When 57-year-old Jessica Gabriel finds herself heartbroken and single after failed marriage number two, her adult kids convince her to explore the world of online dating. With a new haircut, a gym membership, and a dating profile as a 49-year-old (everyone knocks a few years off, right?), Jessica trudges through a pool of not-so-eligible bachelors—from a pothead who tells her weed makes sex better, to a much younger man who confuses her with a different lover, to a dominant male with a penchant for clothespins. Meanwhile, Jessica takes a job at the town hall, where she’s often left to do all of the work while her boss spends his days gossiping with his cronies. Eventually, these old-timers grow on Jessica, and she begins to count them as friends. When Jessica witnesses the lengths one of them will go to save his marriage, her hope in love is renewed. Jessica’s journey is full of tears, laughter, and an astonishing amount of sex. She learns the meaning of “catfishing” and “ghosting,” finds herself pushing her sexual boundaries, and ultimately, embraces her independence. With the love and support of her family and friends, Jessica discovers being alone doesn’t have to be lonely.
A Girl Like You, the debut novel by Cari Scribner, is an entertaining and poignant look at starting over again and figuring out what you want.
When Jessica Gabriel’s second marriage ends, she finds herself wondering whether happiness is possible for a woman on the downward slope toward 60. And what does she even want the third time around?
“I’d grown up on Cinderella and Snow White fairy tales, without question believing there was a prince out there for me. I never really got behind the idea of being saved by that prince, because I was always quite certain I could save myself, but that wildly romantic notion of having a soulmate? I’d bought into it big time.”
Lonely, craving sex and companionship, and sadder than she expected about her marriage ending, she knows it’s time to start over. Armed with a new haircut and a gym membership, she gets a job, learns to fix things around the house, and, with the convincing of her two adult kids and her best friend, she decides to take a tentative step into the world of online dating.
What she quickly finds is a motley crew—some men who are more emotionally damaged than she is, some whom she thinks might have promise (but only briefly), and some whom are wrong from the start. And then there are a few for whom she lets her guard down, emotionally and sexually, only to discover that they aren’t what they seem.
I really enjoyed A Girl Like You, and the characters were all really appealing. It’s nice to have a story with an older woman as the main character when she's not portrayed as a doddering idiot or a burden, and have her explore her sexuality as well as her vulnerability. The book is funny, sometimes sad, and definitely a bit steamier than I anticipated. And you’ll never look at clothespins the same way again!
Cari Scribner provided me with a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an unbiased review. Thanks for making it available!!
I received a copy of this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I was very excited to read this book because 1) the main character has my name and 2) I have ventured also into the crazy world of dating apps. All in all, it was a very fun read.
Even though I am only 26 and the main character is in her 50’s, I related a lot to Jessica and her adult children when it came to online dating. I’ve been on my fair share of dating apps so I know how wild and frustrating it can be. The book really highlighted the range of people and experiences you can run into on dating apps.
I also found it refreshing to read about a woman in 50’s dating and having (hot) sex. You don’t see that in very many novels. When it comes to books about women dating, the main characters are usually in their 20’s or 30’s.
I enjoyed how short the chapters were. It kept the book moving at a fast pace.
However, the ending could have been fleshed out more. It ended a little abruptly. The story was going and then something major happened (I won’t give any spoilers about what happened, but I will say it was something super relatable and sad) and then the book ended quickly after that.
Overall, this was an amusing read. If you’re looking for something light and sometimes steamy (it does get explicit at times), consider reading this book!
A Girl Like You by Cari Scribner was such a fun book, and I completely agree with the blurb on the cover saying it is like a more explicit version of Sex and the City. I have a copy of both the book and audiobook which is narrated by Scribner herself and ended up listening to it while taking a peek at the book afterward. At first, I wasn't sure how to feel about the book OR audio, but it quickly grew on me and I ended up really enjoying both! I had to get used to the author's narration but loved it by the time I was done which is always a great thing. I loved the fact that the main character is a 57-year-old woman, and I don't get to read enough books that feature these older viewpoints. Some parts are totally cringe-worthy but in the best possible ways, and it had so many funny moments associated with online dating. Having Jessica's son and daughter also online dating at the same time threw in some great moments and I loved the parts where they are teaching Jessica different things. Even though Jessica is technically a lot older than me, I didn't find it hard to relate to her and could totally understand many of the things she was going through.
