For Jewel being in the final semester of college is both exciting and terrifying. What will she do when she is finished? Where will she go? All these questions plague her mind, but she won’t have time to answer them, when three men bulldoze their way into her life.
Patrick a fellow student that makes her laugh. Professor Thorn who likes to be called “Daddy” & Professor Hamilton who thinks loving Jewel is a terrible idea but can’t stop himself from falling anyway.
If that wasn’t enough to make Jewel crazy, secrets from the past are brought to light and threaten the happiness they found in each other’s arms.
Is Jewel ready for this twisted kind of love? Will she survive long enough to enjoy it?
I wish for at least a few more chapters of all of them together but I still love this story!!
Just have an open mind, suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the ride. It’s so entertaining and hilarious at times mainly because of Jewel’s thoughts and what she says. It’s steamy too with plenty of MF and MM action!
It’s another new to me author and I’m so happy to know that she has another RH for me to devour. Backridge Kentucky here I come!
There was some unbelievably far fetched things in this story that pulled me from enjoying it. The author obviously has never felt significant pain or been in the hospital or dealt with hospital staff. Firstly a medical professional or staff wouldn't inform someone as being 'passed out', but as Unconscious or found Unresponsive. Next, a gun shot wound is so painful, that a person wouldn't insist they go to work right out of the hospital and have the nerve to just sleep @ work just as if being present in body will allow them to be paid. This scene was ridiculous. Severe or extreme stuburnness was used as if it meant strength instead the foolishness it was. Being, even gently, chastised for foolish actions resulted in a tantrum, screaming about being judged, instead of maturely reflecting that thinking before acting could have been a better option but no, her every action is unquestionably perfect. Once her life was in danger for the millionth time, again, curbing her actions & wants is such an affront to her independence regardless the risk to her life, was so beyond comprehension to her. Being free to continue her sex life & college was more imperative than a death threat & attempts on her life. What finished it for me was when after being hit by a car, in hospital again, induring multiple fractures, dislocated hip, etc. She insists on walking out, refusing to limp, through the hospital to escape another death attempt. This a contemporary story not fantasy paranormal but you wouldn't know it with this girls impervious ability to pain & damage to bones & body. DNF.
Wow, okayyy. I was really wanting a student-teacher romance with a teacher and 2 students AND a student-teacher with MM and I basically got all of the above with this book. I did enjoy it but it had some stuff that bothered me...
First, the fact that Patrick slept with the office secretary Lois to get Jewel’s file to obtain her information. That was pretty shady and made me take a point off from his likeable status right off the bat. Bad way to start, dude.
Second, even though I kinda get it, it felt messed up for all 3 of the guys to start something with Jewel and keep her in the dark about their relationship. I mean, Patrick was fucking his stepfather (Thomas) AND his stepfather’s partner (Brian), and they were both his and Jewel’s professors who saw them every class together. Then Jewel became Brian’s TA who not only shared an office with Thomas but also lived with him and Patrick! So much crazy shit right there.
Third, when Jewel spent the night at Patrick’s house and she went to get some water, Thomas came out and ate her out while Patrick and Brian watched and jacked off to it... yet she thought it was Patrick the whole time! (Thomas pushed her shirt over her head while she was facing away from him) Wow...
I’m not saying that it isn’t hot, because it definitely is. But she found out by accidentally walking in on the 3 of them fucking each other and as she’s running away from them, she gets in an accident and the next chapter a week has passed. The next time she sees them she’s basically all good with it. I wish it would’ve shown her working through her feelings more. Shouldn’t she have felt more betrayed? I mean she was also fucking the 3 of them at the same time and assumed none of them knew about the other either...
The whole thing just turned into some crazy shit and add Darren in there. Then he disappears for months and hardly gets any screen time in there and then BAM! Epilogue. The ending felt too rushed.
I enjoyed the writing somewhat but it was a little bit much for me, I think. I liked the idea of this book but the execution felt wrong for me. 3.5⭐️

Well if you are looking for something that will set you on fire and is filled with all the kink... you need to put your hands on this book.
Jewel finds herself attracted to two of her professors and a classmate. She gives in to her desires much to her lady bits delight. Her inner dialogue is hilarious and she embraces her sexual awakening.
