From Yona comes an invigorating, page-turning urban romance finale, Leah & Dre 2, that will conclude in ways you'd never expect. This story picks right back up where it left off. After dealing with some major betrayal, Leah finally feels like she has found love. However, everything soon came crashing down in one traumatizing car crash. Leah realizes she may have to sacrifice everything for her kids, and without a second thought, she’s willing to. At the same time, Dre was having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that his life may just be too good to be true. While he thought he found love, he wasn’t sure if love had really found him. As if that wasn’t enough, a drastic moment with his cousin had him willing to risk everything he worked hard for and turn back to the streets. Take one last ride with Aleah and Dre as they find themselves at odds. And their relationship quickly seems to fade to the back. Will they be able to pull things back together and weather the storm? Or will too much damage be done that they can’t bounce back from?
I don’t know who cried more, Dre or Leah. I know we were supposed to be reading about emotional moments, but the crying was just too much! Ironic that they cried at the drop of a hat, but the baby was born and didn’t cry. The shooting scene made absolutely no sense. The whole little side story was nothing but a filler. Glad the storylines wrapped up, but this book dragged quite a bit.
Yona, you showed a true love story. I'm kinda glad that you didn't have them married at the end because the growth and love that Dre and Leah had for one another was so mature and free. Okay, now Nymir thought he was such the man when all he was and is is a poor excuse for a man. Although, he and Leah will co parent well. I also appreciated how Leah and her sister's loved one another and how Shay finally found love and moved on from Dre. Felt bad a little bit for Kamirra but she had so many issues within herself that I knew she was gonna do something stupid and she did. That had Dre in a deep dark place I was so glad that he didn't stay there. Amelia and Don could have a great relationship I think because both of them are afraid to mess up the friendshdip but isn't that how some great loves begin? Yona, if you wanted to they could have a spin off.😃 Dre was such a determined young man, even when he was on the block he had a plan and it truly paid off. Watching him love Leah until she saw her worth was so sweet.. Leah is gonna have a fight though for a minute when she's ready to go back into the work force or maybe not . This was so good it was full of fun, emotional, understanding, growth, love , and strength. Great job. Yona
Another bomb read nobody should miss out on!!! The aftermath of the accident could have broken everything Leah & Dre had managed to create. Cion being in in that coma and leah finding out she was preggo was enough to make any woman crumble. Im glad Dre was able to realize those other women were not the ones he needed in his life. Nymir had a big set of nerves to even think that asking or trying to get Leah back would work. He hurt her, broke her down too bad. I hate Karrima went the route she chose, but she should have known that Dre wasnt going for what she offered. Leah & Dre may not have had the perfect ending, but it was good for them because there is still some growing and learning each other that needs to be done. Amelia and don are some characters. They both just need to get it together!!
I love all of the characters in this story. There are no issues with the kids merging the family. Dreams mother is receptive to the relationship Dre is involved in and she has moved on in her relationship. Dre proves to be attentive to the needs of everyone. Don and Amelia are a trip. I believe something is there that they are running from. I liked the way the mothers got along. Family is very important to everyone. Dre has a good job but it appears that he made it when he was in the street. Leah's ex- husband deserves Morgan. They were both Rachel. Dre's ex didn't deserve to die but I thought she displayed bipolar tendencies in her last two meetings with Dre. This story was well written. and is the second book I have read by this author.
This whole series is DEFINITELY worth ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! Part 2 picked up right part 1 left off. I'm so glad that Leah got what was owed to her! Morgan was still pressed but why when her trifflin self was in the wrong! Nymir finally grew up and gave Leah what she wanted. Now Dre he is fa sho BAE💕💕!! When I say he came thru and showed out! Him & Leah had a bond and love that was buiilt off true genuine friendship! They literally went from being strangers to best friends to lovers!! They healed each other. I was so proud of Shay this go around she matured so much! Kamirra I wish she woulda fought harder to get herself together for her self & not anybody or any other reason! If u haven't got started on this series u need to start! Get in them Philly streets with this crew!!
I love how this story ended. Even with Leah and Dre in love and finally getting their happiness they were not rushed to marry. They went through ups and downs but their love each other conquered all. I was so happy that Dr and the kids recovered from the accident. I hated how Nymir was acting towards Leah but soon realized he was no good for her and finally gave her the divorce she wanted. Shay grew up and I like how she was able to get along with Leah and co-parent without issues. That darn Amelia and Don’t need to stop playing and gone ahead and hook up. They just scared of love I think but I fee they would be good together. All in all this live story was dope and ended on a good note.
Oh wow! Now that’s how you end this book. I was so happy that Dre and Leah got there fairytale ending. Kamirra was so crazy, I never figured she would kill her self because she couldn’t have Dre. It was good to see that Leah and Nymir was able to work through the accident with the children, divorce, and still coparent together. It was great to see Shay finally grow up when she got in another relationship. Great job, I now want to see Don and Amelia take their relationship to the next level.