It always somewhat breaks my heart when a book centers on a lonely person that has a hard time finding love, but A Girl Like You ends up being really hopeful and it has some great messages that I really appreciated. In between Jessica's kids and job, there are so many lighthearted moments, and I was really satisfied by the way the whole book ended. This is definitely a steamy read which can sometimes make me uncomfortable, but I didn't have any issues even listening to it in audiobook form. There is a lot about sex and other sexual-related things, but the way it was done had me intrigued instead of uncomfortable. I loved that Jessica was exploring her sexuality and could not get over how great some of those scenes were. She learns what she does and doesn't want when it comes to the bedroom and I can completely stand behind that. This is Scribner's first novel and I thought she did a wonderful job with it. I will definitely want to read or listen to anything she writes next and recommend A Girl Like You to romance and women's fiction fans who aren't scared of a little sex in their books.
Thank you to the author for my free digital and audio copies. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Jessica Gabriel is 57 years old and heartbroken after her second failed marriage and eventual divorce. Her best friend, Eddie, and her adult children convince her to explore online dating. Jessica tries it, and it is anything but fun. She has many dates that seem like they are going well and also many disasters. Will she be able to put her life back together and be happy once again?
This is a great read! It was funny, steamy, and overall just entertaining. I think I loved Jessica's dog, Penny, the most. I enjoyed the open ending for a sequel, which I know is in the works. I definitely plan to read it!
Many thanks to Cari Scribner for my gifted copy, I genuinely enjoyed your book.
This review will be posted to my Instagram Blog (@coffee.break.book.reviews) in the near future.
i really enjoyed a girl like you by cari scribner! i would like to thank the author for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review :)
i gave this book four stars! i thought it was refreshing reading a book about someone in her fifties trying to find love. it was incredibly fun and i was never bored. i loved seeing what all jessica, the main character, went through in her search for romance. i also like how the ending was open-ended and let readers decide how her life ended up
overall, it was funny, smart, and unique! i recommend this one to romance and contemporary fans
I loved that this book focused on an older protagonist learning how to start over again after a second failed marriage, it is not something you read about regularly these days. Jessica had a great outlook on her situation, learning to put herself out there while still processing everything that happened, and as a result she finds herself in some interesting situations (um I won’t ever see a clothespin the same way that’s for sure). The overarching theme is that life is going to happen whether we are ready for it or not, and when she learns how to accept this it is when she truly comes into her own.
This was quite a book, I enjoyed Jessica’s relationships with her family and her close friends, some of the dating situations were interesting but fun, and overall I really liked this one!
Thank you to the author for the free copy to review.
Cari Scribner writes so immediately about so many situations we can all relate to in "A Girl Like You." Some of the topics she draws us into include the perspective of a woman aging; the engulfing love for children and the memories that are an active part of daily living even when they are grown and nearby; what you'll do to keep a marriage going and what it feels like when it ends. The main character's foray into online dating reveals Scribner's talent for depicting various kinds of people so clearly that you feel that you are also on the date; in the text; part of the relationship. Even as Jessica, the main character, expands into a world unfamiliar to her, it's comforting to know that she is tethered by her children, a perfect best friend, a treasured pet, and a sweet neighbor child. Scribner also reminds us that women of a certain age still love sex! Plus, bonus points that the main character loves grammar! "A Girl Like You" is a really good read.
I liked this book, the story of Jessica, who is back dating after the break up of two marriages. She tries online dating sites and speed dating, having several adventures along the way. Perhaps jst as well she has a Gay best friend and grown up children who sound the voice of caution at regular intervals . I can understand having to get into dating again, but she does come across as naive at times. It was certainly an interesting read and at times funny and even pornographic. I liked the way that emotions were written about, open and honest and relatable. It irritated me slightly that you need a man to be complete and some American references passed me by (being British) . Thank you to Net Galley for the ARCin exchange for an honest review
Jessica is struggling after her second divorce, fearing she’ll end up alone. But her adult children encourage her to get back out there. So she tries online dating, make-overs, working out, all that stuff. Well, you can imagine the many different types of people she encounters. First off, I have to say it’s great seeing more “mature” women like Jessica depicted this way. Yes, women over fifty have great sex! Also, I loved the relationship Jessica had with her kids, so supportive and loving. This was a fun yet emotion-filled story about finding love once again.
