This was the first time reading a book by this author and I definitly gonna read more of her. This book was fast paced to the max. It was a whirlwind of things happening and an rollercoaster of emotions. Sometimes I had the feeling it all went a bit to fast between Jenna and Ian, but for the story I think it was good.

I liked how much sass Jenna has, she says what's on her mind and doesn't hold back. And Ian, ohh swoon, that guy.. A big mouth with a small heart. The spicy scenes are written very well and the writer has an easy to follow writingstyle. She has a nice flow in her style. The chapters weren't to long so it was easy to read more and more.

Please check the trigger warnings before reading.

Thank you author for the change to read this book.

I wanted to love this. I've been trying to find a good exotic dancer romance I could believe in, but I couldn't even finish this one. The chapter organization was all over the place, bouncing back and forth between POVs, ending abruptly and starting up again randomly. A lot of the dialogue was cheesy and cringe, the angst was nowhere to be found, and the sex scenes lacked some necessary cohesion for me.

When the Mafia part kicked in, I had to put it down. Right away, I was being told how much of a powerful badass guy the MC was, instead of actually feeling it. As the reader, I should be able to deduce that on my own by how the scene unfolds, and I just couldn't see it.

I binge read this in one sitting & I'm really not sorry about it 🤣

I was kept on the edge of my seat from the get go. Jenna never ceased to amaze me. I loved how she is the true definition of a "𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴" 🤭

I went in totally blind not know what to expect and I found I loved it more than I thought I would. The writing style is so easy to read and the plot just flowed effortlessly.

The banter, the quirkiness, the mafia vibes, the found family and friendship. I was here for it! I'm so excited for book two!

loved this

Jenna’s story starts out tragic with her parents passing away but that’s not all her brother gets everything and she realizes her boyfriend is a complete d bag. Good riddance to him. She goes and finds herself a dancing job to make ends meet. That’s when she meets Ian knight . It was installer between these two and just the scenes of steam between them were so yummy. Jenna is one seductive woman and she definitely got more than she bargained for working at club euphoria. There were so many twists and revelations in this book it was so hard to put down.

Steamy, mysterious, and captivating! I loved this book! Jenna, a down on her luck student, meets Ian at her new place of work and sparks fly immediately. But everything isn't perfect, and drama soon unfolds. I was hooked on this author's unique dialogue and strong characters, and needed to know what came next in her engaging plot. I fell in love with the side characters, and I hope I get to see what comes next for them in the sequel!!

Just Business by V.B. Emanuele is the first book in the Club Euphoria series. Now I dived into the series based on its promotion as a mafia romance with dark themes. I never read the author before, but the premise intrigued me, and so I decided to go for it. After all, I had nothing to lose. Besides, a few hours of sleep if the book held my attention.

Just Business turned out to be quite an entertaining read. I had a fun time with it. The spice was fine and indicative of what would expect from an erotic romance.
I enjoyed getting to know the characters, Jenna and Ian. Although, it's my belief that Ian's character could have done with a little more development.

The romance between Ian and Jenna felt developed nicely. Their initial meeting was fun. They met on Jenna's first day as an exotic dancer, and she had no clue he was her boss. Her reaction when she learned his identity was priceless. The suspense element delivered some edge of your seat moments. It definitely amped up the fear factor where the main characters were concerned. Mostly in Jenna's case

The story gave a peak into the world of exotic dancing. It shows how some girls get involved in that world out of necessity, some because they enjoy it. The story also highlighted the dangers associated with the profession. The secondary characters piqued my interest and had me wanting to read their stories. At least some of them. They aided in making the story fun and suspenseful.

Now, as much as I enjoyed the story for the escape it offered, it suffered from one of my biggest pet peeves. Several of the events that occurred were told instead of shown, as such, readers do not have the opportunity to experience these moments. Also, the situations involving Jenna's brother felt disjointed in some areas.

As it relates to Ian, readers are aware he is the owner of an exotic nightclub and that he also a mob boss. However, information regarding how he became a feared crime boss was not divulged. Also, the story portrayed him as a powerful and feared mob boss, but the reader saw no demonstration of this.

Just Business was tame in comparison to the other mafia romances I've read. While I enjoyed the story, it could do with some improvement.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This is the re-release of the first book in the Club Euphoria series. It is a mafia, boss-employee romance that is VERY steamy.

