Rate this book
How do we develop the resilience that empowers us to be ourselves in the face of change?

How do we learn to be courageous when days are difficult? How do we build our capacity for healing and growth when we can no longer do the things we once did that gave our lives satisfaction, meaning, and purpose?

Building Resilience offers a path toward creativity in responding to change in your life, regaining some control over your circumstances, and overcoming feelings of helplessness. Whether you’re 17 or 75, if life has thrown you a curve ball, this book can help you get on track toward being yourself in your new normal. With a foreword by Stephanie Spellers.

Great insight on how to pull yourself out of events and challenges that seem crushing spiritually and physically. While the truths Rev Scannell presents are for all ages, it is especially important as we age. Getting older is not for the faint of heart! The wisdom building opportunity found in this small book can help transform an apparent liability into an opportunity to transform your life.

A great resource for a resilient life!

A stellar read. I'm not exactly the target audience, but in Covid-tide we're all kind of in a geriatric way... so reading these concrete ways to get through, not back to "normal" but to a new normal, was inspiring. If every American could read through this and start practicing the resilience techniques offered, we'd all be much better for it!