From Daddy, to age gap, to student/professor, and even MM there is some hotness to enjoy. There is a lot of steam and a taboo relationship that makes this book hard to put down. Toward the end a mystery is revealed that connects Jewel’s past to a mysterious protector. Her neighbors are hilarious and show you that even in the bad parts of town you ban connect with people who look out for you.
Multiple POVS. High steam. MMM. Kinky. Make sure you stock up on batteries 😉
It's a 3.5 stars from me but only because of the eye roll moments I had. This book is well written, witty, funny, sexy as hell, and teaches that it doesn't matter who you love. Love is love! And I dig it!
I kept waiting for the scene with all of them together, but it never came and it's a shame.
Jewel was such an amazing character- smart, determined, strong and a survivor not matter what life dumped on her door step. All of the guys are hot and awesome in their own way and I liked them all. But especially I loved Brian.
Seriously, even though I had some eye roll moments that got me oh what the f, I finished this book in a day. This book got me out of a 3 months book slump and it saved me!
DNF but not for lack of trying. I forced it to the 82% mark and just couldn't do it as bad as I wanted to. I gave it 2 stars because I do like the idea of the story it just reads as a first draft maybe and not an edited story.
This book was ridiculous, LOL. I only gave it TWO stars because I had the feeling that I HAD to finish it. The M/M storylines were fine, don’t think for a second that’s the reason for the 2 stars. It was just the storyline in general, ESPECIALLY the ending. It ended so abruptly with so many things unanswered.
“It's so bad I want to give you a zero. But that's not possible so I give you a one.”
I wanted to like this book because it had the tropes I was looking for, but the writing was so choppy that it ruined the book for me. There are also some odd parts that were super insensitive (like saying an abusive mom is better than having no mom at all). Even with the mindset of this being a quick erotica read, it wasn’t good. I’ve read better books on Wattpad and AO3.
I have been looking for a student/teacher romance that I really like, and this one has elements I enjoyed, but overall I was disappointed.
In terms of forbidden romances, it checks a lot of boxes. Student/teacher, employee/boss, step-father, etc. In general I liked the book. I thought her main 3 guys were good characters and I liked Patrick more than I thought I would (normally college-type boys are boring to read about).
My main complaint is that *Spoiler* the stuff with Darren and her parents and everything almost feels like it was thrown in as an afterthought. I think the book would have been just as good if not better if they had kept it the 3 guys and just had her find out about their relationship by walking in (same as she did) without all the wild other motivators she suddenly had.
After how many chapters we had getting to know the dynamic between Patrick, Brian, and Thomas, I feel like Darren was majorly short-changed and I really didn't care for his inclusion into the group. Maybe I would have if he had been fleshed out more but he wasn't even introduced until like 3/4 of the way through the book.
The ending was rushed for sure, and I think part of that is because the author had to quickly wrap up the weird spy B-plot and it just didn't feel satisfying.
I was pretty on board with this book until the whole intro of extra weird plot (that was arguably telegraphed but just... ugh). The spice for M/M scenes was better written than the F/M scenes which I thought was interesting. (Not complaining at all, still very sexy, just noting it).
At the end of the day this scratched some forbidden romance itches but I was disappointed in how it turned out.
I loved their love story. It was sometimes hard to follow with the typos and errors, but that’s an easy clean up.
This story is hot, and Jewel is a Badass. Jewel is an orphan who works hard to succeed at school while living in one of the worst areas in town and working at one of the worst stores.
Her teachers have been secretly watching and wanting her, and Thomas is in love with her. Patrick later has been in his class and decides that she needs to join their family. Patrick is in a relationship with his step father and his teacher. Y’all all of the kinks exist in this story and I’m here for her. Enjoy the twists and turns, you will never be able to see the ending.
I only gave it a 4 because of the numerous typos that should have been caught by the editors because it was distracting to read.
Triggers : Daddy kink, dub con, what could be thought of cheating but isn’t ( she just doesn’t realize it), step father relationship , teacher relationships, age gap.