The female main character, Jenna, needs a job to pay for law school after her wealthy parents die. She finds an ad for a local club needing a dancer, only to find out it’s an exotic dancing job. She takes the job because she really needs the money, but when she meets her boss, Mr. Knight, it becomes about way more than just business.

This was the first book I’ve read by this author and will definitely not be the last. It was so spicy and very well done. Their first scene together in the club was almost too hot to handle! And the side characters are amazing as well. I really hope to see more from Chance and Amber! The mafia scenes were intense and made for a great plot aside from the romance.

Are you wondering… how insanely enticing can a book be when a stripper and mafia boss fall in love??? The answer is VERY!!! I was captivated by just the first couple chapters. This book does not waste any time bringing you to your knees, making you want to beg for more!! Or maybe it’s the sexy mafia men 🤣 not only is this book filled with action and possessive men out for revenge but it’s also an amazing love story. My heart was full with the ending of this book 🥹 if I could re-read it again for the first time, I would!!!

Intriguing, Suspenseful, Thrilling, and Sensual!
Amazing story start to end, the description of the setting is very well presented, characters are portrayed in a deep sensual manner, and events are fast-paced and exciting!
I don't want to spoil anything but it suffices to say this is a book that anyone will enjoy, the characters are relatable and heartful, and their development is realistic and deep.
Highly recommended!

I can not express enough how much I love this book. V.B. Emmanuel was a new to me author. I loved V. B's writing style. My favorite moments are my favorite trope. They characters are believable, and their love story is like an amusement park ride. I love that Jenna did what she had to do to accomplish her goals. Highly recommend if you enjoy Mafia breeds. I will be going to read more òf V.B Emmanuels books.

“Bad girls don’t get what they want. Especially when they don’t ask nicely.”

Ian freaking Knight 🔥 He was my very first book boyfriend when this book originally came out and rereading it’s new release just reminded me why! This man is mine and I will not share.

This book has literally everything you could ever want. Plot. Suspense. Twists and turns. Touch her and die vibes. A sexy morally gray man. @vbemanuele did it yet AGAIN. You don’t wanna miss out on this one yall.

Steamy and full of drama

Jenna captivates the attention of club manager Ian, and sparks blossom

I enjoy this story. The plot flowed nicely and I enjoyed the characters and their development throughout.
Although I felt it started slow, I was glad it eventually picked up and gave alot of drama and suspense, and I was fully engrossed with the idea of what would happen next.

I also enjoyed how it ended, was a sweet and wholesome ending

4.75⭐️ WOW … this book has it ALL … Love story, mafia, lots of spice, mystery, family rivalry, possessive relationship, and so much more!!! Jenna’s parents are killed in a car accident and leave everything to her older brother. She is in law school and running out of money to pay her way, and decides to get a job at an exotic dance club to help make money. Ian is the club owner and local mafia leader and when he first sees Jenna, he is entranced. Their story has many twists and turns and kept me intrigued through every page!

Just Business is the first book in the Club Euphoria and THIS IS A MUST READ!!!!

I was first introduced to Valentina's books through The Veil series. And from there on out I became such a HUGE fan! What I've noticed (like three series later) is that it keeps getting better and better, with each series. Jenna and Ian had INSANE amount of chemistry and sparks flew. I loooved Jenna. She was very strong-willed, even though she has been through hell. Can't wait for more of the Club Euphoria series!

Sexy, intense, intriguing and more. This book is captivating in so many ways and leaves you on the edge of your seat. A real page turner you don't want to put down. The dynamic between Ian and Jenna is so relatable, but also so complex at the same time. Leaving you to feel as though you could be Jenna, but also wish that you were.

Have read a few times and will definitely read again.

Quote:📖
I felt lightheaded… Crossing his arms, he cocked his head with a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “Or as some like to call me, The 🍆, Boss.

“First of all, you are very special.” He pressed his lips to my forehead then peered into my eyes. “Second of all, if you roll your 🤬 eyes at me again, I will spank you.”

Thoughts: 💡
This book was fun and the first half had me engrossed and on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the whole story, but the focus and plot of the story does seem to shift about mid way through.
There are some awkward word choices but the only one that tripped me up was the repeated use of the word gape. It would have made a lot more sense if it was the word gaze; but this is an international author so it might be common to use the word gape that way in her culture.
This was definitely a dramatic story; but the author does a good job of explaining what happened to cause the drama so I liked it.
All the characters had some measure of depth which made this story enjoyable. The main character was somehow magically good at everything she tried, but they were also things that made sense for the MC to be good at so it kept her from becoming a full Mary Sue.
I liked the story and I think it works as a whole. There were elements that weren’t my favorite but it worked together to make an enjoyable story. I think I’m going to enjoy more stories from this author in the future.

