Even Heroes stumble when walking the Path of Ascension.
After the excitement of the midterms has died down, both Alex and J are looking forward to their vacation. The happiness they find is all too fleeting.
Alex is whisked off in the middle of the night, heading for a series of challenges that will push him to his very limits. J accepts his new role as an eager student until he's forced to contend with a rival from his past.
Can the two overcome their mounting obstacles and emerge as Heroes of Ascension?
Imagine a story that combines My Hero Academia, IP Man, and your favorite harem novel, and you'll have Wyvern Academy...
Wyvern Academy is a harem cultivation novel written by authors Atlas Kane, bestselling author of Chimera King, and Grayson Sinclair, bestselling author of Hive Knight. Wyvern Academy is inspired by Japanese Light Novels as well as a deep love and respect for anime, kung fu, martial arts, and battle academy adventures.
Caution to Readers: Wyvern Academy light novels contain explicit adult content, unconventional / harem relationships, graphic and persistent violence, and occasional lapses in decorum that would make your dear mother faint. Proceed at your own risk.
I really enjoyed this second book in the series that the two authors put out. They do a fantastic job of entertaining and an inner weaving the story. it has a little bit of cultivation but does not go overboard like a lot of these other books so therefore was a lot more enjoyable to me. There is lots of action and adventure and a little bit of intrigue as well. I like the interpersonal relationships between the characters and they are being developed quite nicely. the good guys and girls along with the bad guys and gals adds spice to the story. I also like the way the romance is developed and not done in a fake or hurried way. All in all of course I can't wait for the next book to come out in the series hope it comes soon.
Alex's secret training leads him down a different dangerous path that only he can do can he do it ?
As Alex is training at Wyvern Academy he stumbles upon his ki by accident in his core an starts experimenting with his ki an is able to control his Ki willing himself to do so something that hasn't been taught yet at the academy . He is dragged away from the academy to secretly train at a temple in China developing his ki an strengthing his body as well an going thru mental an physical changes as well as strengthing his mind an body for 4 months intense training . recommend reading excellent series .
This book ticked every box for me. Even better than book one. I was engaged from page 1 and did not want to put it down. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.
Without giving away to much: this book continues directly on from Book 1. Both main characters J (James) and Alex continue to increase their skills and abilities with martial arts and ki. Their girls also keep up and things keep improving for them all.
Thank you both Atlas Kane and Grayson Sinclair for another great read. Looking forward to reading both your next books.
I love this series. I especially like the differences between the two main characters and the almost fan service we get as they battle others. I love the plot and how everything comes together. There’s never a moment when I’m disappointed or bored when switching povs between the protagonists, and I can definitely say this is one series I haven’t put down since I began.
This is an awesome follow up to the first book. This book is far from perfect I think two different MCs is hard to keep track of and just when I get into the flow the POV changes. Still very good and I till read the next one.
Fantasy martial arts harem Book 2 in the dual-MC story of two students, Alex and Just (James). While J works hard to improve his skills, Alex is suddenly offered... well, that would be telling. Recommended.
The story keeps evolving. One MC starts to get access to his inner Ki and we see the first fight with demons. I like how the relationships between the pupils evolve and the MCs don't only hang out with the same people all the time.
This is an excellent series told from 2 point of views. Wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy that perspective but I’ve been won over. Highly recommend this series!!