Thank you to @nurse_bookie and @cariscribnerauthor for this giveaway win.
6 hours. That’s all it took for me to LMAO and salivate through this comical journey of the trials and tribulations of the 2020’s online dating scene! This was by far one of my favorites of July!
Change is the only constant in life… it’s best to embrace it, unfortunately for me, I hate change and have toddler tantrums before ultimately and reluctantly going along with it.
Be like Jess. When Jess’ marriage ends, she hops aboard the change train with positive vibes. She sets out to become “a confident, outgoing single woman who knew what she wanted” - new home ✔️, new job ✔️, new fitness regimen ✔️, and new men ✔️✔️✔️.
I loved Jess, a lady adjusting to a new normal in her 50s. Nuances in dating (ghosting, bitter men, and others I hadn’t even heard of) and failed connections can be felt at any age. The dating pool is tainted and needs to be drained and refreshed. But, Jess was a trooper and kept right at it, where I would’ve thrown in the towel!!
The “fish” Jess encountered were the same I’ve come across at some point, which is what made the story so relatable, honest, and hilarious. And the sex? Listen, I don’t require sex in books, but if sex is included it needs to be done right. And…I’m biting my hands because it 👏🏾was👏🏾divine👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. The few scenes that were included were off the charts. 📈Hell, chapter 74 had my hands sweating and itching because I was thinking of sending a “hey big head” text🥴 And I will be stocking up on clothes pins!!!
This book was a shocker, because I didn’t expect it to be as funny or steamy as it was! Who says your sex life has to dry up and be dull in your 50s? Or at any point in life?! I thought about adding some novelty items to the book pic, but didn’t want to get reported!
Question for the author: were you inspired to write this while listening to Cardi B’s WAP? 🤔 And whyyyyy did you have me all stirred up, then have me in tears?! But then smiling at the end?!
This book had me feeling all the feels between laughing out loud to tearing up. It is a feel good story about Jessica who is suddenly thrust back into the dating pool as a woman in her 50’s. She enters the world of online dating to her horror and delight. She meets men from all over the spectrum, men with fetishes to overgrown babies. All while her grown children are having similar experiences with online dating themselves.
I really loved the scenes where Jessica goes on the dates with the different men. Most of them were laugh out loud funny and can I just mention the clothespin date 🤣. It really brought to light the spectrum of online dating though, from people who are just looking to hook up to others who want to settle down immediately.
This book was a fun read and I really enjoyed the different perspective of a character that is a little older than the usual 20 something MC.
Read if you enjoy: 🧷 Dating after divorce 🧷 FMC in her 50’s 🧷 Laugh out loud scenes
A huge thank you to Cari Scribner for the copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Enjoyed this one! Finding love is hard, let alone after two divorces, and even harder when you are new to online dating. This book sees it all and I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Cari for the copy
An adorable book. Jessica Gabriel is in a devastating situation, her marriage fell apart, and her children suggest that she try to date someone through a dating website. After thinking about it, Jessica agrees and starts doing activities like signing in for a gym membership, getting a haircut. She thinks this will help her attract attention from single men. However, she comes across bachelors she does not like. It was an adventure for me to read this book as Jessica's personality is comical and charming. I was amused by the author's descriptions of Jessica's thoughts in the situations, especially when she dated the men. It is, for me, a book that I enjoyed from beginning to end. I thank NetGalley and Circuit Breaker Books for providing me a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
A Girl Like You is spun as an “explicit Sex and the City” type of book so I knew I had to read it! It started off strong and I was so interested in learning more about 50-ish year old Jessica‘s life after her second divorce. The author used some of the best one liners to wrap up chapters. Also, the short chapters - always a plus in my book!
The writing is descriptive. The horrific (fashionably speaking) Halloween leggings that Jessica wore on dates didn’t feel very SATC-Carrie for me. 🙈🙊
Sadly, Jessica’s online dating life wasn’t at all fun as her dates were all duds and felt tedious. It was lacking the stream 🔥 I thought would’ve been the center of her story for the first 3/4 of the book.