Fun Bits:
⚜️ So Much Smut
⚜️ A few Kinky Things
⚜️ Lovable Side Characters
⚜️ Anti-hero MC

Important Note:✨
This book is a rerelease of a previous story, but the author has rewritten the story.

I absolutely loved this book, their story a great start to the series. The author is new to me and will be going into my top authors list. Once I started this story I couldn't stop or put it down, I just kept turning page after page and before I knew it, it was done. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, twists and turns. That will leave you wanting more. It's emotional and pulls at your heartstrings, but it's also spicy ,dark and full of action, the characters where great. It's filled with so much. I can't wait to read more. Highly recommend.

Jenna is our beautiful FMC, she's going through a time off it. Her parents have just died in a terrible accident, while suffering and grieving she finds out that her parents left her with nothing and left it all to her big brother. She's shocked and can't understand she's numb and just wants out off their and to be home. When she gets home her boyfriend is cooking, she's so lost in thought and his happiness is confusing. She snaps telling him her parents are dead, when all he can think about is the money. He comforts her but then changes when he finds out that she was left nothing. He throws a fit and calls her names showing his true colours. She can't believe what's happening. He packs his bags and leaves her. She's dumfounded but deep down she's glad this happened.

Jenna is now back at school but her savings is running out and she needs to find a job to pay her way through school. She sees an ad on TV and laughs it off. Later that night she can't sleep so she scrolls through her phone job searching and finds a vacancy for a dance club, she applies right away. Gets a call back for an interview, she's over the moon. I'm going to leave it there so you can experience the rest for yourself. But will she get the job? And pay off her school fees? Will she find new love? Go grab it you won't be disappointed

Sensational Chemistry is an understatement for the instantaneous connection that Ian and Jenna had from the very beginning!! 🔥

Jenna is the type of woman most men hope for, beautiful, smart, funny and I can't forget to mention extremely artistically inclined.

Ian is equally as sought after by any woman who sets eyes on him and demands respect from all of those around him.
I truely had butterflies in my stomach when he took Jenna in the Private Room the 1st time 🤭 It was so electrical and passionate I felt as if I was in the room myself. I can imagine his voice saying all the things he spoke to her and it gives me goosebumps.

Chance holds a bigger part than it seems in the beginning and I was thrilled that he wasn't a total creeper unlike Roman who was a astronomical asshat.

Amber held a place for with me especially since she was nice to Jenna from the get go. So I honestly expected alot more between her and Chance then there was. ( I cried a little in the end)

Can't forget the brother Tyler who brought so much grief to his sister. He grew on me throughout the story and I was happy he didn't end up 6' under for doing wretched things.

I picked up this book and next thing I knew it was a cpl hours later and I was complaining to myself because I wanted more. There were so many times when Jenna would cry and I couldn't help but tear up a little myself.

VB definitely knows how to get things heated up quickly and she kept the Heat going throughout every single page.

If you was a fast paced, hot & heavy story with some scare factor involved then this is the book for you. I recommend you hop out and get your very own copy.

Happy Reading 📚

Jenna Prescott's life was turned upside down since her parents died and her relationship with her brother changed as well. Then she breaks up with her boyfriend, action that later will have consequences. So, to pay off her school and keep living in the expensive Boston, she needs to look for a job. While doing homework she listens to a documentary about exotic dancers aand the money they make which leads to her application for a local nightclub - Club Euphoria. Later on she realizes that it was actually a strip club. She meets her boss, Ian Knight, on her first day but doesn't know that. He takes an interest in her the moment he sees her and they retreat to a private room. Their interactions before knowing he's her employer are both hot and funny.
As they continue to see each other at the club they both start catching feelings, their interactions no longer taking place only at work, but also going out and at the other's place. Their chemistry is on point!

The side characters, as always with V. B. Emanuele's books, are well developed and have their own story and growth going on. Chance is her best friend with a questionable sense of humor, a famous actor, whom she met through her mother, and they have been best friends since. There is more to him than just a star and womanizer, and we get to see a small glimpse. Amber is another stripper at the club and also becomes a good friend. Tyler, Jenna's brother, brings a great surprise for the storyline.

