Crossing the Line
He's a killer able to reach even the most untouchable marks and she's his new obsession. Watching from his balcony, Hunter can't fight the force pulling him toward the girl who just moved in across the street. The sexy little brunette bouncing around her apartment unpacking boxes has him searching for a way to get closer. He never expected to be watching from the shadows as the police take her away. If he wants a chance with her, he has no choice but to follow.
All Addy wanted was a new beginning and a chance at a normal life after leaving her cheating ex. She never expected her new start to include witnessing a brutal crime and being forced to relocate while the police searched for the killer. Finding herself waiting tables alone in a new town isn't exactly the start she was hoping for until the handsome stranger at table four turns her world upside down.
Blurring the Line
Chris
He'd gone on countless assignments all around the world but nothing could prepare him for her. Tension is high after a cyber-attack exposes the agency's personnel files to enemy hackers. Among those exposed includes the Director of the secret military security group. Chris's boss assigns him to security detail for his spoiled and stubborn twenty-three-year-old daughter. It could be an assignment from hell until Chris gets a look at the gorgeous woman with her perfect curves. What he doesn't realize is that this stubborn woman may be the most challenging mission yet. Caroline
Caroline's overprotective father reaches a new extreme when he hires a bodyguard to watch over her. She'd happily spend her time with the muscled hunk oozing masculinity unlike the boys she's met before but she resists -- convinced he's not there to keep her safe but to keep her from living her life. Caroline refuses to be controlled by her father or the strong, tough soldier her dad sent to protect her.
Drawing the Line
Mason
Mason Carlile loves his career as an explosives expert for a secret government agency. The danger, intrigue, and complexities of his job make him a valuable asset. When the Agency is under attack by a group determined to take them down, they need him more than ever. Delivering on his commitment to the Agency may be impossible, though, since he's wanted by the local police for murder. He'll do anything to clear his name and fight for his colleagues--even if it means forcing himself into the home of an innocent, unsuspecting artist.
Hana
Hana Moore lives a quiet, creative existence as a struggling painter. When her home is invaded by a mysterious man supposedly running from the police, her world is turned upside down. Completely freaked out, she struggles to reconcile her fear of her captor with some sense of normalcy, as he hides out in her home and disrupts her everyday life. Even though she knows he's not what he seems, Hana can't help feeling safe with him and finds herself wanting to help.
Both captor and hostage are careful to draw the line between what they want and what they must do. But sometimes, the heart has other plans.
For as long as she can remember, Nikki Rose has enjoyed writing stories. For years, writing was just a hobby for this South Carolina native. It was a way to let out all the stories floating around in her head. After one of those stories took on a mind of its own, outgrowing even the parameters of a single book, Rose knew she had to pursue her dream.
Married to her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rose feels she is truly living out a romance story of her very own. As a stay at home mom of two, she is blessed with the time needed to work on her writing career full-time while her kids are at school or in the wee hours while normal people sleep. She considers herself a music-obsessed chocoholic and hopeless romantic who enjoys weaving romance stories with a healthy dose of mystery and suspense.
This series is an explosive, high energy read. With amazing characters and loads of romance and danger!
Crossing the Line (The Line, #1) Oh my, this book was not what I was expecting at all. Totally twisted and I loved it! This story was so thrilling and exciting. I was turning pages till I could not turn anymore and I still wanted more.
All Addy wants is a new fresh start in life. After her ex cheated on her she moved to the city to do just that. But then one night she ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now she is on the run from a killer. Little does she know that this killer will want more than her death, he wants her soul.
I went into this story thinking that this was your common story of serial killer stalking his next victim and falling in love and wanting to consume her. Man, I was totally off base. This book had such an amazing twist that it threw me for a complete loop. Wow! I just have to say if you want a book that is an edge of the seat good, with plenty of thrills and chills and WTF! moments, then this book is it. Not only was the story line unique and new, it had amazing characters that not only entertain but grasp you and hold you hostage throughout the book. Page after page, you can't put it down. You have to know what is happening next. There was one moment when I took a deep breath and thought I was going to have a heart attack from the shock of the scene. Intense read. Loved every minute of it. It was full of cloak and dagger espionage stuff. Some Mission Impossible stuff. I highly recommend this book for those who are thrill seekers. You will not be disappointed. I know I was not.
Blurring the Line (The Line, #2) All Caroline wants is to live a normal life. But her father is in a high profile position that often comes with danger and life threats to. Such a threat that her father constantly has her on lock down. Sometimes she feels like she is in a prison.
Chris is back on field duty after an injury from his last assignment. When his boss Director Applegate puts him on a special assignment. This assignment is not one he is used to, nor wants. Babysitting duty. Ugh. His boss wants him to be his daughter’s body guard. A huge threat has the director worried for his daughter and so he assign’s Chris with this task as he is his most trusted employee.
When Chris and Caroline first meet it is a clash of the titans battle. Caroline is being very bratty about being put on lock down with a permanent shadow and Chris finds her immature. But the attraction between these two is undeniable. But it is forbidden. A line they should not cross.
What happens when the lines blur?
This book was an action packed book full of danger, lies and sexy hot love. The characters were interesting, even though Caroline was a bit childish for her age. That got on my nerves a bit. Chris to me was a bit of a cocky meat head at first, but I really came to enjoy him as the book continued.
I really enjoyed the book in the middle and towards the end. That is when the action picked up and the danger becomes real. The story really develops and evolves after that, making this book very interesting.
Overall this book is a good read, but I didn’t like it as much as the last book Crossing the Line. It seem to be missing that same flare the last one had. But still a great read. If you enjoy danger with a hot sexy hero, then this book is up your ally. Chris is definitely a hot sexy hero. He can guard my body any day.
Drawing the Line (The Line, #3) Oh my! This book was my absolute favorite in the series. I love Mason. His whole personality just drew me in. He is sweet, yet dangerously handsome. He is a natural flirt and laid back. He is your man when you want the job done right. I am so in love with Mason, in case you have not figured it out yet. “wink wink”
Hana is a very quiet and reserved person. She really doesn’t stick up for herself. Even her landlord is a menace to her. She keeps to herself and paints. But her life changes dramatically when Mason shows up.
Overall this book kicks butt! It has top notch energetic characters. Hot chemistry and danger to get your adrenaline running at full speed. This book is the perfect read to get the imagination going. It is sure to entertain for hours. If you don’t love Mason then you really need to read it again. I appluade Nikki for her excellent book writing skills.
This book was a fast paced story. It was full of mystery and action. Never a dull moment for this read. I could not put the book down. I was addicted from the very first chapter. I honestly believe that Mason and Hana were the perfect characters, built to draw the readers in with their hot chemistry. These two truly are the best couple in this series.

new 2 Nikki's writing. fun to read a interesting fun had me curious kind of a series, great cover. had me curious where it would head. i am curious about more of Nikki's books ... will read more soon.
Read 9 chapters of the first story. I’m not fond of the writing style. Feels like a first draft that needs fine tuning and researching. WITSEC is much more complicated than an exchange of credentials at a random drop spot. DNF.