The ending was strongly focused on a situation that I felt disconnected from the theme in the book. Without spoiling it, I think that whole section would’ve have been best left out. All in all, this was a good read! If you’re a middle aged woman venturing into online dating, you’d especially enjoy this book!
This past year I’ve explored new-to-me genres including romance and rom-coms and this one caught my attention because the main character, Jessica, is 57 years old! Jessica is a likable and relatable woman with 2 grown children who is recently divorced for the second time. Fortunately, her kids and friends are supportive and help her enter the world of online dating.
I enjoyed the trials of Jessica’s dating adventures! Some were laughable while others would have made me give up! There is steam in this book but I have no idea of the level since I don’t read enough to gauge 🤷🏻♀️This book is a quick and entertaining read and perfect for summer!
Today’s my stop on the book tour for A Girl Like You. Thank you to @letstalkbookspromo & @cariscribnerauthor for including me in this tour and for the gifted copy to read and review.
The book follows recently divorced Jessica as she re- enters the dating scene in her 50s. It was fresh to read a romance from the perspective of a woman her age. My favourite relationship in the book is the actually the one Jessica has with her children- their closeness and time together were some of the strongest moments for me.
It disappoints me so much when I don’t like a book, but this is one that I honestly did not like. I had a very hard time being engaged with it in the beginning and it was a challenge to keep my focus.
I enjoyed the stories of her online dating escapades but after awhile they just got tiring. The ending with her dog felt so random and out of place. I liked the very ending part of it but that’s about it honestly.
I really enjoyed this book and the full range emotions it took you through! It was easy to read and very relatable. I instantly felt connected to the main characters and was invested in what happened.
✍️ One Sentence Synopsis: There seems to be plenty of fish in the sea, but not all of them are a catch.
💭 Overall Thoughts: I don’t think I agree how this was marketed as a Sex in the City humorous tale but I did enjoy it.
Instead, I would say this is more of a self discovery journey after divorce—- stepping out in the dating world, stretching your comfort zone and dealing with the trials and tribulations that come along the way.
There were definitely humorous moments as well as moments that made me tear up and moments of hope. There are some salacious sex scenes— some that might be a little too intense for some. Don’t let that cut close pin on the cover fool you!
I did love how Jessica, the main character learned through each of her relationships and dates. I loved how she and her children supported each other and were open about the experiences they were having individually in the dating world with each other. I loved the character of little Lily who seemed to be a symbol of hope throughout the book.
What I Liked: 👍 The character growth over time. 👍 The emotion built into the writing. 👍 The bad date escapades we can all relate to.
What I Didn’t Like: 👎 The first half or so was a little slower paced than I would have liked. Some of the dates I felt could have been reduced to a recap to Jessica’s daughter or son.
⚠️ Content Warnings: divorce, pet loss, some intense sex scenes
Thank you to Cari Scribner for providing a copy of her book with request for an honest review.
Do you ever have that feeling that perhaps someone is spying on your life? Cari are you in my bushes peeking into my windows?? I ask because the author has written a book that I feel like I lived. I ended a long term, long distance relationship, 3 years ago at the ripe old age of 40. Once I moved past the hurt, I knew I wanted to date but had no clue how. How does a 40 year old date? By using dating apps friends. Swiping is our friend. It is not for just those young ones. So I dated a lot. They all have cute nicknames too. Stalker Chris, Disappearing Jeff, Anal before apps, Call me an Uber John, Talk on the phone during dinner Matt, Mom's Panties, and I could keep going. Online dating is hard folks.
This is why I so related to this book. Jessica is me, a little older but still me. Her relationship ends, she tries online dating to about the same result as me, her bff is supportive and wants to help, her kids are also supportive and the relationship is just so open and refreshing. I loved this book. Every drop of it.
5 stars from me. I laughed a lot, I cried a bit, I kept rooting for Jessica to find the guy, and I was so engaged with this book. I read it in one sitting. I am so glad the author reached out to me for a review. Books like this I want to promote. I want people to know that life doesn't stop being fun after 40 or 50, and I really love seeing women MY AGE, doing what I am doing, in books. I want to read them all.
Thank you again Ms. Scribner for sending me a copy of your fantastic book. It will make my top books for the year.