The book is a V.B. Emanuele story alright, filled with plot twists you can’t see coming, originality, well developed characters and spice!

Title: Just Business
Author: V.B Emanuele
Series: Club Euphoria #1
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

First off let me say I absolutely love every single book that V.B Emanuele writes. She literally slays it every single time she decides to come out with a new book and Just Business was absolutely no different!!! This book was exactly what I love and then some!!!

Jenna is such a strong willed, brave woman who refuses to give up in face of everything that's gone wrong in her life. She decides to become an exotic dancer to keep up with payments for her prestigious Boston College tuition. She has no one but herself and she knows that she can earn quick money dancing. What she doesn't plan on is meeting the enigmatic man, Ian who happens to be the owner of the club she works in. She can't fight the attraction and chemistry she has with Ian but she also doesn't know that he's more than just a club owner. When she finds out exactly who he is and what he's about, will she decide to keep things Just Business between them??

This book has everything you would want in a dark romance. It's got twists and turns, the morally grey sexy mystery man, the strong, beautiful fmc, touch her and you die vibes and of course spicy scenes. I love the way V.B. Emanuele writes her books, they are so good. The book is fast paced and the writing style keeps you completely enthralled, wanting to know what's going to happen next. I cannot recommend this book or this author enough. I can't wait till book two!!!!

Just Business, by author V.B. Emanuele, is an updated re-release of the first book of the Club Euphoria Series. I enjoyed the Veiling series and knew I would be fond of this one. Even though I went in blind, I already had a general idea of the book because of the mafia romance theme from V.B. I really enjoyed this one. V.B.'s writing style flows effortlessly and is an easy read.

The chemistry between the two main characters was sizzling hot. Jenna, suffering the loss of her parents while attending law school, must quickly find a paying job and money in her pockets to keep herself enrolled. Seeing an ad for a dance was an easy yes for this past dancer/gymnast. She welcomed the challenge when she discovered that she was applying to be an exotic dancer. I loved her confidence.

Oh, and Ian, yummy yummy Mr. Knight. The two of them have such chemistry immediately. I wasn’t expecting their first meeting to be so… spicy. I read this while waiting for a doctor’s appointment, and my cheeks were flushed from blushing!

As always, the spice was on point. The suspense and an exciting plot always seemed secondary to the romance and characters, but I didn’t mind when I loved them so much. I also love a good HEA, and this one didn’t disappoint.

Thank you to V.B. Emanuele for gifting me a digital ARC copy of Just Business. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In the book, we follow Jenna. She's attending law school and seems to have the perfect relationship with a guy named Roman, but her parents died in an accident. She thinks that she was in her parents' will, but it turned out that her brother was the one that got everything, leaving Jenna with nothing. Roman leaves her as a result, and she has no way of paying for law school. She sees a documentary about exotic dancing and thinks she'll never do that. She sees an ad for a dancer, and applies for the job, but she doesn't realize the kind of job she's applied for; she applied for a job she told herself she'd never do: exotic dancing. Thing is though, the pay is good and it can het her through school, so she gives it a shot. She realizes that not all of her new coworkers are nice because they're all in competition for the owner's attention and favor. One night, she meets the illustrious Mr. Knight, not knowing he's the owner. The attraction is immediate and she soon finds herself in his favor, and they both soon find themselves falling for each other. Jenna's life seems to be looking up, but as any dark romance lover knows, when the main character's life seems like it's getting better, danger is usually lurking around the corner, and Mr. Knight is willing to do anything in his willpower to make sure that Jenna is safe and by his side! This book was absolutely amazing and I CANNOT wait to see what happens in book 2!

I really enjoyed this one. The plot flows great, although it is secondary to the romance and characters. Jenna is a great character, probably my favourite lady from valentina. Strong and passionate, trying to find her place in the world while enjoying what she does.
As is usual for me, I liked better the side character than the MMC, Ian is great and very hot, but the charm chance has is more my style. And I am excited to read more about him in the next book. 😁
Great smut and a lot of spice and sexual tension, with quite a bit of drama and some hard and dark themes,so I would recommend you check the triggers before reading. If you also enjoy mafia and smut, you must check this one and the other books by the author. You won't regret it.

