Such an Irresistible, Angst free, Had me smiley & Swoony Rom-Com! Gigi & West are a perfect fit😍. Two people who should've been enemies are actually eachother's fated ones! It was fun, oh so sexy & kinky hot, Competitive, Full of feels, Beloved characters, a grumpy cat, Sweet goodness, Fun accents, Beautiful love & a heartfelt HEA.
I love Gigi & West so much😍, read this book in 4hrs. So full of Awesomeness💘. I'm loving this series (& Writing Style) by Lauren & Lili! Also added West's friend Graham's book "The V Card" to my TBR!

Gigi; Loving, Sweet, Smart; is Ruby's Cousin/Friend, a baker & Owner of "Sweetie Pies". She's a ray of sunshine but Her parents Divorce & Past cheating boyfriends have left her Self-confidence bruised. Right now, she's only focusing on her new Shop & loved ones. Her Brother Harrison & Grams are awesome & Give great advice😍.
West; Charming, Fun, Caring; came from London to New York as a start to his & his sister Abby's dream of owning a shop, in honor of their mom & her recipes. Their shop "Tea & Empathy" is in the same area as "Sweetie Pies" & will be opening soon. I liked his family & friends!

G+W have similar interests like their love of vintage games, Nerdiness, Humor... Especially their few kinks! But she loves coffee & he loves tea😏.
Their Fiery chemistry & shared interests is what attracted them to eachother at the Rubik's cube tournament they both attended, which led to a Fun & Super hot night that neither wanted to end! But as come the morning, Breakfast Run reveals Truths...After the One-night-stand, They may want more, but they're enemies! Or are they?
~Coffee & Tea, Rubik's cube Contest, Dirty Scrabble, Bar Fun, Kisses & Orgasms, Sex Fest, Morning Truths, Betrayal & Overreaction, Curing the fuck up, Baking competition...

Their connection is so Unique. She may feel betrayed as he hadn't mentioned his shop when she'd told hers, but who wants to talk shop in their special night, right? With Apologies, sweetness & Swoons, Forgiveness comes. They may be able to work shop alongside eachother, but they're still rivals in the Baking competition. So she wants them to be just friends...But try they might, They're inevitable. Soon she gives in to him & They start dating!
~Friends & Fire, 1st Round, Lunch date, Trifecta of Seduction, Texts & Chocolate, Date & Kinky, Falling, Making love, Dating, Past & Dreams, Swoony, 2nd Round, So Fun, Love...
I'm glad West's shop opening went well!

"The timing for us feels all wrong. But everything is so right with her."
This story was low angst & low drama. I loved how honest Gigi & West are to eachother, hence there are way less problems. Even though West hadn't been looking for a relationship, Gigi's his perfect match & he fell in love as hard as she for him❤. They're so cute & hot! Her confidence gets a boost too, from West & her family talks. Main Heart-race comes from the competition where West's sister's cheating ex is a participant & sabotaging asshole. Not only do we get a Beautiful Romantic story but also a Fantastic Finale!😍
~3rd Round, Hurt & Disqualified, Sweet advices, I love yous, Intimacy, Proposals, Future & Babies...!

The ending & Epilogue are amazing, especially the last chapter from Gram's Cat's PoV was fun (& genious)! I liked all the side-Characters here, except the cheating exs of course. I'll love to get their siblings' books (Though Harrison has already gotten his HEA with West's brother nonetheless!). I #HighlyRecommend this story to everyone who wants a dose of Light, Fun & Sexy!

Delicious and sexy and flirty and fun!! That’s the experience you should expect while reading this story. It was just pure joy!

I’ve had the best time as a reader and new audio junkie these last few months and it’s mainly because of Lauren! This was my first listen with Lili but I’m running out of material with Lauren now! SHE IS AN AUDIO QUEEN; add in her ridiculous talent as a writer and I mean … #swoonfest people!

