I chose to review this book because I absolutely adore the Beachfront Bakery series and had the same expectations from this series. This was the first book of this series I’ve read, even though it is #6.

Overall, the story was delightful and engaging. The writing was very well done and I really enjoyed the characters and the setting. One core element was sorely underdeveloped and that was the murder mystery part of the story.

The book is very slow to get to the point where the murder takes place, and by then, the mystery and sleuthing storyline felt like a distraction to a beautiful story about an up and coming American winemaker in Tuscany, rather than the main plot of the story. I was disappointed that the whodunnit element of the story was so underdeveloped and then rushed to a conclusion.

The murder could have been omitted completely and it would have been an excellent feel good story of a woman chasing her dreams and defying odds. The book itself is well written, but it’s missing the core of the book it is supposed to be.

When Olivia's grapes freeze on the vine during an unexpected cold spell she decides to make the very first ice wine in Tuscany. Danilo tells her it is excellent and that she should enter an annual wine festival in Siena.

As Olivia and her friend Charlotte, now back in Italy for another visit, arrive in Siena for the festival. the descriptions of the town make me long to catch the next plane. Naturally, this being a murder mystery, she is not made welcome by the inefficient organizer or the others involved with the event. Although her wines are praised by everyone, the organizer tells the other judges that she cannot possibly win because there is no category for her new type of wine. When Cadenza (the show organizer) is found dead with a broken bottle of Olivia's ice wine beside her, Olivia is once again suspected and has to prove her innocence.

Olivia is showcasing her first Ice Wine at a festival filled with high-end wine snobs. The way the wine is described makes me want to find some. The people she has to interact with are a bit off-putting and the woman in charge, who is also a judge, well, it’s no surprise that she wasn’t well liked. When the acrimonious woman ends up dead, of course Olivia finds herself in the pool of suspects. Luckily, her best friend, Charlotte, was in town for a visit to help out with the wine festival booth.
The two of them are determined to clear Olivia’s name, and Olivia’s sleuthing puts her in danger. A blast from the past adds another wrinkle to Olivia’s already complicated first showing, and it’s nice to see her use her backbone when push finally comes to shove. Love everything about this series and can’t wait to dive in to book seven.

Another fun time with Olivia and friends! Charlotte comes for a visit and helps Olivia at a wine fest. Olivia has rented a small booth to present her ice wine. When Olivia finds the fest organizer dead after refusing to allow her wine to compete, naturally she's a suspect. Needing to clear her name, she and Charlotte go into sleuth mode. We get to visit with old friends and some new ones. Of course, Erba is always good for some laughs. Really enjoying this series! Learning more about the wine business and visiting the Italian countryside. What could be better? Maybe having a glass of wine while doing it? LOL!

This is book number 6 in the series, but the first book I have read by this author. Now, I definitely have to go back and read the first five! I managed to read it in one day because I couldn’t put it down! As one reviewer mentioned, don’t start it at night. I fell in love with the characters, they were all so believable. As Olivia is left to manage a vineyard in the owners absence, she is also expecting friend Charlotte from the US, and spending the next weekend introducing her first wine - an ice wine - at the annual wine festival. Olivia has words with the obnoxious Wine Festa del Vino organizer, who gets murdered after the wine awards are announced. Guess who the suspect is? And Olivia and Charlotte are off investigating!

Aged for Acrimony is Book 6 in A Tucson Vineyard Cozy Mystery. Fiona Grace has written an enjoyable cozy mystery. Olivia Glass is temporarily in charge of the winery, which comes with lots of pressure and problems. Olivia and her best friend, Charlotte, have a booth to showcase Olivia’s wine. Who knew wine could lead to murder! When the organizer was murdered, Olivia must work to clear her name. I felt the Fiona Grace did a masterful job of laying a foundation and she introduced the characters in a way that did not overwhelm me. I liked the twists and turns and the ending was perfect. I hope the Fiona Grace writes a book 7. I received an arc for free and left my review voluntarily.

A wonderful Tuscan Vineyard cozy mystery that immediately captivated me and kept me entertained and engaged until I read the last word with a great cast of characters and a must-solve mystery that quickly became a page-turner, I felt like I knew Olivia Glass and loved her dynamic with the other characters especially her best friend Charlotte who helped her solve the whodunit after the organizer of a major wine festival is found dead. If you enjoy hilarious can't-put-down twisty mysteries, you will love "Aged for Acrimony", book six in the Tuscan Vineyard Cozy Mystery series by Fiona Grace. The sixth book in the A Tuscan Vineyard Cozy Mystery series another great story that kept me turning pages. Olivia's story has suspense, murder, drama, twists, turns, a villain, and she is joined by her friend Charlotte and has Danilo a man she has feelings for there also. A story that was well worth reading. I will say do not start at bedtime as I was not putting it down until I had finished it. Olivia has entered her ice wine at a wine festival. Her friend Charlotte is there to help her. She has a terrible time setting up her booth and getting customers. But leave it to Charlotte to get things shaking and moving in Olivia's favor. But things that seem so good go so wrong when one of the wine judges is found dead with one of her wine bottles beside her! How will Olivia fair in this? You will have to read the book to find out. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Easy reading cozy that includes some humor as well as likable characters. This is not the first Tuscan Vineyard mystery I’ve read although I realized I missed reading a couple books in the series along the way. I will definitely go back and read the ones I missed. The characters are fun and interesting. The plot is engaging and moves along nicely. Great fun for cozy fans. Recommended. Thanks to the author I received a copy of this book. I love Italy and wine, so this book was very much up my alley!! Once again Olivia is living her dream in Italy showcasing her new ice wine, when she stumbles across a body. She and her fabulous friend Charlotte set out to find out who did it and to get the heat off Olivia. Very fun, easy, witty book. Perfect summer read with a glass (or 2) of wine...and now I want to go back to Italy!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions in this review are my own. Thank you Booksirens!

I have now read all 6 books in this series and really enjoy the background story of Olivia and her life changing choice of changing both career and home country. The murder mystery element of all the books I found to be so similar in all of the series that they distracted from the the more enjoyable background story.

Wine festivals and murder don't mix. Olivia needs to clear her name and find the real murderer. Plot twists kept me guessing to the end.

Olivia enters her ice wine in a festival competition, but stumbles over the body of the main judge. Of course she is suspect numero uno and has to solve the mystery and clear her name. This series really makes me want to drink wine while reading.

I am giving this 5 stars. However, I would like for Olivia to be involved with murders where she is not the suspect. It is starting to feel like a drinking game.

I enjoyed the continuing story but the short story line to solve the crime was not as hard to catch the culprit but happy one more is to come
