husband has been up. Can't wait for the outcome in book 2.

This book you won’t be able to put down
Craig is one cray cray mofo for him to keep someone locked away in a cabin against their will is insane he clearly has lost his marbles he should of took the lost and let Breonna go when she wanted out of that toxic relationship but when you are in so called love everything isn’t black and white to a person I’m glad that Detective Lawerence is taking the time out to find Breonna and I hope Craig gets put behind bars for the monster he is to hold someone who he claims to love hostage

Craig is absolutely crazy. There is no way that I would stay with a man that brats me. Especially on your honeymoon night! Where they do that at???? I would have been outta there on the first thing smoking and not looking back ever! No matter how much he begged or lied and said he would never do it again. You a got but 1 time to put your hands on me and it is O-V-E-R!
This story just goes to show how so many women that are abused stay for love, sex or they make excuses for the abuser. Some get out but most never make it out alive.

Oh damn! I was so wrong on this one. This was good from the beginning to the end. Craig has so many issues that I hope he receive the help he needs before it’s too late. Sparkle is a dumb as a woman can get! She had the opportunity to leave and stay gone but she’s so blinded by love. I hope she doesn’t end up like Breonna. Will Chad save the day? Or will he meet a untimely fate? Great job, so ready for part 2.

I understand why she went back but disagree with the decision because Craig hasn't and does not want to change. I was hoping Breonna was still alive and I'm glad to know she is for the moment. I'm anxious to find out just what made Chad follow Craig? On to book #2.

So he was telling the truth he hadn't killed her.. I was glad that Chad found them bc he was gonna kill her. I just hope he don't end up killing them both just to keep his secret. I can"t wait to read the nxt part to see what happens. I hope she gets away and Craig gets locked up for kidnapping and abuse bc nobody deserves to be put though what he's put her

This guy Craig was all kinds of crazy. I felt sorry for both women Breonna and Sparkle. But I had a feeling that his sister was talking about her. Abusers don't need second chances
Sparkle ticked me off, continually making excuses for Craig and minimizing his actions. She even had knowledge of domestic abuse through her aunt's tragedy. Loved her father, though - he was serious about his family.

Great read!
This book is so good! Craig is the classic case of a derranged psycho! And Sparkle makes me want to slap some sense her, she talks a good game but she's so hung up on "having a husband" she can't see straight. I'm not sure what her definition of being abused is but she needs her head examined. I can't wait to read part 2!

Running out of time
Another good book from Lady Lissa. Craig was a charming, good looking man that seemed to always talk his way out of it after abusing his partners. Sad that his sister, best friend & even the women let him apologize & get away with it. It was hard to read how he physically abused them & they kept going back. Need to know if there's a part 2 to this book asap.

Talk about crazy!
Craig was truly a classic nut case. I can’t believe that he actually kept someone locked up for a whole year. It really is time for him to be punished. I just hope that Sparkle doesn’t suffer in the process. Can’t wait to read book two.

Great cliffhanger. Can't wait to read part 2. I hope Sparkle realizes that she is married to a monster and run for her life. There were a few grammatical errors and mix up of the characters. But, a decent read.

Good but something is off
When you are a #1 Lady L fan you just know what you know. No sure why not her best for many reasons. Moving on to book 2 right now. I'll say at the end of 2 for sure. You read for yourself.

Fire read!
Lady Lisa never disappoints with her stories! I couldn't believe how naive Sparkle was about Craig's behavior. Whew chile! Craig had me so heated from the moment I opened this book. I'm definitely checking out Part 2 whenever I have some free time to get it.