If you’re ever having a bad day or are just feeling blah for whatever reason, just pick up a story by Lauren and you are guaranteed to have a smile on your face in no time! #trust I haven’t read too many of Lili’s books, yet, but I may or may not have downloaded a whole bunch of them yesterday … budget? what budget? *shsssss, don’t tell* :)

5 star reviews Good To Be Bad (Good Love #3) by Lauren Blakely & Lili Valente

I was excited when I learnt that Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente were collaborating again and this book was a fantastic read. I love the style of writing of both authors, this is a win/win for me.
As soon as their eyes meet, the connection between Weston (West) Byron, owner of a Tea Room and Gigi James, owner of Sweetie Pies is instant. They planned on one night together and yet once it was over, it was obvious to both that there is a lot more to come.
This book was fun, there were board games (which I love), laughter, miss communication, baking and all in all was an entertaining read. The passion, chemistry and witty banter added an additional layer to my enjoyment of the story and it was great to see some familiar faces make an appearance.
The narration by Shane East (one of my favourite narrators) and Lili Valente enhanced my listening pleasure. They really brought the story to life for me and in my opinion were spot on for West and Gigi.
I loved the relationship that Gigi has with Gram as well as the relationship that West has with his sister, so heart warming.
I fell hard and fast for both Gigi and West, both separately and together and could easily see them as friends. The way he cares for Gigi melted my heart and I found myself either smiling or laughing throughout this book.
Loved, loved, loved it and have no hesitation in recommending.

Absolutely 5 Scoops of Delightful!

There’s just something about insta-love that just makes me swoon epically hard. Combine that with two intelligent lead characters in Gigi & West, you get another blue ribbon, prize-winner from the writing duo of Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. Everything you want in a happy read is right here waiting for you in the pages of Good To Be Bad; board games, hot fudge level love making, and a decadence of laughter with punny moments.

Nothing could make this bet………oh wait, it just got better when stepping into the booth for the audio is none other than fabulous Lili Valente and smooth as velvet Shane East. Gigi is full technicolor, living, breathing, pie-making, quirky heroine you want to be friends with when voiced by Lili. The riffs of sarcasm and flintiness just bounce off her chipper voice. When turning to the more tender moments with Gigi & Gram (her Gramma!), I got pangs of full-on feelings with words that were so meaningful. Oh, and West…what a cinnamon roll hero!!! Competency is definitely a kink fulfilled when Shane is talking scrabble words, books, tea, and love. You just believe that his friendships are true and his caring for Gigi is honest. His voice makes you remember what falling in love does feel like.

This book should be a recommended recovery list book; hugs you back whole again making everything feel possible with Lauren and Lili’s words.

Gigi is dedicated to her family’s pie shop, and winning an upcoming competition is exactly what she needs to continue to build Sweetie Pies’ reputation. She is focused, sharp, and loves a good board game. She is also down to earth, sweeter than her pies, and has the biggest heart.

West is just starting out on the path to living the dream he and his sister cooked up years ago. Reluctantly, he is competing, but only because his sister wants the win so badly. He is protective, swoony, and has a British accent to boot.

They hit it off one night before they take the time to connect the dots on each others’ identity. Shared interests and off the charts chemistry make for a night neither are keen to end. I loved the repartee between these two - they are a perfect match. Add their chemistry to rival sweet shops, a baking competition, and the return of a nemesis and this book had lots of entertainment stirring without a lot of extra angst.

This was a fun, sweet, sexy story. It stands alone perfectly, though there are a few side characters who had appeared in other books. This would have made for a fun weekend read (if I hadn’t started it at the beginning of a crazy work-week) as it is the perfect length for a few days of escape. I loved how the characters’ stories fit into the backdrop of the cooking competition and how they worked together to support those around them.

Good to be Bad by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a delicious sexy read! Lauren and Lili are two of my favourite authors in rom com genre and anytime I pick up one of their books I know its going to sweet, steamy and fun to read and boy did they deliver all of that in spades.

Gigi James is super focused on the success of her pie shop. She is not interested in love or any long term entanglements. She is driven, smart, sweet, quirky and exudes confidence and sass.

West Byron is irresistible, handsome and charming. From the moment Gigi meets him she cannot get enough of his swoony British charm and has her sights set on a night of fun and games, literally. They are compatible in every way. Their chemistry is scorching hot and undeniable. I loved their witty banter, flirtiness and couldn’t get enough.

As soon and Gigi realizes West is opening up a competing business across the street from her pie shop things come to screeching halt for her. Her over the top reaction was quite hilarious and made for some fun times to come between these now rival business owners. Despite the new obstacle of being business rivals things did not slow down they only intensified and deepened their connection. They are both passionate characters and were perfectly matched.

I loved the cameos of characters from the previous books in the series, but if you haven’t read their stories you won’t be missing out as this can easily be read standalone. This book is low angst, steamy and sweet and there is so much to love about it. Pick this one up you will not be disappointed!