I trusted booktok with this one I’ll say this😭 not only is the writing not good but the overall plot line????? I’ve read out of pocket dark romance that I ended up liking for a quick read. But this one just kept me clutching my pearls and yelling BLASPHEMYYYY because as unrealistic dark romance is, this one was just not it. I’m calling 911 for the main character Jewel and she is in desperate need of a therapist. I would of liked if the story focused on maybe both professors and her but the additional characters????? Also Patrick stand up 💀 and Darren??? We just met the man in one page???…. The ending of the book was even more …. Just read it yourself you’ll know or don’t honestly, there is better books with a better plot line 😭
1 star only because the professors could have had potential in this dark romance
I wasn't exactly sure what you expect when I decided to read this book. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I found this to be a pretty quick read that sucked me in right away. It's a pretty fast burn, so no waiting around forever to get to the juicy stuff. Be prepared for a lot of f/m, m/m, and even some m/m/m. My only disappointment was there wasn't any m/m/f/m. Kept waiting for it but, if being completely honest, the book is hot enough without it. There is a really sweet story line amongst all the sexy time and I think that is what really helped keep me engaged. If looking for a quick read, with fast burn, and an actual believable story timeline, I'd recommend this book.
Jewels is such a strong character. After the death of her mother by home invasion gone bad, she is forced into working herself to the bone. Making a horrible wage just to be able to afford an apartment on the wrong side of town. Jewels has an amazing mind and is able to maintain a high GPA even while working so much.
Along the way she meets two Smexy professors, another classmate and a mystery man that she falls deeply in love with.
Very steamy read that I could not put down. So full of sass, hot men and a lot of thrill.
I absolutely loved this book. I almost read it in one sitting. I love how this books shows that it doesn’t matter what color or gender you are Love is Love. It just so happens to happen to a very lucky unlucky girl Jewel. She finds the love of not 3 but 4 beautiful men. It just so happens 3 of the men love each other as well. There are some triggers but there is also a warning at the beginning of the book that stats that there could be triggers. Definitely recommend one of my top 10 for this year.
This book was amazing! This was a little out of my wheelhouse, as m/m is not something I typically read. However, this book is HOT! I love that Jewel is strong and independent. All of the men in her life love her, but all have their different personalities and give her what she needs in different ways. There are also some interesting twists in the plot that will keep you guessing. You need to read this book, you will not be disappointed!
As always November Sweets does a great job of telling a version of a story that has been done before. Even though this taboo trope has been written and read I haven't ever come across quite this combination of them before. I loved how there was a little bit of all the little forbidden things.
I loved her relationship with each of the guys - even though I felt things with DD might have felt a little inorganic.
I liked this book in concept not execution. Love all the kink but it went a little haywire with subterfuge and other unnecessary elements that detracted from the hotness of the story. THEN after all that we still don't get a full scene with everyone. If you want to deliver hot kink gotta show everyone together and come on with MM and MF, there are options. Also there weren't many variations on the sexy times. I expected more I guess. Still decent overall.
I liked the premise of this book. Love the age gap, daddy, student/ professor tropes. But it's a reverse harem with m/m scenes and m/f but we don't get one scene with them all together! Why? The book had a lot of potential but could have been better. It had no business ending where it did. I would still recommend if you're into those tropes, but just know you're going to be left wanting in the end.
First off this is a one hander. Lol if you don’t know I’m sure you’ll figure it out. But talk about hot out the gate. When I say this on the author’s TikTok I had to give it a go. She didn’t over sale and I only got 4 hours of sleep because I couldn’t put it down and then woke up In the middle of the night cause I had to finish it. I recommended this book before I even finished reading it
A beautifully written RH. The characters are compelling and entertaining. I love the different relationships they each have with one another. There is plenty of sexy times and sweet times to fully satisfy you. I highly recommend this read.
It was a fantastic book and I loved it. It opened up in a way that I was like oh my god what the heck is going to happen but it was truly wonderful. Action packed. Romance. Just absolutely wonderful!!
It was a fun little story. A little too fast pace for me. And I love sex in my book but I did feel like it was more sex then story. Also there were a lot of grammatical errors that took away from the story for me. Overall a good quick read.
Wow. I really enjoyed this book. It was so well done. And there was so much chemistry everywhere. Holy smokes the relationships. And the plot had a touch of mystery. And I was completely invested. This is a must read.
Loved the novel! I loved the povs and the slow build of all relationships separate I wish we had more group stuff and seen the dynamic of all of them together. Other than that I thought the book was well written plenty of steam and adventure and love