I am so glad everyone pulled through their challenges. I just love Dre. He was not playing no games when he told Leah it was her decision if she lived or died if she made the choice to get an abortion. I bet she got back in the car 😂😂. Morgan and Shermaine needs to be locked in a box with fire ants. Them two, especially Morgan did the most and Nymir just pathetic. I love Don and Amelia, I hope we hear from them also cause they seem like they got a story to tell.💌💌
Now that's what you call a real man. Dre came through and did that. Kuku ass Mirra. Her mammie should've been trying to get her crazy ass some help. She wanna blame everyone but her. What ever happened with Bill's mommy? Just on GP I would still beat Morgan's ass. She had way too much mouth. I hope she doesn't think that Nymir gonna be faithful. Same way you got-em will be the same way you lose-em!!!!!
This story is what I was talking about. It had a real life feel to it. Dre was a man that knew what he wanted out of life and the type of relationship he wanted. He chose Allah. Although their lives had some issues, they seem to work them out without having to turn to sex with someone else.
Amelia and Don need to hook up and get their own story.
Sooo Dre’s mama knew Aleah was pregnant but conveniently didn’t tell him until days later🙄 girl that was a reach and made absolutely no sense. Not going to lie that detail took me over the edge. This book is Lowkey trash🤷🏾♀️ plot was thrown together…none of the characters have good sense…dialogue seriously lacking… and the only having the dre and Leah’s perspective was horrible especially when there are other “main” characters involved.
Leah and Dre grew up and bonded together. They learned each ither inside out. In which made a blossoming relationship. I wish Morgan would've caught a fade. She's still messy as ever. Shay matured a lot. Don and Amelia are both crazy. I hope they get their own story. As Long as he get that mouth fixed. Great Job
This was a dope series im glad cion came out that come omg that was soo sad im glad Leah kids and dre mad it out alright his ex is crazy though and Leah husband was terrible to lying bout them kids but trying to tell her who she should be with he had some nerve..loved it definitely enjoyed the read
I’m so glad Nymir finally came to his senses and gave Leah the divorce. Dre is a good man and father. Coin will grow up to be a good man because of Dre. Morgan and Nymir need to be sued for having that woman think those kids were her grands. I hope the next book is about Don and Amelia
I enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end. I don’t always find one like this. Hard working boy from the hood makes it out as a college graduate and business man. He has just enough hood left in him to make him so appealing. Look forward to reading more from this author.
Yaaas Leah and Dre (Quanny), the glow up was definitely real. Both of them upgraded their relationship. After being down and out in the first book it was nothing but up from there. I’m so glad they got their HEA. Nymir was let off way to easily, I would have liked to see him suffer more. But I guess losing Leah was his punishment.
Good book. Good story. The only parts that really pissed me off was Dre talking about killing Leah and her family if she got a abortion. I know he was mad but he didn't have to threaten her or her family. I hated Leah's cousin Sharmaine she deserved to get her butt beat by Amelia. I do wish that Amelia and Don would actually be together they are funny.
I loved both PT 1 & PT 2 Of this series..this was such a good love story..Aleah & DreQuan definitely came into each others life as friends but ended up being wht each other needed..Don & Amelia were just alike but they were cool with each other..I really Enjoyed it..story line was on point.. A really good read⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm sooo glad that this crazy ride is over and everything with Leah and Dre are good. I'm stocked at the maturity Shay showed in this book. I love how everybody gets along so good. I just wish I could have seen karma kick Morgan but and honestly Nymir too
Dre was definitely one of the good ones. I love the way they were able to blend their families together. After all that Leah and Dre went through, there's nothing in the world better than a happily ever after ending to a book.
This series was amazing. I loved the story line as well as the characters. The drama that unfolded was incredible. I know of my friend slept with my husband and had kids by him, I would have beat the brakes off her and him. Great job.
I love the love and respect that Leah and Dre shared with one another and both families. I was surprised nothing devious came from the car accident. It would be nice to have a part 3 wedding.
Happy to read a real loving series with some hood and laugher in it. DRE and Leah was so cute but that damn Don & Amelia was out of control it has to be a book coming for them
Leah and Dre were the definition of relationship goals. They started as friends. Then they became lovers. The blended family got along really well, so that was a plus also. Don and Amelia are a different story. We may read about them one day.
A great ending to a well written story. This story for better and better and I hated for it to end. I enjoyed every page and loved these characters. This author has become one of my favorites and I love her writing style.
I'm happy that Dre and Leah got their happy every after. Now I need her sister and his brother/cousin story I believe they will make a crazy and funny story. I recommend this book.
Loved It. The nerve of big Cion being a dirty nigga and taking my kids cause you dirty. Aleah was broke to be built up by a real man. Quarry 😍. Kids were respectful and the mommas were funny. Good Job!
A lot of hard work went into the relationships between DreQuan and his child's mom. The same for Leah and her daughter's father. But it all ultimately lead to their HEA.
This book is was very entertaining from start to finish I love Amelia and always relationship as sisters. After what Akeya husband dis to her um glad she kept an open heart