Good To Be Bad is the third book in the Good Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. Two of my absolute favorites together again. Woo hoo! These two women just make magic when they write together and I love every word! This is Gigi's story. She's running her business, living the dream and not looking for a man. But when she hears a sexy British accent attached to a suit wearing hottie, she can't help but be intrigued and instantly attracted. West can't help but be attracted to Gigi. She's funny, sexy, fashionable and asks for what she wants. What's a little fun now and then, nothing series. Until it's more. And oh boy, is it more! Gigi and West are so fun together! They have so much in common in and out of the bedroom. Overall, I laughed, cried, got hot and bothered and smiled the entire time.

Audio: Lili Valente and Shane East once again dazzle us! They make the perfect pair and the perfect Gigi and West!

There is magic in the air when these two authors work together. As the queens of rom-com (in my opinion) Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente absolutely knock it out of the park with this addition to the Good Love series.
There is something so down to earth and appealing about a book set in a bakery, throw in a sexy British baker and you have a recipe for a sweet romance.

Oh my! What a fabulous read. I absolutely loved this book and this couple. West is sooo dreamy.
And Gigi has such a kind heart, and doesn't give herself enough credit.
Good With His Hands was a fab read, but this book trounces it, in my opinion
I hope Harrison & Pierce get a book...Lauren? ;)

Amazon / Apple / Google / Nook / Kobo / Audible

Gigi's in love with her new pie shop, in love with making pies that make others happy. Then she meets a smokin' hot Brit and the spark and the attraction between them is as hot as he is. Too bad he ends up being her new rival on the block, vying for people's sweet tooths...

Holy smokes, Batman!! Good to Be Bad is FREAKING HOT! West is hot, I mean, come on a dirty talking, slightly kinky Brit with a to die for accent?!? I've been having dreams about Tom Hardy ever since I read this (well, to be fair, I was having dreams about Tom long before, but reading this just made me dream even more...) and keep picturing him in a rom com as West, serving up tea and sweets and all kinds of other deliciousness. Anyway...Lili and Lauren really should write together all the time because this story is absolute fire. It's funny, fun, witty, and so damn hot I think I might have to buy a new Kindle cuz mine melted while I was reading. I always knew Brits were hot but this duo has taken that heat to a new level, plus given me an adorable, snarky couple that I'm in love with. Bring on more rom-coms, pretty, pretty please L & L!

Can I get an ‘ahhh’!!!

There’s duo authors, and there’s super-duper amazing duo authors and you don’t need to ask which Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are, lol. This talented pair have written one of the sweetest, funniest and most light-hearted of books I’ve read,-nay, devoured, this year. Gigi and West made me laugh, smile and quite simply want to gush with happiness.
That’s not to say there isn’t a mild helping of angst along with the snarky, sassy banter and smexy times!
Gigi is a cafe owner and West has just moved to Brooklyn from England and bought his own tea emporium. Unfortunately, both loathe the other’s signature drink, and they have entered a competition to be the best in town.
Gigi has a huge competitive streak and needs to win, as does West. They aren’t going to let their side down, but it’s hard when their feelings get added to the mix.
Contention is high, emotions too, but the sparks of attraction are even higher. What or who will win the day??
I loved this book. West is super sexy, hot and British!! Everyone loves that accent, don’t they? Gigi, is an all-American girl, who’s into books and games and doesn’t care who knows how nerdy she can be. These two were just perfect together. I melted onto a puddle of goo reading this.
If you’re looking for an easy-peasy read, then you’ve found it.

Good to be Bad was so much fun! Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely have cooked up a sweet, decadent book that was super delicious! These ladies know how to bring some intense heat in the kitchen with this enemies to lovers romance! I loved everything about Gigi and West's story

Gigi and West had amazingly, hot chemistry. Their meet cute was the best! I loved their nerdy board game passion and love of baking. I connected with Gigi's character so much. Her insecurities about relationships showed how vulnerable and hurt she had been from the past. However, insert sexy Brit, Weston, and oh man is he the charismatic and swoon-worthy hero we've been looking for. I mean is there seriously anything sexier, than a man who loves scrabble and can bake? West and Gigi's love affair is every bit spicy as it is sweet!

Overall, these ladies have written another witty and steamy story! Good to Be Bad will leave you feeling a little flushed, and your heart super happy! I devoured this book in one sitting because it is simply yummy perfection! These two ladies always make me smile, and I always look forward to more!

