I hate to say it but these books are getting ditzier while the mysteries vary. The overall mystery of Olivia’s farm is good. But every book in the series makes me question whether to bother with the next.
I generally like Olivia Glass for her spunk & self-sufficiency. Then she turns into an angsty, neurotic moron who jumps to the worst & most unlikely conclusion every time someone wants to talk to her. It’s beyond tiresome. Someone that thin-skinned would never make it in advertising as a professional nor have the wherewithal to change her entire life, move across the world to Italy then stay there alone. I’m sure it supposed to read like slapstick comedy but I really just want to slap her.
And for the audiobook producers: if you are going to hire talent for a story in a foreign land with lots of foreign words, make sure she can pronounce them properly. Sadly, she has trouble with lots of English words too.
The author’s Lacey Doyle mysteries are much better.
This book is ok, but it's the same book each time just with a different victim. I don't think we need a review of how Olivia came to be in Tuscany. We also don't need a recap of the characters each time she interacts with them. I also would rather not have her so weird about her relationship with Marcelo. They have already decided on what their relationship will be. Move on and develop the relationship with Danilo.
Although this is the 5th book in the series it is my first Tuscan Vineyard read -- and now I have to go back and start at the beginning. Not because it isn't readable as a stand alone, "Aged for Vengeance" definitely gives you enough background to be able to follow the storyline, but because I found the characters likeable and interesting and would enjoy getting to "know" them better.
I'm rooting for Olivia (and Marcello), I don't trust Danilo, and I absolutely love Erba! All while coming in 3/4ths of the way through the series (thus far).
I will definitely be looking for more cozy mysteries by this author.

Aged for Vengeance is A Tuscan Vineyard Cozy Mystery Book 5. Fiona Grace has written a wonderful wine series. La Leggenda Winery has been selected for the Platinum Wine Tour. And, the fun/cozy begins! Marcello is going to learn about organic wine growing so he must decide who should be uncharge while he is gone, either Gabriella or Olivia. Olivia is dating Danilo and is trying to decide if he is cheating on her. And, if that is not enough excitement, a murder at the winery occurs! So much excitement in this fast paced story. I can’t wait to read more in this series. I received an arc for free, and am leaving my review voluntarily.
Olivia is on the case again. This time the murder occurs at the winery and there are lots of suspects. La Legendda is chosen to host a group of billionaire tourists on short notice and the future of the business is on the line. When one of the group turns up dead on site Olivia has to investigate to save her job. There is also drama in her personal life with Danilo. The mystery is good and the characters are great. I love Erba, the goat! She is precious! I really like this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Billionaires on a tour show that they are almost as obnoxious as the recent bridezilla et al. Once again Olivia investigates when the most horrific of humans is found dead. Marcos is determining who will be in charge of the winery while he attends a mentorship program at another vineyard. It seems even billionaires are engaged by Erba. Olivia finally tastes her ice wine and opens the locked building on her farm.

I really liked the atmosphere and setting—cozy, vivid, and easy to sink into. But as the series goes on, it starts to feel like the A-Team of cozy mysteries: Olivia’s always the suspect, the murder always hits close to home, and everything wraps up just right. It works, but a new angle—maybe shifting the focus or letting someone else take the lead—could really freshen things up.
Great read. All kinds of twists and turns. Enjoyable reading with descriptions of places make you feel you are there. Makes you want to read the next book as the story of her life continues.
It's never a good thing when someone dies at your winery. Olivia must figure out her personal life as well as finding a murderer.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Super fun read, highly entertaining! Great quick read, murder mystery with wonderful characters. Loved the descriptions of the Tuscan winery, felt like I was there!
Highly recommend!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions in this review are my own. Thanks Booksirens!
A group of billionaires on a prestigious wine tour are at La Leggenda, and while they are pretty much all high maintenance, one in particular is picking fights with everyone. Erba the goat finds him face down in a pond and once again Olivia is suspected by Detective Caputi.
This book is a feast for your eyes and mind. Once again, I couldn't figure out who the murderer was, like I've done with other murder mystery authors I've read. I also love how well the wine and foods are described. On to book 6
Very entertaining and hard to put down! Both plot and characters draw you in and keep you actively involved. You’ll become very attached to this charming slice of Tuscany.
I like this series and this author. The reading is light and not very taxing. Just right for the tense times we are going through. Can’t wait for the next book.
OOOH NOOO! I can not believe it. This story has left me a 'cliff hanger'. Now I must hurry and finish this review so I can find out what happens next!!
This is the second book I've read in this series and the third by Fiona Grace because what I absolutely love about her books is her storytelling and the creation of characters that you care about and find yourself fully invested in. They are very easy reads, and you want to know what happens next, not in a suspenseful fashion, but because the characters and their stories pull you in immediately.
Olivia Glass is a delightful heroine and I love that she's both independent and strong, but struggles with a bit of insecurity and imposter syndrome as well, a feeling that many women can relate to.
The book, overall is very well written and earns the number of stars I give to books that fall into my "would recommend" list. However, if you're looking for a mystery novel, this is not it. The murder mystery is not the main storyline, but rather, a subplot that interferes with Olivia's plans.

There are so many things to track in this book 5 of the series. The winery has been selected at the last minute to host a high-end wine tour group that could be a huge break should their tasting be successful. There is a mad dash to get everything ready, but the team pulls together. When one of the members ends up dead, Olivia is back on the case to solve the murder. With Olivia and Danilo on solid ground with their relationship, this plotline has you guessing and double guessing. I love this series. The descriptions of the locale, countryside, food and wine always make me want to book the next flight to Italy. The Fiona Grace mysteries are great examples of the cozy style and I absolutely love the characters and Erba her pet goat.