The only thing I would love more of in this kind of book is diversity, in almost every sense. There is variety of nationalities, but almost all the characters are white, thin/muscled and attractive and straight, and so far there is no mental or physical disabilities, except for short mention of depression and suicidal thoughts in the past and from a side character. That makes it less believable and impossible for me to connect to the characters at a deeper level. So I would really love to see more diversity in v.b Emanuel books and mafia romance in general.

Do you know that little chip that comes with a warning label due to how hot it is? Yeah, Just Business by VB Emanuele should come with the same dang warning!

Emanuele’s writing style appears almost effortless. I cannot recall if there was a moment when I felt that I had to reread a section because I couldn’t understand it. It was such a fluid reading experience that I had to force myself to put the book down when the clock hit 3 am. I found myself falling for more than the story of the MCs... I found that the chemistry that kept me enthralled and begging for more was that of Amber and Chance. I would absolutely love to see a book that centers around these two characters and gives us further insight into the complexities surrounding them.

This is one of those novels that makes you want to find a friend and scream at them, “You have to read this NOW!”! All because you need someone to squeal like two high school girls with you!

When a book is spicy to this level, the storyline tends to suffer. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE INSTANCES! The story is just as important as the chemistry shared between the two MCs.

4.8 out of 5 stars all the way!

I may or may not, but definitely do, have a girl crush on Jenna. I guess Ian could tag along too,... Sigh, if he must. 😉

While I’m waiting for that day to come, I guess I’ll just daydream!

"Fine, go save the world."
"Not the entire world. Just my entire world."

I can never get enough of V.B.'s books. I swear as soon as I start one they consume me. I always know what I am in for when reading one of her books...plot twists you definitely do not see coming, swoon worthy men, and anxiety/panic attacks from said plot twists...lol!

These particular plot twists had me thinking overtime while reading this. Of course it doesn't ever all make sense until after the fact. I lost count of how many times I was completely shocked by which direction the story ended up leading. So many characters I was liking and shouldn't have and then characters I was hating when I should have been liking them....well done V.B.

Ian Knight and Jenna Prescott were so much more than I was expecting. Ms. Emanuele has a way of portraying these mafia men in such a way that you cannot help but absolutely adore them. Ian is no exception. He has this side of him that is reserved only for Jenna and then he starts gradually showing it to those in her extremely small circle. He is exactly who Jenna needs in her life and he makes his appearance right when she needs him. Other than her best friend, Chance, she has nobody in her corner.

Be prepared to fall in love with the family that gets formed with all the side characters. Even in the mafia world Ian and Jenna manage to find themselves surrounded by loved ones. True to her evil writing ways V.B. Emanuele leaves her readers with that ending that presumably leads into book two. I am so very excited to see what she will bring us in book two!

I have read a total of 5 books by author V.B. Emanuele (including this one) and I have loved them all. She has the gift of capturing her readers from the very first chapter. I love this erotic story between Ian and Jenna. It begins when Jenna applies for a dance position at a club to pay for college. Oblivious to the fact that it's a gentlemans club and not a regular nightclub she accepts the position. As she heads to her first night at the job she runs into a handsome breathtaking man. What happens next?...you will have to find out yourself.

However, if you love possesive, touch her and you die, erotic romances you will love this novel. Ian has the perfect mixture of bossy, dangerous, sexy, romantic, and family oriented traits. The story itself is very well crafted, it has drama, action, romance, and raw spicy scenes. Best of all is that all the characters in this novel are likable. Once you begin reading this novel you will be absolutely absorbed into this Club Euphoria world and you will not be able to put it down until you finish. So don't hesistate to read this because its a definite must read.

This is the third book I read from this author and I can't wait to read the second and third part of this series!

This book def kept me on the edge in some parts and made me giggle in others. After her parents were killed in a car accident, Jenna had to pretty much start fresh. She found that a club was looking for a dancer and she loved to dance. She became a woman who danced to get tips from the most powerful of men, one including her boss. Ian pretty much knew she would be his from the beginning. He didn't know her story but he did find out and he burned the world down for her. She had been hurt by her ex and her brother and she thought she had no one but by the end of this she escaped death and found love and found friends who became family. She found out Ian secrets and he found out hers and together they helped each other heal and he worshipped her like a queen any good Mob boss would treat the woman they love.

I loved this book so much and now onto Chance's story.

There's some great "bromances" in this book too. 😏

A well deserved 5 stars and she brought the spice and fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