Good to Be Bad is a sweet, spicy, and delicious treat. Gigi is amazing and West is a unicorn of a book boyfriend.

Gigi and West bonded over their love of board games, which is super adorable, and their night ended in a passionate hook up. I loved their chemistry from the start and these two truly had an amazing connection and shared passion that jumped off the pages. Then add in the baking aspect and it added another layer to their shared passion. When they turn out to be competitors in a baking contest? All bets are off, but their undeniable chemistry is still there.

This story is just a feel good romance. There is low angst, low drama, plenty of laugh out loud moments and plenty of spicy roommates all mixed in. The dynamics of these two characters is amazing I loved how perfect they were.

If you’re looking for an enemies to lovers rom com this is one to check out.

A great story from two great authors!

I remember enjoying the last book in this series, but I think Gigi and West have taken the spot as my favorite couple they've written. From meet cute to the baking competition to the HEA, it was so much fun to watch them fall for each other.

Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely's writing styles blend really well for a great book and series! I am looking forward to reading more from them individually and together.

Thank you to the authors for providing an ARC for an honest review.

Gigi and West
First wow the narrators kicked butt and gave these characters that extra zing. I loved it.
I loved that Gigi is so fiercely determined to make her business successful and yeah the hick up could have been bad but she didn’t let that stop her.
So what if he opened up a sweets and tea shop down the road there is room for both of them.
I like that West not only just falls so hard but also knows Gigi as he gets to know her he really listens and knows she wouldn’t want to win without winning fairly.
I hope we get West’s sisters story.

From the very beginning I knew this was going to be a fantastic read and I was so glad to see that Gigi got her own book. She is cousins with Ruby from Good With His Hands. Another wonderful cowrite with Lili Valente. The banter and chemistry between Gigi and West is great. The fact that they had a one night stand and then discovered they owned what Gigi felt were rival businesses across from one another made for some very entertaining reading. West never really sees it as that. They may both have shops that revolve around drinks and sweets/baked goods that accompany them the differences won't hurt the other's business. I absolutely fell for West. He was charming and funny with just the right amount of alpha about him. Gigi was a strong woman, determined to make her family's legacy succeed. I enjoyed the book from the very beginning to the end and the HEA was perfect.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I really struggled with how to rate this book. The story is cute and fun, and had I read it instead of listening, I probably would have enjoyed it more.
Unfortunately, some of the British aspects of the story didn’t sit well with me. Mainly, because they were mixed in with the American and it just became confusing. I understand that an American audience is probably the demographic they are aiming at but in that case, I feel that the hero should have been American or at least grew up there.
I usually love listening to Lili Valente and Shane East but this book just fell flat for me. I think had the narration been a duet narration it would have been more enjoyable. The change from POV and accent was so harsh that it was difficult to focus on the story.

5 SMOOCHES!

I absolutely love Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente’s co-written novels, so I was really excited upon learning they were pairing up again on the Good Love series. Individually both of these authors have written some of my favorite romantic comedies, so I already knew that these stories would be romcom magic. Having finished the three books that have been released in this series, I can confidently say that I was not wrong. Lauren and Lili’s writing styles mesh perfectly with seamless transitioning between the two of them, resulting in a fantastically well written story. I listened to the audiobook, and Shane East and Lili Valente delivered a wonderfully charismatic, entertaining performance.

Gigi has just taken the reigns of her family’s pie shop, and she wants to preserve her family’s reputation while also to making her own mark. West is new to the area and opening a tea shop across the street from Gigi’s pie shop. I absolutely loved how they met. It was cute and fun and the chemistry was crackling from the start. West was so darn swoon-worthy, and Shane East portrayed this character perfectly. Gigi was ambitious and strong, and I loved Lili's performance.

Good To Be Bad was another stellar collaboration from the Blakely/Valente pairing. It was romantic, lighthearted and fun, this is exactly the type of entertainment I crave from this dynamic duo of authors. The story was engaging and full of charm with endearing characters and a blisteringly sexy romance – I was there for every single word of it Five smooches from me for Good To Be Bad by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente!

Good to be Bad is the third book in the Good Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. Two of my favorite authors! You can read each book has standalone but I recommend reading the series since they are absolutely sexy, funny, and oh, so swoony.