Jessica Gabriel is 57 years old and twice divorced. She thought she had "The One" with her first husband, in which she has two adult children from. When he suddenly wanted different things then their marriage, he left and they divorced. She met her next "The One" shortly after. That only lasted a few years and she is alone once again.
Thus begins the main part of this book--Jessica's dating trials through an app. We get to see the good, the bad and the worse. There were some pretty interesting men. I kept waiting to see what Jessica would find next as her reactions to the men were pretty funny. While she is dating, she is also working on herself. She gets a new job (to help support her Amazon addiction), a makeover, and a membership to the local YMCA.
Jessica's journey is funny, sad, and emotional. I loved her relationship with her two children, Maddy and Ian, and that she was so honest and open with them. I enjoyed that they were all in the dating world together and could relate to one another. I did feel like that Jessica needed to know how to be alone as she never really lived her life by herself. She spent a lot of time focusing on being happy with a man. The ending was sweet and hinted at a promising future for her.
Thank you to the author for my gifted copy in exchange for my honest review.
A Girl Like You by Cari Scribner. Thanks to the author for the gifted copy and swag ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jessica Gilbert is reeling from her second divorce. While amicable, she can’t help but feel she will end up alone in life. With the assistance of her two single, young adult children, she signs up for online dating and a quest for adventure.
This book was an absolute pleasure to read. I’ve read a few books lately about middle-aged women finding themselves after a divorce, and I am here for it! While Jessica is going through a tough time, she dips her toes in the internet dating pool. Her many dating experiences often read as short, but hilarious, quips and I got super excited when I knew a new date was coming up. Jessica also has her best friend Eddie, and her two adult children who also are dating. As Jessica learns about the dating world, she begins to learn about herself as well. About halfway through I felt a stagnation coming, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The book took a turn towards the end. It became more steamy.. hello, yes, I’d been waiting for Jessica’s moment! It also became emotional, as rejections start to bite and Jessica reprioritizes after tragedy. It got very there sad for a moment (and I think many readers will take it hard), but then the ending lifted me again and left me with a smile on my face.
“Grief as it turned out, wasn’t linear. It was more like one step forward, two steps back. Or up and down. A fucking roller coaster. I wasn’t prepared for that kind of sorrow. I wasn’t prepared to be that alone.”
Jessica Gabriel and her second husband decide to call it quits when their marriage just isn't working anymore. Heartbroken and embarrassed at having two failed marriages, Jessica dives into the world of online dating with the help of her adult children. Equipped with a new dating profile, she also snags herself a new job at the town hall. Slowly but surely she begins to put the pieces of her life back together.
I really loved Jessica, Cari Scribner wrote her so well that it felt like I was experiencing her life right along with her. There were several instances where I laughed out loud at situations Jessica had gotten herself into. Additionally, I could not be more thankful to not be dating. It's a jungle out there!
A Girl Like You is a wonderfully told story of love lost, the grief that goes with it, and the empowerment that comes with being who you really are. It was so fun to tag along as 57-year-old Jessica started to truly discover who she is.
ENDLESS thank you to Cari for the gifted copy of her wonderful book along with all the goodies that came with it! (The clothespin now makes sense, and it's hilarious)
This book involves the story of a lesser talked about demographic with the main character reentering the dating world in her late 50s. I appreciated the change of pace, and as this is something my mom is currently going through, it felt a bit more real to me. In fact, I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by the author herself, and I felt as though the story almost felt like a memoir instead of a novel. Each dating adventure felt like the journal entry she'd write when she got home from the dates. I had to stop thinking about it being similar to my mom, however, because it gets STEAMY in parts. I feel like I need to put a trigger warning about the death of a pet because that was something that caught me off guard and left me a little bit unsettled. It plays heavily into the last portion of the book.
I laughed, I cried, I rooted for her, but then the end just kind of stops and we have to assume everything works out? She had so many struggles, two failed marriages, she was ghosted, she was catfished, and then that's it! I wanted a little more story and less sexcapades, then more resolution at the end of the story, but it was definitely entertaining!
