The Stranger

Rate this book
Something is happening in the town of Northpoint. The Sheriff’s brother has been murdered, his nephew has disappeared, and his sister in law is the prime suspect. But as Hal, the Sheriff in the small town, continues with his investigation, he soon finds out that this case is anything but normal.
People around town are getting sick with a fast-moving flu that leaves them bedridden only hours after the first symptoms. Children start to vanish. And all the while, a man—a dark figure standing far off in the distance, assessing—is seen by multiple people in the town. Hal, still unable to comprehend the grisly death of his brother, must try to find some common thread between everything—a feat that seems impossible.
As the case unfolds things take a turn for the worse. The sick become aggressive, actively hunting the remaining “healthy” people in town. Hal and his group of survivors band together to figure out what is happening as well as come up with a plan to stop the growing darkness that is consuming the town. And in the process, Hal, along with his deputy, find out about the death of a child from decades before that is somehow haunting the town, breaking it apart at the seams, a curse smelling of revenge.

One of the Best!!!!

WOW!!!!! I am in awe of this author’s mind. To think up this intricate story and then to find out the reason behind it.......I can’t even explain it. The characters and the attention to detail. All of the characters came alive on the page....this author definitely has a gift. This story pulled me in....I felt like I was reading a movie script (this would make a great movie btw). A perfect mix of thriller, horror, parental love, supernatural and heroism. I went through every emotion reading this....please do not miss out on this INCREDIBLE story!!

Not worth it

This was one of the most disjointed stories I ever tried to read. There were so many typo errors it made it impossible to keep following the story. Don't waste your time.