Gigi James loves a good competition. She loves board games, Rubix’s cube, and baking the best pies. She is beautifully unique with her fashion and her ways of having fun. She hasn’t met a man who could love for her. Then, she meet him. A unicorn. A sexy Brit who could solve a Rubix’s cube in under one minute, who can make her melt with his sexy brain, and swoony foreplay while playing Scrabble. One night. That’s all she wanted. She didn’t have time for more but when you catch a unicorn could you let him go?

Hell. No. But when that unicorn turns out to be the competition in a baking event? She has to think about her business. The family business in her hands. Is he worth the risk to Sweetie Pies and more importantly, her heart?

Weston Byron wasn’t looking for love. He didn’t even want to find a date but when he sees her, he just couldn’t resist. He had to have her even if it was just for one night. She captivated him. He had no idea Gigi would change his world. He just had to prove to her that he wasn’t going to hurt her like the arses before him. He loved her quirks. Loved her even more for them.

Omg!! I loved the first two books but this one is my favorite. It’s so much fun and the heat leveled up! The characters are charming, brilliant, and beautiful. I also loved their nerdy sides. I mean, who wouldn’t love to have a library with a ladder?! Swoon.

Quotes:

“Let’s drink to the best kinds of games.”
“And those are?”
I lean close, brush a soft curl of her hair off her shoulder, then press a kiss to the column of her throat. “Bedroom games, of course.”

His words are sexier than his body, and his body is a work of art.

“I don’t bite. Not unless you ask nicely and tell me how hard you like it.”

Good to Be Bad
Good Love, Book 3
By: Lili Valente, Lauren Blakely
Narrated by: Shane East, Lili Valente

What could be better than rival bakers? Talk about food, and I am listening! Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente join forces for a funny and romantic romp between Gigi and West. Gigi is the owner of a pie shop and boy do they sound delicious! Just when she thinks life is good, she finds out her one night stand is not only a perfect match for her with his sensual, British accent, but is her competitor in the bake-off she intends to win! Will this dough-lightful couple find their perfect baking time? It's light and funny with steam, all the things I love in a book! Blakely and Valente's collaboration is the perfect sweet and salty mix with a couple that is perfectly suited and a competitor you just love to hate. I laughed and loved right along with the banter and romance.

With Lili Valente and Shane East bringing our couple to life, it was more than enjoyable. Valente is amazing! She falls right into character and makes Gigi alive! And the smooth as silk voice of East had me swooning. Perfect team for this yummy story.

I love it when these two authors collaborate together, it’s an easy flow as their writing styles are so similar, it’s like it’s one and the same. This third book in the series has a slightly different feel to the others but just as satisfying to read. It’s an insta romance, without any major drama or angst, but still a lively and light love story. There are some humorous moments but I feel it is a sweet contemporary novel.

I knew Gigi was going to be special, that came across from the previous book, but she was even more effervescent and vivacious and that suited West to a T. Most of the time, she had confidence in abundance which is attractive but she also had a vulnerable side from being hurt in the past that was endearing. She wasn’t a dweller but a doer and she set about to make things right when need be and she also had a fair idea what she wanted. One of those things was the delectable and fetching Englishman she met at a game night. Weston was suave and quick with his hands, yes that too, but he could finish a Rubik’s cube in under a minute! Impressive! Other things he took his time to savor. 😉 West was smart and funny, he matched Gigi’s flirty personality and had a dirty mouth that had her swooning for more. The start of the book was a little slow going, but as a consequence, it set up the deep connection this couple had from the beginning. And every day they spent together bonded them further.

I’m not sure if there’s another book in this series, or if these two will write together again, but I know I’ll be reading it.

Good to Be Bad tells the story of Gigi James and Weston ‘West’ Byron, who after meeting on a night out of fun and games, end up having a one night stand. Unfortunately they soon discover they’re competitors not only with their businesses, but are going to be competing against one another in a food competition.
With Gigi focused on her career business, she can’t help but see West as the enemy. Even though her feelings and desire for him tells her otherwise.
With West not being able to get Gigi out of his mind, he will do whatever it takes to convince her to give him a chance and prove he is not the enemy.
But will Gigi give him a chance after having been burnt a lot in the past?

Though there were a lot of similarities to Gigi and West in terms of their passion when it came to their work, their love for their family, enjoyment with board games. At the same time they were different too, especially with their backgrounds.
Gigi having grown up in a household that didn’t have her feeling loved from her parents and so always spending time with her grandmother, brother, cousin/best friend Ruby and her aunt and uncle.
Born and raised in England, West having grown up in a happy household, amongst his three siblings and parents who were there for him, his brothers and sister Abby. Always showing and giving them love and support throughout.