Thank you to the author, Cari Scribner for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
OMG! I have to say that besides the divorce & 2 husbands, Jessie is me!! (I’m married 1x, going on 22 years). I have never experienced a character so relatable in a book ever! Let me just list a few things that we have in common…
—Amazon shopping (packages almost every day!) —Leggings (my daily “uniform!”) —Dogs (have 3 & foster) —Relationship with kids (I think they are my best friends!) —Kids before all else (is there anything else in life?) —Growing apart from spouse because of kids (my husband once told me when they were little, “we’ll find our way back once the kids are in college.” 😟) —Hair straight to curly (stick straight entire life, I now have a mop of curls!) —Landscaping (if my nose isn’t in a book or with my kids, I am digging in the dirt!) —Trying to find self now that kids are grown (I think about this daily as college is a year away in this house!)
⭐️ This was a comical, laugh out loud, emotional, sexy read that I wish I would have started earlier! It flowed nicely, which made it hard to put down. I think this one may have gotten me out of my reading slump!!
Thank you @cariscribner for the book and nudge(s) to read it. I apologize for taking so long!
I really enjoyed this book! While it's not my normal genre, when the author messaged and asked me if I would read it, I had to say yes! It sounded like it was going to be so fun and it was!
I loved Jessica and outside of never having been divorced, found her to be so relatable! Her online dating adventures made me laugh, cringe and be thankful that I am not dating in today's world!
I also loved the relationship that Jessica had with her kids and with her best friend, Eddie! And I can't leave out her little dog, Penny, who was such a comfort to her as she navigated this journey to self-discovery. I thought that the ending was perfect, and hope that there will be a sequel!
Overall, this book was funny, sexy, steamy, endearing and at times heartbreaking. I flew through it in 24 hours and was sad when it was over!
I was also surprised to read that this is the author's first novel because it was so well written!
Thank you so much @cariscribnerauthor for the gifted copy of your book!!
This has been all over #booksta so I know you all know about this one. I will just say a clothespin has been changed forever in my life 🤣 I absolutely loved Jessica. It was a fun change of pace to have the main character 50+ and her dating fiascos were silly, scary and wild. The writing is incredible. I just loved the style Cari writes in and the way you feel like your chatting with a friend. Also enjoyed the strong relationship she had with her children and how they all shared their dating experiences. It was extremely heartwarming and sweet. I will say that this book is steamy-for me. I don’t usually do steam so it was definitely out of my comfort zone. There were times it made me blush 😌 All in all I’m glad I challenged myself and got out there. I really thought this was fun! Now back to my darkness 😈
First of all, thank you to the author for this book! . This book tells Jessica’s story as a 57-year-old, moving on with life after her second divorce. . Jessica meets some interesting characters as she explores the world of online dating. I will say I was laughing out loud multiple times! There were some cringey parts and some heartwarming parts. . I loved Jessica’s family- her son & daughter also took a dive into the online dating pool! . I also really appreciated a main character that was different from the other books on my self. I loved the sex-positivity theme throughout this book as well! . Without giving any spoilers, a major event in the end of the story was very hard for me to read. Overall, this was a very enjoyable read! At one point, I had to switch from the physical book to the audiobook (thank you, @scribd) because I was so invested in Jessica’s story!
I received this book for an honest review! Thank you Cari Scribner!
This book was just what I needed to relieve some of the heavy books I've been reading lately! This book (at times) had me laughing out loud! I could see this being my life, but I've always told my husband of 27 years..."If something ever happens to us or our relationship, I will NEVER remarry!"
This is the story of Jessica Gabriel. Jessica is 57 years old and has been married twice. Both marriages ended amicably but, leaving her alone and looking for love. She has two adult children, Madison and Ian. All three entering into the on-line dating scene.
Here are a few funny things that this book explores...
*online dating *Halloween leggings and obsession with Halloween in general *clothespins *dildoes and vibrating wands (purple of course) *pot smoking ego-maniac *a Harley riding inflatable skeleton *aura's *speed dating *a gay best friend (everyone needs one of these!) *and a yorkie who is loveable and a reliable side kick (Penny)
All of these things make an interesting and hilarious book (with a lesson)!
Jessica is stepping out of the box in her knew single life. The term, 'You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet Prince Charming' seems to be the premise of this Cinderella-esq type tale!
I really enjoyed this book. Not the normal book type I read, but this one came to me at the perfect time! Pick this one up for a light hearted, date driven escape!! It's fun in a learning process sort of way...YOU need to be happy with YOU first!!! Sometimes you just need to be reminded.