I enjoyed getting to know and learn about Gigi, she had many different sides to her personalities. She was sweet, smart, kind hearted, competitive and a perfectionist as well as quirky especially when it came to her antics. But at the same time she was soft, emotional and vulnerable given her insecurities when it came to relationships. Considering how she had been hurt in the past often.
The fact that though she never had the best life growing up. She always did everything in her power to bring happiness to others, which you couldn’t help but love.
As for West, he was definitely the handsome, sexy and charming typical Brit with the accent to boot.
But just like Gigi, there was a lot more to him. Especially given the way how loyal, loving and caring he was towards his little sister Abby and always putting her first.

West and Gigi were definitely a match made in heaven, not only because of everything that they had in common. But the fact that they always were willing to put each others needs before themselves. Plus can't forget about their physical chemistry! It was OFF THE CHARTS FIRE! Being able to give and take as much as the other! They were both definitely freaks between the sheets when it all came down to their sensual prowess.

I have to say the story in the beginning went from 1-100 like a freight train, which I did not expect at all. But it made it all the more alluring and intriguing to see how the rest would play out.
My main issue was the build up to the climax and the climax itself, if you can even call it that. I just felt there was nothing really there, with it being over in the blink of an eye. I guess I just expected and preferred a little more explosion and drama to give the climax that oomph it needed to make it bigger and stronger.

With that said, I still enjoyed reading this Meet-Cute, One Night Stand leading to much more, Frenemies-to-Lovers story of Gigi and West in Good to Be Bad. I think Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente did a good job overall with this book. Especially that Epilogue, it definitely had me cracking up with laughter since I didn't expect that at all!

4.5 stars!

Sometimes you just need a feel good read to get lost in and Good to Be Bad book fits the bill. You can’t go wrong with a strong confident heroine and a sweet, swoony hero, and Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente join together to give us a love story that will put a smile on your face and love in your heart. This book is a fantastic addition to the Good Love series and one I thoroughly enjoyed!

Gigi and West meet in a bar and they just click. They share a hot night together but the next day Gigi learns that West is none other than the owner of the new tea shop opening across the street from her store, Sweetie Pies, and will inevitably take some of her customers. Then on top of that, she finds out he is literally a competitor when they both enter the Brooklyn Mr. or Mrs. Sweet Stuff competition. Gigi wants to win but she isn’t prepared for how big of a distraction West turns out to be and what follows is a swoony, sweet, sexy romance with endearing characters, an entertaining story, and a whole lot of sweets to devour!

Gigi and West hit it off immediately and when they realize who they are to each other, mainly competitors, Gigi knows she has to keep her heart out of the compettion if she wants to win. The only problem is that they perfect for each other and they just can’t stay away from each other no matter how hard they try. And West knows exactly what he wants and I love that he goes all in even when Gigi is unsure.

I want to discover every facet of Gigi. I want to read her like a good book—quickly the first time through because it’s too exciting to take my time and then slower the second and third times, savoring every beautiful sentence and perfectly executed plot twist.

They really enjoy their time inside the bedroom but they are even better outside the bedroom. They are honest and open and have so much fun together. The progression of their relationship is fast but realistic because I believed their connection and felt their attraction. They are so alike in so many ways and relate on so many levels, and I loved them together. Plus, there is no real angst or drama and I couldn’t keep the smile off my face when it comes to these two.

“Does that mean…” I begin.
“That we’re seeing each other?” he supplies.
“Yes,” I say with a smile.
“Well, it seems we already are. And have been. It seems we can’t stay away from each other. Best to give into it all. Wouldn’t you say?”
I’m giddy with hope, alive with possibilities. “I would say you’re dating the competition.”
He runs a finger down my chest, laughing.
“Sleeping with the enemy.”
“Dating the woman across the street,” I toss back.
“Yes, it seems I’m quite mad about her.”

Overall, I loved it! Gigi and West forever!

GOOD TO BE BAD is the third instalment in the contemporary, adult BAD LOVE erotic romance series co-authored by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. This is bakery owner Gigi James and British businessman Weston ‘West’ Byron’s story line. GOOD TO BE BAD can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. We were first introduced to Gigi in book two GOOD WITH HIS HANDS.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Gigi and West) GOOD TO BE BAD follows in the wake of a one-night stand between bakery owner Gigi James and British businessman Weston ‘West’ Byron, a one night stand wherein the morning after will reveal that Weston Byron is the new owner of the soon to be open “Tea and Empathy” a café in direct competition with our story line heroine, both in business and a local bake-off for bragging rights in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Weston Byron had no idea the woman with whom he spent one glorious night is the woman who would own his heart but when it is revealed that our couple are in direct competition with one another, all bets are off until neither one is able to stop the feels and emotions that continue to grow. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between West and Gigi, and the potential fall-out as sabotage and secrets threaten to destroy Gigi’s chances at winning the prize.

The relationship between Gigi and West begins as a one-night stand but neither one is aware of who and what the other one represents. Believing she has been deceived, Gigi pushes West out of her life but the heart wants something more when she realizes she may have been a little too hasty and angry with her outburst and frustration. West never expected to fall to the flamboyant little baker but when the time came to prove she was worthy of his love, Gigi knew she was the grand prize winner both in her heart and life. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and erotic without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to Gigi’ best friend and cousin Ruby Valentine (Good With His Hands 2), as well as Gigi’s brother Harrison, and their grandmother; and Weston Byron’s sister Abby; fellow bakers Willow Thompson, and Frederick Hawley.

GOOD TO BE BAD is a wonderful and enjoyable story line of family, friendships and love. The premise is entertaining and enjoyable; the romance is seductive and captivating; the characters are fun and flirty.

Too Good To Be Bad is the newest collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valenti. These two ladies can sure write a wonderful and fun story while combining it with a lot of dirty-talk and sexy hot times between-the-sheets.
Gigi James recently took over the family pie business and is totally in love with being the new owner of Sweetie Pie’s Pie Shop. Gigi is beautiful, smart, with a pension for board games and loves a bit of kink in the bedroom. Weston/West Byrun has recently moved to the states with his sister to open a tea and sweets shop featuring English tea and traditional English sweet treats. The location of this new endeavor of West’s is right across the street from Gigi’s pie shop. I completely loved this story. I love the writing styles of these two ladies. The between-the-sheets action in this story is so HOT, like 6 flames hot! If you like a dirty-talking British hero then ladies you will not be disappointed. West is amazing with the dirty talk and brings a bit of kink to the bedroom. Did I mention that Weston is British? Oh, ladies West certainly is British and the amazingly hot, sexy, and smooth voice of Shane East brings West to life. I have heard Shane East in multiple audiobooks for multiple authors and am never disappointed. Lili Valenti brings Gigi to life with her very talented narration abilities. These two narrators do an amazing job of bringing this story to life. I am so amazed how narrators can either be “just” a reader/narrator of a story which is quite dull or you can have narrators such as Shane East and Lili Valenti who have the capability of bringing such passion and emotion to life with just their voice. I just love how clearly the story plays in my mind. I can feel the passion and emotion just by listening to these two narrators. I also love that the story is told in dual POV’s.No matter your choice of how you experience this story, ebook, paperback, or audiobook, you will love West and Gigi. These two ladies definitely know how to bring passion, emotion, and super HOT and sexy between-the-sheets action to life. So very very good and HOT! Ladies, a British hero, what else is there left to say except that your ears will experience multiple O’s with Too Good To Be Bad by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valenti. I received an ARC/ALC in exchange for an honest review. *****

Gigi James is dedicated to making her pie shop the best. She is a goddess at making pies, but terrible at keeping men. So she is not looking for love, but a distraction might be okay. She is spunky, smart, quirky, competitive, and a perfectionist.

West Byron is a Brit transplanted to Boston and is a great match for her at a game night at a bar. They flirt and banter and challenge each other with equally matched skills. He is handsome, witty, and charming. And he is a lively partner in her bed that night. But she had no idea they soon would be competitors in other ways.

They both have reasons that they want to win a certain competition. She just needs to avoid the further temptation of the not-so-sweet-and-totally-naughty things she knows he can do to her body...and keep her eyes on the prize.

One-night-stand? Enemies? Competitors? Friends? Fling? Neither thinks they want a real relationship. But seem to keep playing with fire. It is a bit convoluted and hard to resist.

Is the other one just too good to be true or do they have the potential to be the sweetest thing?

This is a low angst, flirty, funny, competitors-in-love, sweet, and sexy romp. These two are adorable together and have great chemistry and bedroom compatibility. I loved that they could bond over board games, but were both intent on not playing games with the other person's emotions. They both had some realizations to come to, but they were both genuinely honest and caring people who had been burned before.

There is a fun group of side characters of friends and family filling out the story, some of them have appeared in other books. But this can also be read as a total stand-alone.

This book gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 stars.

It features a likable couple, and they have some hot scenes. It did seem, especially at first, like they were more in lust than in love. They did discover that they had a lot in common, and they were good together -- but I thought they both fell in love a little too quickly for it to be believable.

I mostly liked Gigi, but thought she shouldn't have jumped to the wrong conclusion about West after their first night together. She should have let him explain, and not just assumed he was as bad as her exes. I get that she found it difficult to trust men, since she had been so badly burned in past relationships -- but she still should have given him a chance to explain before getting so angry.

I liked West, and absolutely loved that he was so protective of people he cared about. He was the kind of big brother that lots of women wish for -- protective, but not controlling.

I thought it was funny that they had such big differences of opinion, but were able to accept each other's differences. I also liked that they were both so lighthearted and open to having "fun" together, and they were often really funny. I loved how they were both so close to their family/friends.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

If you can’t stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen, because this book about two Pastry Chefs is sizzling! Our hero and heroine are business owners who meet by chance, and as Barry White will tell you, they get it on. This is no slow burn. It’s insta-attraction, insta-lust, and an insta-good time! Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente teamed up once again to pen the third installment of their Good Love series, Good to Be Bad. These books are low on angst and high on steam, with plenty of witty banter and laughs in between.

From the very first chapter, I had a big giant smile on my face. I just adored how they met and were enamored with each other, especially when they discovered they’ve met their match as they both were smart as whips, loved various games, and were uber competitive.

Gigi James, owner of Sweetie Pies, isn’t sure at first if she can trust Weston “West” Byron, who along with his sister opens up a Tea Room and Sweet Shop right across the street. Her reaction to his business is amusing as our heroine can be a wound-up little spitfire, and it only escalates from there when she learns they will be pitted against each other in a professionally sponsored baking competition on live TV!

But our hero is ever so charming and easy on the eyes…how can she resist his sweet talk and dimples? And West can cook, loves his sister and brother, and is the best boyfriend ever. I swooned at his genuine affection and appreciation of her on many pages, and how he always put her first.

Gigi was eccentric and true to herself. She worked hard, was a wonderful friend, kind to others, and loved with her whole heart. She was thoughtful, loyal and generous, and I loved how she didn’t play head games. They both were honest about their feelings and their relationship was so passionate and continued to grow as they learned more and more about each other. Loved their flirty texts, too!

His friend Graham and his wife CJ have a cameo from the “V Card” which was a fun surprise, but please note that each book can be read as a total standalone. And if you love audio-books, West is British so his voice is super sexy!

It's no secret that I am a huge fan of both Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely. The two never fail to deliver some of the best feel-good, rom-coms with fantastic characters, undeniable chemistry, and lots of STEAM! I can't get enough of them individually so when the two team up I am a goner.

Good to Be Bad was everything I needed right now. Gigi and West are one of my favorite couples. I loved how the two of them were similar but at the same time unique. They shared a passion for baking and retro board games. Gigi and West were competitive, passionate, and extremely hot.

Gigi James loved working at her aunt and uncle's pie shop, Sweetie Pies. When they retired she bought them out and was finally living her dream of owning her own pie shop. Gigi loved her job. She was ambitious, focused, and wonderful with people. After a string of failed relationships, her only focus was making Sweetie Pies as successful as she could.

West Byron left London to pursue his dream of opening a tea shop in New York City in honor of his mother. Just like Gigi, West wasn't looking to get involved in a serious relationship. He had too much to focus on, but when he meets a sexy red head who is a no-nonsense, straight shooter, he is immediately intrigued and captivated.

One of the things I loved so much about this book is that Gigi wasn't afraid to express her desires. She was intelligent, kind hearted and empowering. Good To Be Bad was truly a fantastic read. Not only did I fall in love with Gigi and West, but also with all of the supporting characters.

I read the ebook and listened to the audio book, which was narrated by two of my absolute faves - Shane East and Lili Valente. I can listen to Shane East's voice all day and Lili is fantastic. They both had such an amazing ability to narrate different characters uniquely by giving them their own voice and personality. They were an absolute pleasure to listen to as Gigi and West.
